Rosmar Tan admits that she enhanced her appearance by the help of science

One of the most influential beauty line CEO in the country, Rosemarie “Rosmar” Tan finally admitted to the public that she used the power of science to enhance her appearance.

In a video, Tan announced that she went to a procedure to enhance her nose.

However, she didn’t directly admit that she enhanced her whole face.

“Para sa mga nagsabing retokada ako noo, pahiya kayo, ngayon lang,” Rosmar said.

“Sabi ko naman sainyo pag nagparetokeee ako iannounce ko, HAHAHA mahirap kasi umamin noon kung di naman totoo binibintaaang nyo HAHAHA,” she added.

Some netizens gave their response to the message of Rosmar:

“Hindi nmn na need mag pa retoke dahil superrrrr Ganda mo naman,” netizen bhebegirl said.

“Bakit po??? Mas maganda ka sa natural,” nmetizen Nashi remarked.

“Ok na sayu maam rosemar kahit di kana mag paretoke magnda kapadin,” netizen Jennelyn commented.

It can be recalled that the old photos of Rosmar that were taken when she was still a small business owner circulated on social media.

John Regala’s retirement became a lesson to every netizen who was aware of his story.

Regala who’s called the “Bad Boy” of Philippine action films appeared in more than 100 movies and he was supposed to be wealthy after his career as an action star.

However, the former actor became viral on social media several times because of his financial difficulties after his retirement.

Regala who’s having health problems sometimes couldn’t afford to buy medication so he was forced to ask the public for help.

In an interview, Regala shared that he learned his lesson a hard way so he wanted to remind the new generation of celebrities not to be like him.

According to him, celebrities should save a lot while they’re still capable of working so they’re ready for any worst-case scenario.

Regala said: “Matuto kayong mag-ipon habang bata pa kayo, habang may trabaho pa kayo. Lahat tayo tatanda at lahat tayo magkakasakit. Hindi habang buhay malakas tayo at hindi habang buhay andyan yung taong tinutulungan mo noong marami ka pang pera.” 

It can be remembered that Regala also shared that the people who received help from him in the past, including his relatives already abandoned him.

Right now Regala had difficulties in asking for help from his friends from showbiz after his issue with a group of celebrities who volunteered to raise funds for him.

“Wala na rin akong kamag-anak. Magmula nung pumanaw yung nanay ko, itinakwil na rin ako ng mga kamag-anak ko. Dahil wala na silang mapapala sa akin.” he shared.

Meanwhile, the remaining fans of the former actor were still hoping that Regala would overcome his problems.

As of writing, Regala was still required to take his medications because of his health problems.

MTRCB chairperson Lala Sotto, may matinding babala kay Toni Fowler dahil sa music video nito

Nagbabala ang chairperson ng Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MRTCB) na si Lala Sotto na huwag na sana pang idamay ni Toni Fowler ang pangalan ng ahensya sa kanyang mga pahayag.

Ito’y matapos na sabihin ni Toni na hindi naman niya binuksan para sa lahat ang kanyang music video na ‘MPL’ na nababalot ngayon ng kontrobersiya dahil sa sensitibong laman nito.

Mismong si Sotto na ang nagbigay ng kanyang mensahe kay Fowler at sinabi na hindi nila maaring sabihin na ‘Rated SPG’ ang kanilang music video lalo na’t hindi naman ito dumaan sa MTRCB.

Kung dumaan rin naman daw ito sa MTRCB ay hindi ito makakatanggap ng SPG kundi rated X.

“Somebody who was part of the video had that the video was rated SPG (Strictly Parental Guidance). They should refrain from saying that because, the SPG belongs to the classification system of the MTRCB. And it never went through the MTRCB,” ayon kay Sotto.

“Had it gone through the MTRCB, it would never receive an SPG. We would have given that an X rating,” dagdag pa niya.

Matatandaan na sinabi ng MTRCB na hindi nila saklaw ang mga video na ipinapalabas sa mga social media platforms at streaming sites kaya naman hinimok nila ang mga netizens na magsanib pwersa at i-report ang mga palabas na pinaniniwalaan nilang ‘rated X’.

Samantala ay sinabi naman ni Fowler na hindi totoong alak ang ininom ng kasama nila sa music video na si XBreezy Babe Papi na nagdadalang tao.

“Actually nag-post na rin si Papi tungkol dito, ‘yung kasama ko sa bahay. Kasi ang daming nagsasabi na bakit ganon, naturingang buntis pinainom ko ng alak,” paliwanag ni Fowler.

“Nilaro lang po nila ‘yung juice and ‘yung tubig para magkakulay. Hindi ko po gagawin na isama ang isang buntis na tao at painumin po ng alak para lang sa music video ko,” dagdag niya pa.

Nagtataka naman ang mga netizens kung bakit tila umatras ang buntot ni Fowler matapos maglabas ng pahayag ang MTRCB.

Nitong nakaraan lamang ay tila ikinatuwa pa ng influencer ang kanyang natatanggap na pambabatikos at sinabi na pinapayaman lamang siya ng kanyang mga kritiko.

