Dating Daan preacher Eli Soriano slams Mystica for criticizing President Duterte: “Ang sama ng bunganga mo!”

Members Church of God International (MCGI) founder Eliseo ‘Eli’ Soriano slammed Ruby Villanueva, popularly known as Mystica, for criticizing President Rodrigo Duterte.

On April 12, Soriano who’s leading an online bible study mentioned Mystica, saying that he couldn’t understand why the former actress chose to disrespect Duterte.

Soriano urged his followers not to imitate Mystica’s action, believing that the former actress committed inciting to sedition.

He even questioned why Mystica decided to support Vice President Leni Robredo,.

The televangelist believes that the government is doing its best to help the people affected by the crisis, however, the limited budget of the government might giving the administration difficulty to aid everyone.

Soriano then explained why Mystica should be considered as an enemy of God, citing a bible verse that says “submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human authority: whether to the emperor, as the supreme authority,”

He also said that he’s not trying to impress President Duterte and only following what the bible is teaching.

A few weeks ago, Mystica received criticisms because of her videos against President Duterte.

Even Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque warned Mystica that she may face charges for what she’s doing.

DOLE asks Taiwan to deport Filipina caregiver and anti-Duterte blogger for her statements against the President

A Filipina caregiver might face a possible deportation because of her statements against President Rodrigo Duterte that she posted on social media.

A few weeks ago, an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) using social media name ‘Linn Silawan’ and ‘Hampas Lupa’ raised the eyebrows of the supporters of Duterte because of her messages against the government.

“Napaka iresponsable ng gobyerno meron tayo, napaka inutil sa totoo lang…” she said.

The OFW also slammed Duterte for his friendliness towards China.

Some of her videos already reached millions of views on social media.

In a statement, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) announced that they already traced the said OFW and she was identified as Elanel Egot Ordiror, a Filipina caregiver working in Yunlin, Country, Taiwan.

According to DOLE, they asked Taiwan to deport Ordiror as she committed a cyber libel against the President.

The department said that Ordidor might get punished both in Taiwan and the Philippines.

They said that while Ordiror was cooperative at first, they discovered that the caregiver was allegedly trying to gather support on social media.

“Ordidor was cooperative and cordial at first and committed to delete all her uploaded videos against the President and promised not to do it again. She also promised to upload a video of her public apology to the President and to the people in the government at 9 pm of the same day,” the DOLE statement read.

“However, hours after the visit, several posts were seen on the POLO Taichung’ Facebook page from several fake accounts assuring Ms. Ordidor’s cause and further giving her assurance of support,” they added.

POLO Taichung/International Labor Affairs Bureau said that they’re already informed the employer of Ordidor about the illegal acts she committed under Republic Act No. 10175.

Here’s some of the videos posted by Ordidor on social media:

Supporters of Duterte celebrated after hearing the news about Ordidor, saying that she deserved to be punished for her statements against the President.

The camp of Ordidor is not yet releasing a statement as of writing.

General Eleazar tells ABS CBN reporter: “Anong gagawin mo? Iilag kang parang sine? Ta-tumbling ka muna bago mo i-approach?”

Task Force COVID-19 Shield commander  PLtGen. Guillermo Eleazar defended the actions of the cops who encountered Corporal Winston Ragos, 34 in Quezon City last Tuesday, saying that they’re only defending themselves from the retired soldier.

Ragos lost his life after one of the cops, Master Sergeant Daniel Florendo Jr decided to use his gun against him because the former allegedly tried to pull a weapon into the sling bag he wore.

Eleazar explained in an ABS-CBN interview with Christian Esguerra that the cops couldn’t risk their lives to try to use physical means to subdue Ragos because if the retired soldier was really carrying a weapon, he might harm not only Florendo but the other police who responded to the scene.

He also said that the cops only had few seconds to decide during the said encounter, and their lives might put in danger if they choose to make a wrong move.

