Willie Revillame launches internal investigation to find the ‘Judas’ who leaks his alleged audio recording

Television host Willie Revillame launched a loyalty check to all of his employees after an alleged audio recording of him circulated in public.

According to columnist Cristy Fermin, the said audio recording was taken secretly while Revillame was fuming during the height of the accusations being thrown against him.

In the said audio recording that was also published by Fermin’s online show, it can be heard the man scolding his staff saying that he can still have a show without them.

Fermin’s co-host Rommel Chika then shared that Revillame started to find his disloyal staff.

The columnist then shared that the main target of Revillame during the investigation was the one who allegedly recorded him secretly.

Meanwhile another co-host of Fermin, Wendell Alvarez said that he understood the reason why Revillame wanted to investigate his own staff.

As of writing, Revillame has yet to respond to the issue about his alleged audio recording.

Sen. Robin Padilla fumes over Director Mark Meily: “Hindi ko gustong pumapalakpak ka, e. This is my hearing!”

Senator Robin Padilla lectured Directors Guild of the Philippines, Inc. (DGPI) President Mark Meily for being allegedly disrespectful during the hearing on Committee on Public Information and Mass Media Thursday, February 23.

In the said hearing, Padilla discussed the petition to ban Gerald Butler’s movie ‘Plane’ because of its bad portrayal of Jolo, Sulu, and Muslims.

Padilla started to fume after he noticed Meily clapping several times during the hearing.

According to him, the issue was not funny because Muslim people were affected by the movie Plane and it may also discourage tourists the visit the country, especially Sulu.

It can be recalled that Meily opposed the decision to ban ‘Plane’ because the movie was only fictional.

However, Padilla said that the names mentioned in the movie including Jolo were not fiction.

Jolo is not fiction. Philippines is not fiction. Lugar namin yun. Padilla said.

“The Muslims will never accept that this movie is fiction. Maybe for you, but for us, no. Because, terrorism is never a part of our religion.” he added.

Meily attempted to correct their stance, but Padilla didn’t let him speak.

“Pumapalakpak ka, bawal dito. Kanina pa ako kumakalma sa inyo. Hindi ko gustong pumapalakpak ka, e. This is my hearing!” the actor-turned senator stated.

The director then apologized for his actions during the hearing.

Padilla said.

After the hearing, Padilla apologized to Maeily for their heated exchange.

Direktor Erik Matti expressed dismay to John Arcilla for not mentioning his name after receiving best actor award: “Bastos kayo!”

Director Erik Matti couldn’t hide his dismay at John Arcilla and Star Magic Management for not mentioning him during the actor’s speech after receiving the ‘Best Actor Award’ at the recent 78th Venice International Film Festival.

In his Instagram post, Matti aired his message against Arcilla who didn’t mention his name and the movie that became the reason why he won the said award.

It can be recalled that Arcilla won the said award for being the cast of Matti’s movie On the Job: The Missing 8.

Matti said.

Matti said that Arcilla didn’t forget to mention his sponsors, but not the movie that made him win the award.

Because of that, the veteran director called Arcilla ‘disrespectful’.

“Lahat ng sponsor mo sa derma at diet mo minention mo yung movieng nagpanalo sayo di mo masabi?!! Bastos kayo!” he said.

AJ Raval may face charges for sharing her private conversation with Kylie Padilla

AJ Raval went viral on social media on February 22 after she defended herself from the criticisms she was receiving from netizens accusing her of being the ‘mistress’ of Aljur Abrenica.

The two already announced their relationship in public last Valentine’s Day, confirming the rumors about their real status.

Aj insisted that she was not the reason why Aljur and his former partner Kylie Padilla got separated.

She even posted a screen capture of her conversation with Kylie, telling her that she was not the reason for their separation.

However, some netizens questioned Aj’s decision to share her private conversation with Kylie.

Even the ‘King of Talk’ Boy Abunda became curious if what Aj did had consequences.

In the episode of “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda” last Friday, Abunda consulted Atty. Lorna Kapunan to discuss issues on sharing private conversations in public.

According to Abunda, Aj may face charges if ever she shared her conversation with Kylie without permission from the Kapuso actress.

However, the television host believed that Kylie has no interest in responding to the actions of Aj.

“Nanay, Tatay, Kapuso, lalo na ang mga bagets, ‘pag halimbawa mayroon kang private conversation na ipinost mo tapos walang permiso ‘yung iyong kausap, that’s illegal and that’s improper. ‘Pag may malice ‘yung conversation, you can be sued for cyber libel.” Abunda said.

“In the case of AJ, she used it to prove, to defend. It looks like naman na wala namang reklamo si Kylie doon sa pag-post ni AJ.” he added.

Abunda also reminded the netizens to be careful with sharing private conversations in public.