Boss MG defends Boy Tapang from LJ Satterfield: “Angelic face pero demonyo sa loob”

Influencer Boss MG Wazzup Man defended his friend Ronnie Suan, popularly known as ‘Boy Tapang’ amid the issue being faced by the latter after he feuded with influencer LJ Satterfield.

It can be recalled that Ronnie and LJ went viral on social media after they admitted that they’re not couples but only trying to create content on social media.

However, Ronnie admitted that he fell for the beauty of LJ, but he discovered that the Filipino-American influencer had a boyfriend already.

In his video, Boss MG believed that LJ used Ronnie and manipulated the 23-year-old vlogger so she could become famous on social media.

MG who’s known for criticizing several influencers online said that LJ had no remorse for what she did and even enjoyed the criticisms she was receiving because it made her famous.

“Ngayon lang ako nakakita ng ganyang klaseng tao.. Nakakagimbal yan, mas nakakagimbal pa yan sa music video ni Toni Fowler, mas nakakatakot ‘yan kasi angelic face tapos demonyo.. as in mangagamit at demonyo,” he said.

He expressed his sympathy to Ronnie because he knew that the latter was known for being innocent.

“Naawa ako sa kaibigan ko, sobrang nakakaawa pero wala tayong magagawa.” he said.

MG also warned LJ that she would face her counterpart in the future.

“Makakahanap ka rin ng katapat mo.” MG stated.

Kylie Padilla confirms that AJ Raval is not the cause of her separation with Aljur Abrenica: “Magulo na kami before pa ang lahat”

AJ Raval defended herself from the critics several days after she finally admitted her relationship with Aljur Abrenica.

Some netizens accused the Vivamax artist of being the reason why her boyfriend got separated from his ex-partner Kylie Padilla.

To prove that there’s no feud between her and Kylie, AJ posted a photo of her conversation together with the actress.

In the said photo, it can be seen that AJ seems expressing her dismay over the criticisms she was receiving from the netizens despite not being aware of the whole story.

“I do respect you pero gusto ko na lang din manahimik mga tao and tigil na sila sa kakahuli samin nanawa na rin ako hehe. I hope everything is fine,” AJ told Kylie.

Kylie then responded: “Okay naman ikaw? It’s fine ano ka ba. Wala namang issue sakin. Di naman ikaw ang naging problems namin sa relationship namin before. Di ko rin alam paano gagawin sa sitwasyon. Pinaliwanag ko naman na sa mga tao na hindi ka 3rd party. Hay.” 

In the said conversation, Kylie also admitted that she was already having problems with Aljur even before AJ arrived at the actor’s life.

Kylie also shared that she’s thinking of some way to convince the public that there’s no feud between both parties.

“Magulo na kami before pa ng lahat eh. Magulo lang talaga. Baka may way para maipakita natin na okay naman na ang lahat. Mag iisip ako ng paraan kasi ayoko din y’ung nangyayari. Nag cacause ng stress of both sides na pwede naman maging ok tayo. Gusto ko mag thank you na inalagaan mo mga babies ko.” she said.

AJ Raval denies that she’s a homewrecker: “Hanapin kung sino ba talaga nanira!”

Vivamax princess AJ Raval has had enough of the netizens who were accusing her of being the reason why her boyfriend Aljur Abrenica and actress Kylie Padilla separated.

It can be recalled that on February 14, AJ and Aljur finally admitted their relationship, confirming the rumors that they’re already dating in 2021 just months after the actor announced his separation from Kylie.

On her social media page, AJ answered one of her critics who called her ‘kabit’ and ‘mang-aagaw’ for being in a relationship with Aljur.

The actress denied that she was the reason why the said celebrity couple decided to end their relationship.

“Madam, FYI walang inagaw, at along wala kaming nilokong tao alam yan ni Kylie, kung sira man family nila, one thing is for sure HINDI AKO ANG NANIRA NG FAMILY NILA.

“Bakit hindi nyo na lang I research or hanapin kung sino ba talaga nanira? Bakit ako ang sumasalo ng kasalanan na hindi ko ginawa?” she stated.

AJ also said that the criticisms she was receiving were unfair because Kylie reportedly had a partner already.

“May asawa ba? hiwalay LITERAL na hiwalay uulitin ko HIWALAY LITERAL NA HIWALAY.. SOo pag si Aljur nagkaron ng partner kasalanan na? Pag si Kylie nagkaroon ng partner deserve nya maging masaya? E pareho lang naman sila.” she stated.

As of writing, Kylie has yet to give a response to AJ’s statement.

It can be remembered that last January, Kylie already hinted at her relationship with an artist during her travel abroad.

Pokwang is not yet done with criticizing her former husband Lee O’Brian.

In her Instagram story, the Kapuso comedian took a swipe against Lee and his current partner calling them ‘2 id**ts’.

She even tagged the IG account of her daughter Malia so she could read her message against the American actor.

