Actor Markus Peterson expressed regrets after leaving the United Kingdom to live in the Philippines to become an artist.

In an interview, Markus said that while his career as an actor in the Philippines flourished, he still regrets living there for some reasons.

According to him, he wanted to become part of the military or a pilot, not an actor.

“Yung biggest regret ko talaga, feeling ko is making the decision to move here sa Pilipinas,” the actor said.

“Iniwan ko ‘yung tatay ko na matanda na, mag-isa lang sa UK. Doon talaga ‘yung lahat ng pangarap ko… maging piloto, maging military kagaya ng tatay ko. Never ako nangarap maging artista.” he added.

He said living in the Philippines affected him mentally, and he learned his bad habits while staying there.

“Wala akong balak talaga tumira dito, everything happened so fast. [dito] ko na-pick up lahat ng bisyo ko,” he said.

Markus revealed that if he has no child in the Philippines, he might already stay in the UK to pursue his dreams.

It can be remembered that Markus had a child with Kapamilya actress Janella Salvador.

Markus started his showbiz career in the Philippines in 2016 and is also a former professional football player.

Eric Quizon, the son of the Philippines’ late King of Comedy Dolphy, criticized a seller of whisky that was using the image of his father.

In his post, Quizon posted a notice to the public saying that the brand ‘Banayad Whisky’ has no permission to use the image of the late King of Comedy.

“As a shown in the photograph above and/or any product or merchandise having the same brand, is NOT ASSOCIATED, AFFILIATED, OR CONNECTED with RODOLFO “DOLPHY” VERA QUIZON and/or the heirs of DOLPHY.” Quizon said.

“Any complaint or transaction related to BANAYAD WHISKY shall not be acknowledged by the heirs of Dolphy,” he added.

According to Quizon, they already talked to the people behind the said product but became unresponsive later on after the heirs of Dolphy demanded the company to stop selling the whisky.

This serves as a warning to all. This bootleg seller is using my dad’s image and banayad whisky, which are patented and with copyrights. At first, they cooperated with us but stop communicating when the Quizons demanded them to stop selling,” Quizon wrote.

“We have filed a case against,” he added.

This is not the first time that the people behind Banayad Whisky Company faced issues.

In February 2023, FDA Philippines released a warning against the said product, saying that Banayad Whisky was included in their unregistered goods.

The product was inspired by Dolphy’s movie 1995 Father & Son, where the comedian was seen advertising the fictional whisky brand in one of its scenes.

A woman couldn’t hide her disappointment after realizing that the one who should take care of her amid her condition was the one lying to her.

In a Facebook post, netizen Bianca showed the screencap of the conversation between her now ex-boyfriend and another woman.

According to Bianca, she discovered the infidelity of her ex-boyfriend while she was in the emergency room.

“Nahuli na, umisa pa.hirap maging mabait. Dalawa ulo pero walang utak Lennard Lutuaco partida alam na bawal ako ma stress tapos ganyan pa makipag bonding. Katabi ko yan gabi gabi tas ganyan ginagawa. Ayos talaga nasa E.R. pa ko nung nabasa ko yan,” Bianca said.

In the said screencaps, the two were calling each other ‘love’ already and planning to meet each other.

 

Meanwhile, the woman who were chatting with Bianca’s ex-boyfriend defended herself, denying that she was flirting with the man.

“Atsaka diko naman siya nilalandi,” the woman said.

The post has already reached 18,000 shares as of writing.

Last April 13, Bianca shared her condition with his friends, saying that her condition was risky.

“Soooo dito nalang ako mag u-update kasi kapagod kung isa isahin ko mga nangangamusta medyo madami kayo, isa lang ako sowi, eto na nga mga bhie binigyan ako 2 choices nung mga doctors ang sabi pwedeng i surgery/tanggalin yung bukol sa utak ko pero may chance na di na ko magising after, kasi medyo maselan yung pwestuhan nya sa utak ko yung isang choice naman is di gagalawin pero ganito parin ako di makakalakad or tayo parang nasa pic lang ang peg ko.” she said.

