Cristy Fermin reacted to the rumored relationship problem between showbiz couple Zoren Legaspi and Carmina Villarroel.
It can be remembered that netizens started to become curious about the state of the relationship between the two after Carmina posted a mysterious message on her social media post about ‘villans’ and ‘trust’.
“The villain plays the victim so well. Don’t trust everything. You see. Even salt looks like sugar.” Carmina’s post reads.

While netizens continued to speculate that Carmina and Zoren were having problems, veteran columnist Cristy Fermin assured her followers that the showbiz couple was on good terms.
According to Fermin, she was close with Carmina’s manager and was informed that the actress was not having problems with her husband.
“At itong mag-asawang ‘to, nagkikita sa gitna. Parehong magaling sa buhay, marunong humawak ng pananalapi, mapangarap para sa kanilang mga anak. Kaya walang-wala pong problema sa pagitan nina Zoren at Carmina,” Fermin said.
Several weeks ago, Carmina asked a surprising question Kapuso artist Lianne Valentine who’s one of the leading ladies of Zoren.
“Totoo ba na nagkaroon kayo ng relasyon ni Zoren?” Carmina asked.
Even Lianna couldn’t answer quickly after hearing Carmina’s question.
“Nagulat ako sa tanong. Grabe.” Lianne admitted.
The actress then clarified that she was only joking about her question.
“Sana. Dahil kung sa totoong buhay, ay naku, baka mamaya ipa-guest na kita kay Boy Abunda.” Carmina responded.
Some netizens took the question of Carmina seriously and asked if the actress was already being jealous with Lianne.
Kapuso actor Dingdong Dantes admits that he really considered running for public office many years ago.
In an interview with Boy Abunda, Dantes said he almost entered politics because of his love for the country.
“Sa tingin ko po ay lahat po ito nag-uugat sa pagmamahal natin sa Inang Bayan, at higit sa lahat pagmamahal sa kapwa. We recognize na iba-iba naman ang paraan natin ng pagpapakita nito.” Dingdong said.
“Ako, gusto ko po aminin na may panahon na I really thought na sana may [opportunity] for me to do more for the Filipino people over and beyond my work here in the industry.” he added.
However, he decided not to pursue his plan because he thought of the big responsibilities waiting for him if he ever got elected.

I recognize that it’s not that easy, it will require much of your time, energy, love, passion, and yourself. he stated.
According to him, he preferred to spend his time with his two children with Marian Rivera.
“I want to be the best father to my children, I want to be the best husband to Marian, be a good son, and responsible member of this beautiful industry, while striving to be a good citizen every day.” he remarked.
He believed that even without any government position, people could still contribute to the betterment of the country.
It can be remembered that Dingdong was a staunch supporter of the Liberal Party and he was also close to its key officials including late President Noynoy Aquino and former Vice President Leni Robredo.
Because of being an active supporter of LP, he was always being pushed to run for public service under the said party.
Comedian Brenda Mage amazed the netizens after he showed his newly-built ‘modern kubo’ on his farm in Hinaguan farm in Jasaan, Misamis Oriental.
In his Facebook post, he showed the final look of his house and also his simple life on the farm while taking a rest from work.

Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu gave an update about the condition of her sister Lakay after the latter has been rushed to the hospital.
On April 23, 2023, Kim revealed that her sister has been brought to the ICU, fortunately, her condition improved so she was transferred to a regular room.
However, the actress said that Lakay was still unconscious.
She then asked her friends and followers not to stop praying for the betterment of her sister’s condition.

Using mobile phones has become one of the top hobbies in the world, especially among children and teenagers.
However, because of being easily accessible, many people are already being dependent on using the said device, which might already affect their studies and sleep time.
Many parents were complaining that their children were using their phones for too long and they were having difficulties controlling the habit of their youngsters.
A father in Huang made a unique way to stop his child from using his phone for longer hours by forcing him to play mobile games for 11 hours straight.
In a post on social media, he told his child to play mobile games for 24 hours straight so he would learn the bad effects of using the said device for too long.
According to the father, he caught his child playing mobile games during late hours, so instead of stopping the boy, he forced him to play for a whole day without any rest.
At first, the boy was happy with what he was doing after being allowed by his father to play non-stop.
However, after several hours, the boy started to get tired and asked his father to let him stop using his mobile phone, but the latter refused.
The boy even fell asleep, but his father woke him up and asked him to continue playing.
After 17 hours, the boy already gave up and plead with his father to let him stop playing mobile games.
He even wrote a note promising that he would limit the use of his phone.
The father gave him a chance to his child, believing that the boy had already learned his lesson.

Rain or Shine Elasto Painters player Beau Belga has been suspended in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) after being involved in a ‘basketbrawl’ at Carmen Municipal Gym in Cebu.
In a video posted by Macrose Pasaol Brigoli, it can be seen that Belga was playing with some players including Jio Jalalon, Robert Bolick and JR Quiñahan when suddenly the two teams started a scuffle.
Belga can be seen throwing a ball at one of the other team’s players.
Fortunately, the crowd and the officials successfully controlled the players.

PBA said that Belga has no permission to play in Cebu City so they decided to suspend him temporarily.
It’s unknown if PBA would also suspend the other players involved in the match.

Zoe went viral after receiving support from the netizens after being become a subject of ridicule from her critics.
Because of her video, Zoe became one of the brand ambassadresses of the said fashion company, and she also became one of the endorsers of an airline company.
However, some netizens were already suspecting that Zoe was already making ‘sob stories’ to gain engagement on social media, including labelling herself to be poor.
Netizen Elaine Song shared his investigation, trying to debunk Zoe’s claims that her parents were poor.
“I have noticed something strange about Zoe Gabriel. She dropped out of secondary 2 education in Singapore, citing her father’s inability to afford the school fees. However, if her father is truly financially unstable, it would be unlikely for him to have been able to work and live in Singapore for so many years, as well as bring his four children and wife from the Philippines to live with him here. It is more probable that Zoe found Singapore’s education system challenging and was unable to succeed, hence repeatedly using her father’s financial predicament as an excuse.” Song said.

Song argued that there’s a possibility that Zoe was only pretending to be poor to gain more sympathy from netizens.
“Using a disadvantaged family background is an effective way to elicit sympathy from people, and she appears to frequently use this method. I have taught several students from low-income families during my time as a tutor in Singapore, and I have not seen them resort to dropping out or using their economic situation as a pretext for everything.” she wrote.
“I am willing to bet that in her next and future social media posts, she will again highlight her “poor,” “medically ill,” and “humble” background and claim that everything is a luxury or privilege to gain attention.
“Either she is highly skilled at emotionally manipulating others, or her father is neglectful in providing his children with basic education and healthcare. In this regard, I believe it is a combination of both- she is emotionally manipulative, and her father is a financially negligent parent.”
According to some sources, Zoe’s father was working as a mechanical engineer for a Singaporean company.