“My ex is somewhere telling his new girlfriend how bad I was and she’s smiling thinking she’s made it in life. Two id**ts,” Pokwang said.

The post of Pokwang received different reactions from the netizens and some questioned the comedian why she was trying to involve her daughter in her feud with Lee.

It can be recalled that Pokwang couldn’t hide her emotion after she realized that even Malia already saw the new partner of Lee.

“Sinundo ko yung bata, galing akong Dumaguete. Sabi ng bata, ‘there’s a lady talking to Dad with the same color of your skin,’” Pokwang narrated.

Fans of Maria Clara at Ibarra get distracted by Torre de Manila: “Nakakabwisit yung building!”

GMA’s top-rated show Maria Clara at Ibarra has been watched by millions of netizens worldwide in its last week.

The said show was based on the story of national hero Jose Rizal’s novel Noli Me Tángere and El Filibusterismo.

It featured Klay Infantes (Barbie Forteza), a Gen-Z nursing student who gets transported into the setting of Rizal’s two books.

During one of its episodes, Klay can be seen crying in front of the monument of Rizal.

While the said scene was emotional, some netizens couldn’t stop noticing the controversial building ‘Torre de Manila’ in the background.

Some netizens expressed their disappointment on social media after seeing the distraction in the scene.

It also revived the petition to demolish the said building, believing that it was not supposed to be there.

“Exactly what i was telling my kids just a couple of days ago when we passed by Luneta Park. Nakakalungkot. This is a sign of disrespect. Sana i demolish ang condo n yan.” netizen Pam commented.

“Kasalanan nyan ng LGU ng manila during that time na nag bigay ng permit para mabuo yan.. baka malaki ata ang bigay kaya pinayagan,” netizen Jordan said.

A netizen also believed that the government has the authority to demolish the said building.

“Sa tingin ko kaya ipademolish ng government yang building under the doctrine of eminent domain. Ang sabi sa doktrina, the sovereign can do anything, if the act of sovereign involves public interest. The doctrine empowers the sovereign to acquire private land for a public use, provided the public nature of the usage can be demonstrated beyond doubt.” netizen Gary remarked.

Meanwhile, another fan tried to edit out the building from the background.

It can be recalled that even the family of Rizal wanted the building to be demolished because it became an eyesore to the visitors of Luneta Park.

Torre de Manila’s construction started in 2012 and was halted temporarily because of the petition to stop its building.

In 2017, the court ruled in favor of Torre de Manila’s developer and the attempts to stop its construction failed.

Veteran journalist Jay Sonza couldn’t understand why some filmmakers were trying to use Director Darryl Yap’s name to promote their own movies.

It can be recalled that veteran filmmaker Joel Lamangan and Yap exchanged heated messages against each other while promoting their own martial law films.

Lamangan claimed that Yap was trying to compete with his movie, while the latter urged the legendary director to stop lying to the people.

Sonza gave his thoughts on the said issue, saying that they should stop using the project of others to promote their own.

“Why can’t they promote their own movies by telling people how good their movie is? Why can’t they tell the audience how great their thespians are in the projection of their assigned characters? Bakit kailangan sakyan nila ang tagumpay ng ibang pelikula? Ano? Para mapag-usapan sila, pero nilalangaw pa rin iyong kanilang pelikula sa takilya!” Sonza said.

Kakampink lawyer Jesus Falcis gives 1/5 star to ‘Ako Si Ninoy’: “Sayang pera. Mahal ang ticket.”

It seems that even opposition supporters were not impressed by the newest movie of Atty. Vince Tañada titled ‘Ako Si Ninoy’.

In a lengthy review, Kakampink lawyer Jesus Falcis gave 1 out of 5 stars to the said movie about the life of late Sen. Ninoy Aquino Jr.

Falcis urged his followers not to waste their money to watch ‘Ako Si Ninoy’, saying that some of the scenes of the said movie were cringeworthy and illogical.

“It doesn’t have a message. Ninoy Aquino is a hero, yes. But the movie keeps telling that. It doesn’t show it. We already know Ninoy is a hero. But why? I thought it was basic to know that when persuading people, show; don’t tell.” Falcis said.

He also mentioned a scene where Juan Karlos Labajo who was portraying Aquino in the said movie sang his one and only popular song ‘Buwan’.

“The second scene was so bad and cringe. JK Labajos sang to a light bulb!!! TO A LIGHT BULB. Para mapilit yung “sa ilalim ng puting ilaw, sa dilaw na buwan.” the lawyer stated.

Falcis questioned the decision of Tañada to put Ferdinand Marcos Sr. the nemesis of Aquino in the said movie.

“What the film doesn’t understand is that in history, you won’t have a Ninoy Aquino without a Ferdinand Marcos. They are like Batman and Joker. A hero needs a foil. A hero is made, not born. But the movie just wants to keep telling (so boringly and repetitively) that Ninoy is a hero and that he is destined to be a hero.” Falcis said.

As of writing Tañada has yet to give a comment to the said review of Falcis.