“Do you think that you have to check first if indeed there was a firearm bago mo ka mag-react? Splits second. Its was a judgement call for the police. Eh kung pagbunot ‘non at at nakapagpaputok ‘yun, at natamaan ang pulis natin, disgrasyang katakot-takot iyon,” Eleazar said.

The General insisted that Florendo only wanted to control Ragos, unfortunately, the retired soldier didn’t survive the encounter.

And just seconds after that, anong narinig mo doon? Tumawag ng ambulansiya. The point is talagang i-subdue lang siya. Yung pag baril mo doon Christian, eh una nakita mo na ayaw talagang mag-react o sumunod sa sinasabi mo, and then after that pagharap ngayon talagang nagcha-challenge pa at bubunot pa ng baril,” Eleazar told the ABS-CBN reporter.

“Eh ikaw anong gagawin mo Christian? Bago mo i-approach, well it’s too easy to criticize the police pero kayo ang lumagay sa posisyon namin”. May pamilya rin tayo,” he added.

When the reporter asked Eleazar if it’s possible for the cops to control Ragos without using their guns, the General pointed out that the retired soldier was already uncooperative to the police for two minutes.

Eleazar also believes that the cops followed the standard operating procedure of PNP, saying that the cops tried to warn Ragos verbally, however, instead of following the police, the retired soldier even tried to show resistance to them.

Meanwhile, the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) already filed a case against Florendo.

The Philippine Army also asked the National Bureau of Investigation to launch and investigation about the incident.

A member of the Philippine National Police (PNP) slammed Senator Risa Hontiveros for her statement over the incident involving the cops and retired soldier Corporal Winston Ragos. The latter lost his life on April 21.

Yesterday, Hontiveros urged the PNP and Commission on Human Rights (CHR) to investigate the cops who got involved in the incident, saying that there’s no excuse for ‘violence’ towards ‘persons with mental illness and powerless’.

The social media post of Hontiveros has gone viral and one of the netizens who commented is Police Officer Sam Laurente.

On his comment, Laurente defended the cops who faced Ragos, saying that they’re only defending themselves from the retired soldier who’s allegedly suffering from Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Laurente said that people like Hontiveros should also think that the life of the cops is important too.

The cop pointed out that the relatives of Ragos should not allow the retired soldier to leave his home if they’re aware with his present condition.

“I assume natin na kunwari wala siyang dalang granada? Tapos meron pala at nasawi ang pulis. Sasabihin, ‘salute to our fallen hero, you will be remembered’.

He also said that Hontiveros should just use her voice to encourage people to distribute relief goods instead of trying to get involved in the case of Ragos.

“Sana po mag voice out ka to help sa pagbibigay relief goods sa mahihirap, hindi yung mag iingay ka lang pag ganito ang situation. Wag tayong selective madam,” he said.

Lauren then made a sarcastic post addressed to the critics of the cops.

“So next time na may police operation. Magtatanong muna kami. Are you mentally challenged? If yes, raise your right hand. If no, the left so that we can decide if we will shoot you or not? Do you understand?” he said.

The comments of Lauren has gone viral on social media and received thousands of shares as of writing.

Netizen on Sen.

A netizen slammed Senator Risa Hontiveros after the latter criticized the move of the cops who got involved in an altercation with a retired member of the Philippine Army in Quezon City last Tuesday.

On April 21, Coporal Winston Ragos, 34, who’s according to his relatives was a Marawi Hero lost his life after his encounter with the members of the Philippine National Police (PNP).

Hontiveros is one of the politicians who rode the issue, urging the Commission on Human Rights and the PNP to investigate the incident.

“There is NEVER an excuse for brutality and violence, especially towards persons with mental illness and the powerless,” Hontiveros stated.

One netizen, Noel Landero Sarifa said that Hontiveros should be put in a community quarantine checkpoint so she could understand the dangers of being a cop frontliner amid the COVID-19 crisis.

Sarifa suggested that Hontiveros should not be given any self-defense weapon if ever that she agree to man the checkpoints.