Claudine Barretto received criticism on social media after some netizens expressed concern over the feelings of the actress’ son Santino.

It can be recalled that Claudine posted a rare photo of her son despite telling her not to post it.

“Wow Finally, he agreed to have his picture taken with me. I promised not to post this, though,” Claudine said.

The photo had already reached millions of views on social media which made the netizens worry about why Claudine still posted the photo of her son despite his opposition.

“If you promised not to post, then don’t. Respect your child’s request. This is important to him at this stage. Don’t ruin the trust,” a netizen told Claudine.

However, Claudine insisted that Santino had already allowed her to post his photo.

Claudine already deleted the said photo, so many netizens suspected that Santino already felt bad after his photo had been seen by millions.

A netizen also defended Santino from netizens who said that he was just being dramatic.

Beth Wilson, the sister of model Maggie Wilson-Consunji could hide her dismay at having no chance to see or talk to her nephew Connor.

In an Instagram story, Beth shared her messages to Connor, who’s not responding to her messages anymore since billionaire Victor Consunji, the husband of her sister, started to accuse his wife of adultery.

“When you haven’t been able to see or talk to your nephew since January, and then you see other people just casually posting a photo while other people are hurting! Do some people just have no feelings at all? My heart breaks and I can only imagine how much my sisters heart aches!” Beth wrote.

“Not only have we not been able to see Connor but this situation has also been very hard to see my sister as a family given her situation! I work in Riyadh and our dad works in Jeddah and our mum in Manila and the few times we get to see each other is in Manila for the Holidays and in the past few years that has not been possible because my sister cant come home. Businessman Joel Cruz answered the question from some netizens who were curious if he was considering marrying the surrogate mother of his eight children.

Joel has eight children via surrogacy, and the eggs that used to achieve that came from Lilia, a tall and beautiful Russian national with a high IQ.

The businesswoman who owned the local perfume brand Afficionado met Lilia several times, so netizens were asking if there were a chance for the two to become husband and wife.

However, Joel, who’s openly gay, said that there’s no chance for him to marry Lilia.

“I have no plan to marry the mother of my children because it was a program called InVitro Fertilization or Surrogacy wherein the biological mother offered her services to donate egg cells and carried my first set of twin.” Joel said.

According to him, Lilia was already married and also have her own family.

“The mother is married with [an] 11-year-old daughter. The fact that I am gay, happy, single father is enough already, and I don’t need to marry her at all! She has a very happy family and life to enjoy!” said Joel.

It can be recalled that Joel spent P52-M to achieve eight children, and all of them were taken care of by his nannies.

It’s not yet known if the businessman was still considering having more children as he was rich enough to afford more.

Motivational speaker Rendon Labador has a new target after his month-long criticisms against FPJ’s Batang Quiapo leading star Coco Martin.

In his latest video, Rendon’s eyes were now on comedian Vice Ganda after the latter went viral on social media after being pulled by one of his fans during a concert in Edmonton.

It can be recalled that Vice demanded an apology from the fan, calling them disrespectful.

Rendon believed that fans should behave properly in front of their idols even if they spent money to see them.

“Hindi porket bumili kayo ng ticket para sa isang concert o para sa isang show eh parang nabili niyo na ‘yung mga artist.” said Labador. “Pumunta kayo doon para manood ng show, hindi para manabunot ng tao,”

“Paano kung panot [si Vice] natanggal ‘yung buhok niya edi sira ‘yung career niya, hindi mo ba alam ‘yung personal space? tresspassing ka,” he added.

According to him, Vice worked hard to maintain his popularity and always prepared to make himself presentable to the audience, so trying to pull his hair or wig was really disrespectful.

“Hindi madaling maging isang Vice Ganda, syempre pressure ‘yan, kailangan niyang protektahan ang sarili niya,” he said.

