The music video of influencer Toni Fowler became controversial because of its mature nature.
Several netizens who watched the video online said they were alarmed by the music video’s content featuring several models, influencers, and vloggers having a party.
They even noticed that one of the influencers who appeared in the music video and could be seen drinking was pregnant in real life.
In a Facebook post, the said influencer XBreezy Babe Papi addressed the netizens’ concerns and explained that she was not drinking real alcohol during the production of the music video.
She even posted several pieces of evidence, including photos and footage taken during the preparation of the music video.
It can be seen that several people who were part of the production of the MV were putting iced tea into a bottle of a known alcoholic drink.
“Kahit buntis ako ngayon ay di naging hadlang yun para suportahan ko sya sa mga bagay na gusto nyang gawin sa buhay,” she said. “Ako pa nga ang nagpilit na sumama sa MV ng MPL kahit na buntis ako dahil alam kong matagal nya na gustong gawin tong kantang to, nataon lang talaga na buntis ako ngayon,”
“Laking pasasalamat ko rin sa kanya dahil nag adjust sila ng sobra lalo na when it comes sa mga props na ginamit namin such as inumin na nakita nyo sa mv. Makikita nyo naman sa pictures sa baba na props lang yung bote pero ice tea lang naman talaga ang laman nyan,” she added.
Fans of Babe Papi were relieved by the influencer’s explanation, but some were still concerned by the music video’s content.