It is very easy for you to say when your life is not put in danger, let’s literally put her in that situation and see if she would still have the same statement,” Sarifa said.

He also questioned Hontiveros why she didn’t released a statement when soldiers were being ambushed by the rebels if she really care about the welfare of the members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

The post of Sarifa already reached 800 shares as of writing.

Meanwhile, AFP Spokesperson Brig. Gen. Edgard Arevalo said the said incident should not become a reason to cause hostility between them and PNP.

“AFP Chief Gen. Felimon Santos, Jr. calls for sobriety. Let us not exacerbate the situation,” Arevalo said.

Senator Dela Rosa helping silently to the people affected by ECQ

While other public officials are being critized by the netizens for their sudden disappearance amid the COVID-19 crisis in the Philippines, one Senator who’s currently on self-quarantine decided to help silently .

A few weeks ago, several critics of Dela Rosa trended #NasanSiBato to ask the whereabouts of the popular Senator.

However, the critics were not aware that the team of Senator Ronald Dela Rosa visited several provinces in the Philippines to send relief goods, cooked food and personal protective equipment (PPEs) to hospitals and other places to assist the frontliners.

MMDA Spokesperson Celine Pialago also made a Facebook live video to inform the netizens that Sen. Dela Rosa doesn’t forget to help the Filipinos amid the crisis.

Sen. Bato couldn’t personally deliver the relief goods in different provinces because of the enhanced community quarantine rules and if he even insisted, his family would force him to stay at home.

In a Facebook post, Dela Rosa’s daughter, Marianne Kristel said that they locked up the Senator in his room because he insisted to go out.

“Sorry, Philippines if we had to keep him away from the public eye for a few days. He was exposed to ALL senators who tested positive so we had to tie him up to a chair, lock him in his room and isolate him from the rest of the world.” she said.

While being locked at home, Dela Rosa decided to do other things like cooking.

Dela Rosa is currently in Davao City, saying that he’s fortunate to catch a flight before the enhanced community quarantine started.

“Mabuti nakalipad pa ‘ko pauwi dito. Then after that, nagkaroon na ng enhanced community quarantine, so wala na, wala ng byahe,” he said in an interview on CNN Philippines.

Actress Angelica Panganiban regrets voting for President Duterte in 2016: “Patawarin niyo ako”

Actress Angelica Panganiban apologized to one of his follower for voting for President Rodrigo Duterte in 2016.

On April 1, Panganiban joined other celebrities from criticizing Duterte and the government for the subpoena sent by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto.

The actress questioned why the government was trying to target working public officials like Sotto. At the same time, politicians like Senator Aquilino ‘Koko’ Pimentel III, who became infamous for visiting Makati Medical Center on March 24, despite waiting for his COVID-19 results, remain free.

“Wala silang mapag initan. Si mayor vico talaga? Kung sino pa may natutulong at maayos na sistema, siya pa kakasuhan? HANEP! So far kasi yun palang nagagawa niya.

A follower then asked Panganiban if she already woke up from being ‘hypnotize’ by the Duterte magic in 2016.

The actress then made a surprising reply, confirming that she’s not a DDS anymore and apologized to the fan who asked her the question.

“Yes. Nakakalungkot. Pero oo. Patawarin niyo ko,” she said.

Duterte already denied that he’s involved on the NBI’s probe against Sotto.

“Yung kay Mayor Vico, isang beses lang ako nagsalita, yung nagproclaim ako ng [state of] emergency. Sabi ko, ‘wag ito, wag yan,'” he said.

Karamihan diyan mga abogado yan,” he added.

Panganiban is one of the celebrities who actively campaigned for Duterte in the 2016 presidential election.

(Thank you Byaheng DU30 for yesterday. Mabuhay kayo.” Panganiban said.

She even joined ‘Byaheng DU30’ event that led by Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte-Carpio.

Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) Spokesperson and Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles couldn’t stop his tears from falling down during a special episode of Wowowin on Tuesday while narrating the sacrifices of the COVID-19 frontliners in the country.

