An Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) in Kuwait couldn’t hide her sadness after she saw the money she sent to her family go to waste.
In her social media post, domestic helper @lovelyflowers40 shared a video showing the status of her house after years of sending money to her family.
In the video she posted, it can be shown that her house didn’t even improve after years of working hard and trusting her husband that they would even spend some of her remittances to improve their home.
It showed that the house was almost empty and some parts of the house were broken already.
According to the netizen, she worked for four years abroad to support her family and send money to her husband.
“Kaya payo lng sa mga ka tulad ko.. Iponin nyu nalang Pera nyu Kung wla kayung mkapagkatiwalaan…” the netizen said.
“Sa lahat na nag comments Lalo na sa mga kapwa ko ofw, Sana may nakuha kayo na aral dito, subrang sakit matagal din bago ko na tanggap,salamat sa inyu,” she added.
The netizen said that she already decided to leave her husband because of what happened.
“Hiwalay na talaga kami ng asawa ko, dun na ko sa mama ko.” she said.

The video received millions of views online and some OFWs also expressed their sadness after seeing the situation of @lovelyflowers40.
“Kabayan mas ok na ikaw ung mag ipon kaysa ipaasa mo sa iba ung pinag hirapan mo,” a follower of the OFW said.
“Yan po Ang sinasabi nlng wag ipadala lhat para dika magsisi” oh Ikaw mismo Ang mag ipon para pag uwe mo Ikaw mismo Ang magpapagawa,” another netizen commented.