Rendon told the netizens that they should understand that celebrities like him have feelings also, and they have all the rights to protect their personal spaces.

“Kayong mga tao naiintindihan kasi nasa baba kayo, hindi kayo successful, karamihan ng maiingay ay ‘yung mga failures sa buhay, yun ‘yung mga naiingit,” the motivational speaker remarked.

He then urged the netizens and Vice to eat his popular ‘motivational rice’ in his restaurant.

A mother couldn’t hide her disappointment after being informed about the treatment received by her son from his kindergarten teacher.

Kindergarten was supposed to teach children how to love studying, but a teacher did the opposite to her student after ripping apart his activity paper for being talkative.

She also posted her conversation with the teacher.

The teacher defended her actions, saying that she had already asked the student to be quiet several times.

To discipline the child, she decided to rip off the activity paper of the child.

“I don’t like children who don’t know how to listen and keep talking. It’s okay if it only happened once, but I already asked your child for the 10th time to stay quiet.” the teacher said.

“I have my ways how to discipline my students. If you don’t like it, I can’t do anything about it.” she added.

Some netizens also said that while it’s right to discipline students, the teacher crossed the line with what she did to the boy.

“Kuing teacher ka dapat ma-tiyaga and ma-effort ka at palawigin mo ang pasensya mo.” a netizen said.

Meanwhile, the Department of Education (DepEd) already launched an investigation against the teacher.

If it was proven that she traumatized her student, she might lose her license to teach.

A property owner went viral on social media after she offered herself to the potential buyers of her house.

According to a report, Wina Lia, a 40-year-old widow, said that she’s also open to marrying the buyer of her house.

The price of a house in Java estimated cost 4.2-M pesos.

Lia went captured the attention of the netizens for being clever, saying that she would technically still own the house if the buyer ever decided to marry her.

Many men quickly expressed interest in the rare offer from Lia. However, only one almost captured her heart.

A man identified as Redi Eko Saputra, who claimed to be a widower, offered to buy the house and also said that he was ready to marry Lia.

The two almost decided to marry each other, but the publicity gained by the two uncovered the bitter truth about Saputra.

Saputra has been revealed to be still married to a woman and even held a press conference to criticize her partner for his attempt to marry Lia.

However, Lia said that she would still give a chance to Saputra, who vowed to fix his problem.

“He said he didn’t tell me because he was afraid I would leave him. He apologized and said he’d solve his problem. “I’m going to postpone it until all of this is finished,” she said.

As of now, Cruz already has eight children from Russian national Lila, and he has achieved it with the help of science.

Joel’s sperm and Lilia’s eggs were combined by experts to create children.

The last babies of Joel has different mothers but still using the eggs of Lilia.

The multi-millionaire became a father of eight after spending around P52-M on surrogacy.

Surrogacy was one of the few ways to get a child, and Cruz decided to have children via the said procedure because he was openly gay and not planning to have a female partner.

According to Cruz, her children have multiple mothers and mostly come from Russia.

He also met the mothers of his children and even became his friends.

However, Cruz admitted that sometimes the mother of his children became emotional when knowing that it was already time for her to complete her contract and give the baby to the businessman.

“Naluluha siya. Nalulungkot siya. Kasi naman, hindi lang naman ako ang client niya. Bago ako, meron siyang French couple na naging client tapos second client niya ako. After nu’n, nag-client siya ng European din. Tapos nu’n, sakin na, pero hindi na nga kumakapit…” Joel said in an interview.

“Maganda ang relationship namin ni Lilia. I am really very thankful sa kanya kasi sa kanya lahat ng egg cells, kumbaga siya ‘yung mother. Tapos siya ‘yung nag-aalaga. So nakita ko kung papaano siya mag-alaga talaga,” he added.

The businessman also hired nannies for each of his children to ensure that they were all taken care of.