Nograles started to become emotional after Wowowin showed a video dedicated to the frontliners couldn’t touch their family because of social distancing and medical professionals who lost their lives because of the said virus.

“Yan yung hinaharap ng mga frontliners natin, naaawa ako,” Nograles said.

Wowowin’s host, Willie Revillame said that he knew that Nograles and the other members of the government were having difficulties in handling the COVID-19 crisis in the countries,

Revillame also praised Nograles for keeping his composure despite the criticisms and curse they received from the netizens.

Nograles expressed pity to the law enforcers, saying that some people treated them as an enemy instead of respecting them.

He reminded the public that law enforcers have families and also vulnerable from the virus.

Revillame said that he couldn’t understand why President Duterte is being criticized by some people.

Nograles then told Revillame that President Duterte is facing challenges now because of the crisis.

The Cabinet Secretary hoped that Filipinos would understand that the decisions by the government were difficult to make.

The said episode was watched by millions of Filipinos on social media.

Yesterday, Duterte met with health experts to decide if the government should end enhanced community quarantine or extend it.

The President made no decision during the said meeting.

Trillanes defends people going out despite ECQ: “Ang mga taong nasa labas ng bahay ay di agad pasaway”

Former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV said that people should not condemn the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) violators, believing that they have no choice but to go out of their houses because of some very important reasons.

In his Twitter post, Trillanes listed the possible reason why people were forced to violate the ECQ.

According to him, the violators may be required to go outside because of their work, or they just need to leave their homes because of the hot temperature.

Trillanes even said that some violators have no choice but to stay outside because they’re homeless.

3. Sa lansangan sila nktira,” Trillanes said.

“Bottomline, wag kayo mainis agad sa kanila,” he added.

Followers of Trillanes agreed with the former Senator’s thoughts.

Check your privileges before tagging people pasaway,” netizen @3samuels remarked.

Philippine National Police, on April 10 recorded 99,326 violators of ECQ.

Of that number, 58,051 were from Luzon; 18,124 came from Visayas; and 23,151 were from Mindanao.

To address the rising numbers of violators, President Rodrigo Duterte announced a martial law-like implementation of the ECQ rules.

The President also said that people caught gambling or drinking should not hope from any assistance from the government.

“Yung kayo nagsasabong at nag-iinuman, ibig sabihin may pera kayo. Do not expect any help from me.

There’s not enough (aid) to go around. Di talaga magkasya. We’re getting low sa supply ng pagkain. Ilang araw na ‘yung buong Pilipinas pinapakain mo,” he added.

“Nakakatakot!” Netizen shares how a PDEA Regional Director messages him on Facebook because of his online post

A netizen couldn’t believe that a high official from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) is going to message him on social media because of his post about ‘shabu’.

Netizen Laurence Almayda, a resident of Cavite on Monday shared his conversation with PDEA Region 10 Regional Director Wilkins Villanueva who saw his now-deleted post about his plan on his birthday.

“Sa Birthday ko, hindi alak titirahin natin kondi shabu,” Almayda said on his Facebook post which captured the attention of Dir. Villanueva.

Despite being warned by a high official from PDEA, Almayda still attempted to joke, saying that ‘shabu’ helps him to solve his personal problems.

However, Villanueva didn’t take Almayda’s message as a joke and told the netizen that he’s going to hunt him soon.

Villanueva then ordered Almayda to apologize about his previous post so the netizens would not imitate what he did.

The PDEA Director said that posting about shabu should not be made as a joke as it already destroyed many lives.

Almayda then tried to check the Facebook profile of Villanueva, confirming that he’s indeed a regional director of PDEA and a graduate of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA).

He even saw a photo of Villanueva together with former Philippine National Police Director General and now Senator Ronald Dela Rosa.

Almayda said that his encounter with Villanueva might be the scariest part of his life.

Fortunately, it seems that the regional director already accepted his apology and just reminded him to stay at home.

The post of Almayda already reached 43,000 shares as of writing.
