Celebrity dermatologist Manny Calayan confirmed that he already parted ways with his former partner, Pia Calayan.

In an interview with ABS-CBN news, Dr. Manny said they separated in a civil manner in 2019 and even kept it very private.

According to him, they decided to separate to remain at peace.

“That was 2019. I think mga August ‘yun. Ayun, we separated ways. The kids are happier na we’re in this situation kesa lagi nag-aaway, merong misunderstanding,” he said.

The dermatologist also said they’re still in business partnerships, including with their popular clinic, Manny and Pie Calayan Clinic.

Dr. Manny said that the reason why they were separated was because he longed for freedom.

“May mga indifferences na rin kami. Kasi ‘di ba umalis si Dra. Pie for five years, nag-States. Then bumalik siya dito, parang nasanay ako sa pagka-binata ulit nung nawala siya. Then umuwi siya, hinahanap ko ulit ‘yung pagka-binata ko, then ayaw niya. Hindi kami magkaintindihan sa ganoon, I’m happier now. I hope she’s happy too,” he said.

As of writing, Pia has yet to respond to the admission made by her former husband.

Manny and Pie Calayan is one of the most popular derma clinics in the country, and it has been endorsed by different celebrities, like Boy Abunda, Iya Villania, Jennylyn Mercardo, and Pokwang.

They’re one of the top competitors of celebrity dermatologist Dra. Vicky Belo and even exchanged criticism after she made fun of Manny and Pie Calayan on national television.

OPM band Orange and Lemons went viral on social media after they suddenly left the stage amid their performance.

During an event in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, the band was preparing to perform when actress Francine Diaz suddenly appeared on stage to greet the audience after the host called her.

The band, who felt that the limelight was stolen from them by Francine, left the stage.

Several moments later, Orange and Lemons vocalist Clem Castro addressed the audience and other artists to learn how to respect other performers.

“Gusto ko lang manghingi ng paumanhin pero kailangan ko lang sabihin ‘to… Para sa mga artist, sana naman walang sumisingit… Respeto lang ba?” Clem said.

The audience at the venue was left speechless after Clem’s statement.

Meanwhile, several netizens believed that the incident must be blamed on the host and the organizers.

According to them, Francine was only called to appear on stage and there was a possibility that she was not aware that Orange and Lemons was already preparing for their performance during that time.

As of writing, Francine has yet to respond to the band’s statement against her.

Camille Prats-Yambao shared her experience during the ‘purity ball’ they attended last Saturday together with her son Nathan Prats.

Maine Mendoza addressed the claims made by the remaining fans of her former partnership with Alden Richards, AlDuB.

In an interview, Maine was asked about her reaction to the rumors that she was already married to Alden and had kids with the Kapuso actor.

According to her, she didn’t fail to remind their fans that her love team with Alden was only for entertainment purposes.

The ex-live-in partner of Dennis Padilla, Linda Marie Gorton, finally made a statement for the first time about the rumors that the actor was not supporting his children.

In her Instagram post, Linda, now based in Australia, reacted to Dennis’ claims that he was having difficulty supporting his children with his ex as they live overseas.

Linda debunked the claims that Dennis was consistently sending child support to their children, Gavin and Maddie, saying that she reached the point where she asked the actor several times just to convince him to assist their offspring.

“First of all, consistency in child support wasn’t always the case. Through the years, there were many lapses in between. And many times I had to, and still have to persistently ask for it kasi kung papabayaan ko matagal at kulang kulang ang padala. Because I also work here, ako ang nagpuno sa mga pagkukulang na iyon,” said Linda. “I don’t know what “madugo” meant in his statement when this is what was more or less the normal expenses for the kids even back then when we were still living together,”

According to her, while the tuition for her children was free in Australia, she was still required to work to fulfill the needs of Maddie and Gavin.

“Although financial support is still big help, raising three children alone especially here in Australia where I don’t get to hire people for help and has to work at the same time, is not a stroll in the park. Social media celebrity Deo Balbuena, a.k.a. Diwata, responded to the vlog published by talent manager Ogie Diaz about the feedback his Paresan business was receiving.

In a vlog posted by a certain SALOMO21, Diwata was asked about the remarks made by Ogie against his food.

“Wala akong pakialam sa sinasabi nila, tulad niyang sinasabi ko kung hindi niyo gusto ‘yung pagkain ko, mag scroll at pumunta sa ibang nagtitinda,” said Diwata. “Ang tinitinda ko kasi, hindi ko ‘yan pinipilit, kung hindi mo gusto, marami namang kainan,”

“Yung sinasabi nila na hindi pasok sa panlasa, edi humanap ka ng pasok sa panlasa, problema ba ‘yon?” he added.

“Pero siguro ’no, magandang sinasabi rin natin ’to para at least aware si Diwata na pasarapin pang lalo ang kanyang pares… Mas maganda na tama rin naman yung sinasabi ng mga vloggers pagdating don na kung masarap, masarap talaga,” he stated.