“But she posted a conversation na hindi natin alam kung may permiso si AJ Raval kay Kylie Padilla, that we don’t know. Na you have no right to post, this is not about AJ Raval anymore, para sa atin po ito.” the host said.

‘Pag may private conversation ka sa social media, ‘pag walang permiso ang iyong kausap at ipinost mo ‘yung screenshot, it is not only improper. It is illegal. ‘Pag may malice, you can be sued for cyber libel.” he also said.

As of writing, Kylie has yet to respond to the issue being faced by Aj.

Laos na? Ogie Diaz expresses sadness over the Liza Soberano’ fading career: “Pinaghirapan naming lahat ito”

Atty. Topacio reminds Nicole Laurel Asensio of ‘Ako Si Ninoy’ on how the ‘yellows’ treated her grandfather badly

‘Ako Si Ninoy’ actress Nicole Laurel Asensio received a reminder from a lawyer telling her about the relationship of her grandfather former Vice President Salvador Laurel to former President Cory Aquino and to the ‘yellows’.

In his tweet, Atty. Ferdinand Topacio asked Asensio if Asensio was aware of how her grandfather received bad treatment from his supposed-to-be allies before accepting being cast in a movie about former Sen. Nino Aquino Jr.

“Just wondering: what is @NicoleAsensio doing running around with the same group of Yellowlalos that treated his grandfather Doy so badly? You were a little girl then, Nicole, but you should have seen what they did to Tito Doy when he was VP.” Topacio said.

It can be recalled that Laurel became the running mate of Aquino during the 1986 presidential election to oppose the reelection of former President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

However, Laurel left the administration in 1987 due to differences in moral principles with Aquino.

A letter written by the former Vice President to Aquino also went viral on social media many times.

In the said letter, Laurel said that under the Aquino administration “the nation has gone from bad to worse”.

“We promised our people morality and decency in government. What do we have instead? The very opposite.” Laurel said.

“The truth is that the peace and order situation is much worse today than when you came into office. It is now the number one problem of the nation.” he also said.

Granddaughter of Salvador Laurel, Nicole Asensio denies being a ‘dilawan’ despite being part of ‘Ako si Ninoy’

The granddaughter of former Vice President Salvador Laurel denied that she was aligning herself with the opposition despite being part of ‘Ako Si Ninoy’ movie.

Laurel portrayed the character Ms. Nunez, a teacher who supported students’ rights.

On February 24, Nicole Laurel Asensio answered the post of Atty. Ferdinand Topacio asked her if she was aware of how the ‘yellows’ treated the former Vice President when they came to power.

In her comments, Asensio denied that she aligned herself with the yellows and she was aware of her grandfather’s hardship.

“I grew up with my grandfather My family knows I did this film. Direk knows I am not yellow. If you want to create intrigue, talk to my family for clarification. Hi mom Iwi Laurel,” Nicole said.

She also urged the netizens not to label her as yellow.

“I know where I stand… don’t paint me colors that I am not,” she also stated.

It can be recalled that Laurel left the administration of former President Cory Aquino because of differences.

In an interview, Laurel who was supposed to run against Marcos in the 1986 elections also expressed regret after giving way and supporting Aquino in her presidency.

Relatives and friends of Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo’s ex-boyfriend Neil Salvacion couldn’t stop themselves from criticizing the beauty queen after her interview with Boy Abunda on February 21.

It can be remembered that Mateo claimed that she refused the wedding proposal from Salvacion who was her longtime boyfriend during that time because she wanted to focus on helping her family first.

“I think this is the first time na sasabihin ko sa TV, but he proposed to me, and I was so young that time, I wasn’t ready. I have a lot of dreams for my family and during that time he was ready to settle na and feeling niya okay na siya sa buhay. Pero ako I want to aspire to be more. Doon kami nagkaroon ng conflict,” she said.

However, the brother of Salvacion denied the claims of the beauty queen, saying that Mateo accepted the proposal of her ex-boyfriend.

The true reason, according to the brother of Salvacion was the ‘sin’ made by Mateo when she joined Miss Universe Philippines 2020.

“For the fame po, ma’am. Handang manira ng nananahimik na tao.” Salvacion’s brother said.

“You don’t have to do this to someone who has been so proud to claim you as your other half before.” he also said.

He was also wondering why Mateo never kept her mouth shut about Salvacion despite having a new boyfriend already.

Some of the relatives and close friends of Salvacion expressed support for him and called Mateo a ‘liar’ and used the name of her ex to become relevant again.

“hahaha……. gagawin na lahat para sa career…. booom panes……. more kwento pa gurl…..” netizen Shenna said.

“Napanuod ko tong episode nya, and nasusuka talaga ko sa kanya.” another netizen said.

As of writing, Mateo has yet to give her response to the relatives of her ex.
