Influencer Xander Ford couldn’t hide his sadness after telling his followers about the unfulfilled promise made by his friend Christian Merck Grey.
It can be remembered that Xander claimed that Christian who’s also popularly known as ‘Makagwapo’ on social media, made a promise that he would shoulder the expenses for the Christening of the former’s child.
Xander trusted the promise made by Christian to him and spent P349,000 during the event, but the latter allegedly break his pledge.
In a live video, Xander can be seen crying while trying to narrate what really happened between him and Christian.
“Sobrang nakakasama ng loob, pinaasa mo kami, sobrang pinaasa mo kami.. Alam ko naman na hindi mo obligasyon ang obligasyon ko, pero nag-commit ka, nangako ka, nagsalita ka,” said Xander.
“Sana bago ka man lang magsabi ng ganon, sana isipin mo ‘yung tao na sasabihan mo ay umaasa sa’yo,” he added.
Xander said that they lost all his money after spending too much during the Christening of his son, hoping that Makagwapo would pay it back.
“Sobrang zero kami ngayon, dami ko pang naging utang. Nakakasama ng loob guys sa totoo lang. Nahihiya akong magpakita sa inyo ng ganito,” he stated.
Instead of getting support, Xander received criticism from netizens asking him why he spent too much money just because someone made a pledge to him.
As of writing, Makagwapo has yet to give any statement on the issue.
