Bianca Umali, admits converting to Iglesia ni Cristo because of Ruru Madrid: “It is a personal choice”

Netizens were surprised after Kapuso actress Bianca Umali revealed that she already converted to another religion to follow her current partner Ruru Madrid.

It can be recalled that Ruru is a member of Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) and in an interview in “Updated with Nelson Canlas” podcast, Bianca admitted that she also embraced the belief of the actor.

However, Bianca denied that she converted to INC because of her love for Ruru.

“First of all, yes, isa na po akong ganap na Iglesia ni Kristo. But I don’t think I would have it fall under the category of things you do for love or these things that I do for love.” she said.

“Kasi yung pagiging Iglesia ko, yung pag-convert ko is something that is very personal to me. It is a personal choice and not a choice I made just because in love ako sa isang tao,” she added.

According to her, she started to realize her plan to change her religion on her 20th birthday.

“I knew that God has always been in my life. He has always guided me. He has always been with me—holding my hand. Hindi niya ako pinabayaan, even though I wasn’t this close to Him and alam kong marami rin akong pagkakamali noon sa Kaniya,” she explained.

“And when I discovered my faith, which is where Ruru comes in… hindi dahil sa kaniya kaya ako nag-convert pero naging instrumento siya para maipakilala sa akin yung religion at maipakita sa akin yung daan kung saan tinawag ako para mapalapit ako sa Diyos,”

Last year, Bianca and Ruru admitted that they were in a relationship after dating for four years.

Hindi mapigilan ng beteranong kolumnista na si Cristy Fermin na mangigil sa taong nagbulong sa kanyang anak-anakan na si Willie Revillame.

Matatandaan sa kanyang paghingi ng tawad nitong Pebrero , sinabi ni Revillame na mayroong nagbulong sa kanya tungkol sa diumano’y pahayag ni Fermin na tinawag siyang ‘mayabang’ kaya naman hindi nito napigilan na batikusin ang kolumnista sa telebisyon.

“Napain lang ako eh, may nagsabi sakin na ‘akala ko ba nanay mo yang si Cristy Fermin, bakit sinabi na ang yabang yabang mo daw’ so parang na-ano na ko dahil ganoon na ‘yung mga dumadating.” paliwanag ni Revillame.

Ayon kay Fermin ay pansamantalang pinaalis sa programa ni Revillame ang nasabing nagsulsol sa televion host.

An Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) in Kuwait couldn’t hide her sadness after she saw the money she sent to her family go to waste.

In her social media post, domestic helper @lovelyflowers40 shared a video showing the status of her house after years of sending money to her family.

In the video she posted, it can be shown that her house didn’t even improve after years of working hard and trusting her husband that they would even spend some of her remittances to improve their home.

It showed that the house was almost empty and some parts of the house were broken already.

According to the netizen, she worked for four years abroad to support her family and send money to her husband.

“Kaya payo lng sa mga ka tulad ko.. Iponin nyu nalang Pera nyu Kung wla kayung mkapagkatiwalaan…” the netizen said.

Several netizens who watched the video online said they were alarmed by the music video’s content featuring several models, influencers, and vloggers having a party.

They even noticed that one of the influencers who appeared in the music video and could be seen drinking was pregnant in real life.

In a Facebook post, the said influencer XBreezy Babe Papi addressed the netizens’ concerns and explained that she was not drinking real alcohol during the production of the music video.

She even posted several pieces of evidence, including photos and footage taken during the preparation of the music video.

It can be seen that several people who were part of the production of the MV were putting iced tea into a bottle of a known alcoholic drink.

In the report posted by Brigada Mati City, they featured the story of Cecar Turibio who formerly being called ‘Carla’ by his friends in the past.

According to Cecar, since young, he already knew that he was gay and decided to wear dresses for ladies.

He also had a relationship with several men and even lived with them without the knowledge of his family.

“May boyfriend ako noon, yung una dalawang taon kahigit kami. ‘Yon din ang dahilan nakarating ako ng Davao City na hindi alam ng mga magulang ko.” Cecar shared.

Cecar shared that his failed relationships with men pushed him to decide to leave his gay life and build a family with his current partner.

Former Willing Willie dancer April ‘Congratulations’ Gustilo came to defend her former boss Willie Revillame from the criticisms being thrown against him.

Revillame received support from Gustilo and urged the television host to ignore his critics.
