Its Showtime segment “EXpecially For You” participant Christine went viral on social media after she was spotted talking to a staff of the noontime show following Vice Ganda’s statement.

In the said video published by Jhelo Bernabe, Christine could be seen crying and talking to one of the staff of It’s Showtime and complaining about how the noontime show portrayed her as a liar.

“Pinagmukha niyo akong sinungaling, paano naman ako?“ said Christine.

“Hindi nga po kayo nakonsensya sa pagsisinungaling,” she added.

The staff told Christine that they were trying to fix the issue.

Jhelo also talked about how Christine was affected by Vice’s statement.

“Sobrang naawa ako kay Christine. Sana mabigytan din siya ng justice,” the conversation reads.

“Kasi parang ok na sila Axel, malinis na name nya tapos nilinis na din ni Vice ‘yung sa kanya, parang dating kasi nalipat kay Christine ‘yung sisi,” it added.

On June 4, 2024, Vice initially said that he would apologize to Axel Cruz after he told him that the way he approached his ex-girlfriend, Maria Christine, was inappropriate.

However, Vice, through their show, said that he would not apologize anymore and insisted that what Axel did was inappropriate, despite the statement released by Christine who said that she was fine with what her ex did.

A writer and mariner wrote an open letter to Vice Ganda about the comedian’s decision not to apologize for calling out a participant in the It’s Showtime segment, Especially for you.

In his letter that he posted on Facebook, Lacruiser Relativo called out Vice for putting people in an embarrassing situation on national television.

“To Vice Ganda, if you and your company find so much fulfillment by shaming innocent people on national TV, congratulations! You have just earned the highest distinction award in the expense of other people’s peace and reputation. Hindi naman kami killjoy vice. In fact, we are hailed as the happiest people in Asia. Nasa dugo natin ang pagiging masayahin. But as long na may mga taong kailangan mong ipahiya on live TV, walang pwedeng magsaya!” he said.

“Hindi ito ang una humingi ng sorry si Vice. Pero sorry becomes an empty word, loses its meaning kung walang genuine remorse and usually contradicts with her actions,” he added.

Vice’s message gained mixed reactions from the netizens.

A content creator received criticism on social media after he insisted that he gained his achievements due to his hard work and not because of God.

In a Facebook post, Ashier Hernandez published a conversation between him and a fan who reacted to his property acquisition.

“Sana ol po, grabee talaga si lord magbigay no? Sobra-sobra! Sana ako din sa susunod,” the fan told Asher.

“Ay di po galing kay lord yan. Galing po yan sa hardwork ko hehehe,” Asher responded.

In a lengthy post, he explained why he believed that people should not always credit God when they achieve something.

“So ano nga bang gusto kong iparating sa post na yon. i just want to tell you guys that you deserve the credit of your own hardwork. Kase napansin ko dito sa Pilipinas, whenever you get your achievement, whenever you reached your goal. Bakit laging si God nacecredit, bakit si lord ang pinagtethank youhan?” he said.

“Eh ikaw naman ang nag trabaho nun ih, ikaw nag pakahirap don. It’s your goal, it’s not god’s goal. So bat si god yung kinecredit natin? That’s so unfair diba. Guide lang naman siya sa mga gusto natin, so bakit si god yung itethank you niyo? I just want to tell you guys that god is not a giver, he/she is just a guide,” he added.

He also called the God being worshipped by the Filipinos as ‘fictional.’

“I definitely have different religion and beliefs, I was born in Thailand and we’re worshipping Elephants as one of our God. Atleast yung god namin nakikita, nahahawakan at nakakatulong sa bansa namin. How about pinoy’s fictional god????? Can we just respect other people’s beliefs? This world has thousands/of Gods and we should respect everyone’s religions,” he said.

Vice Ganda withdrew his plan to apologize to It’s Showtime segment “EXpecially For You” searchee Alex Cruz due to an incident happened last week.

It can be recalled that Vice expressed his guilt via Twitter after he thought that the searchee, Axel, was forcing himself on his ex-girlfriend, Christine.

“Oy, hindi pwede yun, that’s bad! Don’t do that, you ask for permission. Alam mo bang pwede kang mademanda sa ginagawa mo? Don’t do that, hindi ka pwedeng biglang nagnanakaw ng halik,” Vice told Axel during the May 31 episode of It’s Showtime.

He published the said statement after Christine made a video to clarify that she was okay with the gestures of her ex-boyfriend.

“Sorry na mali ang reaction ko. Ang dating kasi sakin at sa ibang andun eh na-off si girl na sinunggaban sya ng halik. Since hindi naman pala I will apologize to the guy,” said Vice.

However, several days after he made the said tweets, Vice said that he would not apologize for his actions.

As a host, Vice believed that it should be their responsibility to protect their guests.

The father of the “Child Wonder of the Philippines,” Niño Muhlach, introduced his girlfriend, who’s 52 years younger than him.

In an interview with Pep.ph, Alex Mulach introduced his 30-year-old girlfriend, Mae, who’s been his partner since 2014.

“Ten years na kami ni Mae at 52 years lang ang agwat ng aming edad,” said Alex.

Niño, in an interview with Boy Abunda said that he was supportive of his father’s love life, saying that Mae took care of Alex.

Annabelle Rama made a clarification regarding a statement circulating on social media that was being associated with her.

The statement was the quote card showing an alleged statement from her about her approval of Barbie Imperial as her son’s possible new partner, Richard Gutierrez.

In an interview with Abante, Annabelle denied that she was the one who made the said tweet.

Netizens realized that the page was referring to Jeric and Rabiya after it republished a social media post shared by the actor about the concert.

The page quickly released a public apology, which was also reposted by Rabiya.

“We wanna clarify that the rumors circulating are not true. We bough the tickets for 12,000PHP each. Just like the rest of them. We worked very hard to afford the tickets and never demanded for any VIP treatment but we would like to commend the ushers for helping us find our seats,” she said.

She even showed a photo of the ticket and even shared that they were scammed by a scalper.

“We’ve been scammed the first time we tried to buy these tickets. Just like the rest of you. We had a hard time looking for available tickets,” she said.

“Contrary to what most of you think, walang artista-artista sa paghahanap,” she also said.
