Nikko Natividad went viral on social media after he directly criticized Vice Ganda amid the issue he was facing after he called out “EXpecially For You” participant Axel Cruz.

In his post, Nikko expressed his support for Axel, saying that Vice put him in an embarrassing situation on national television.

“Naawa lang ako sa lalaki na may nagawang mali pero hindi niya talaga intensyon. At syempre dun sa babae,” said Nikko. “Sobra lang kasi napahiya ‘yung lalaki na sasabihan pa na tatadyakan at pwede kasuhan,”

“ALAM KO KASI PAKIRAMDAM NG PINAPAHIYA SA TV AT NAPOPOWERTRIP BASE SA EXPERIENCE KO,” he added.

However, many people didn’t know that Nikko and Vice were close during the stint of the former hashtag member on It’s Showtime.

Vice even declared Nikko as his favorite member of the Hashtag.

And because Nikko was Vice’s favorite, the comedian always mentioned the former hashtag members on the show.

One of the moments between Vice and Nikko was when the comedian revealed that they tried to open the wallet of the former hashtag member and discovered that he only had P800.

“Dahil wala nanamang pera si Nikko, natagpuan nanaman siya sa Parlor,” Vice said.

Some fans believed that Vice was insinuating that Nikko was visiting a gay parlor to earn extra income.

Actor and former participant of “EXpecially For You” Nico Locco joined the celebrities who called out Vice Ganda’s behavior on national television.

In his Instagram post, Nico published an open letter to a certain individual whom people believed to be Vice Ganda.

Nico called out the said individual for allegedly making fun of people as a form of comedy.

“If you have to make fun of people and take personal shots at them palagi to make people laugh, it’s sooo not funny. Para sa akin, it’s simply a lack of intelligence and creativity,” said Nico. “I’m so tired of seeing it pa ulit ulit on tv. I won’t mention the show or network that repeatedly does it pero yeah, you know what I mean,” 

“Belittling someone to make people laugh doesn’t make you a comedian. It makes you a bully. I would love to see that specific person jump into their shoes for once para maramdaman niya what it feels like. Siguro he or she wouldn’t be laughing anymore,” he added.

It can be recalled that Vice also called out Nico when the latter’s ex-girlfriend, Christine Bermas, revealed that he cheated on her.

“Why did you still cheat? Why do cheater cheat kahit na nakita na nila yung pinakamaganda, pinakamabait, pinakamaalaga, pinagdarasal nila, bakit pa sila nagloloko? Do you understand yourself, bakit mo nagagawa yon?” Vice told Nico.

It can be recalled that Vice was receiving criticisms on social media after he called out a participant of EXpecially For You.

Vice even fueled the issue when he refused to apologize to the participant and insisted that what he did was inapproriate.

Kapamilya actor Nikko Natividad made a rare move after commenting on the issue of It’s Showtime.

In a Facebook post, Nikko sympathized with Axel Cruz, the It’s Showtime segment, EXpecially For You contestant who went viral on social media after being called out by Vice Ganda live on national television due to his gestures towards his ex-girlfriend, Christine.

“Naawa lang ako sa lalaki na may nagawang mali pero hindi niya talaga intensyon. At syempre dun sa babae,” said Nikko. “Sobra lang kasi napahiya ‘yung lalaki na sasabihan pa na tatadyakan at pwede kasuhan,”

He also added that he had experienced the same thing.

“ALAM KO KASI PAKIRAMDAM NG PINAPAHIYA SA TV AT NAPOPOWERTRIP BASE SA EXPERIENCE KO,” he stated.

Nikko also made another post to express support for Axel and Christine.

“Lalagyan lang nya ng charot sa dulo lulusot na yan,” he stated.

As of writing, Nikko already deleted the said posts.

Meanwhile, netizens were waiting for Vice to respond to Nikko.

It can be recalled that Vice withdrew his plans to apologize to Axel and even criticized his actions again on national television.

“Binabawi ko yung twineet ko na I will say an apology because I do not need to apologize for what I did. Ito ang aking paniniwala, at paniniwala din namin na hindi kinakailangang mag-apologize because what we did was right,” he stated.

“Nirerespeto namin ang dahilan ni Christine kung bakit sinabi niya yon, na hindi siya na-off when, in reality, na-off talaga siya. At since na-off si Christine, naniniwala ako na hindi mali na kinolout namin si Axel dahil karapatan ng isang babae na tumanggi o umalma kung para sa kanya, sa pakiwari niya ay hindi siya kumportable sa ikikilos ng sinuman sa harapan niya,” he added.

Former EB Babe member Lian Paz revealed the reason she gave up on pushing for the annulment of her marriage with Paolo Contis.

In an interview, Lian narrated that Paolo initially filed for annulment in 2014, but it was rejected by the court, which prompted her to make another attempt on her own in 2021.

The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) urged netizens to not only express their disappointment with certain television shows on social media but also file a formal complaint with their agency.

Amid the issue being faced by It’s Showtime, following Vice Ganda’s decision to retract her apology to a participant of their segment “EXpecially For You,” several netizens visited MTRCB’s Facebook page to air their disappointment towards the Kapamilya noontime show.

They asked the agency to take action against It’s Showtime for allegedly embarrassing their contestant on national television.

As a response, MTRCB encouraged the netizens to file a formal complaint against It’s Showtime.

“Para sa mabilis na resolusyon ukol sa inyong ulat, mangyari lamang po na i-access ang aming complaint/feedback form, sa pamamagitan ng link na ito: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc6t8UtJ9ZEUseejrsidUHE2OobBRcz3tQtGHwH2U4xsDwRew/viewform?” the agency wrote.

It can be recalled that Vice was supposed to apologize to the participant, Axel Cruz after he called him out for his gesture towards his ex-girlfriend, Maria Christine.

Christine already said that she was fine with the gestures of her ex-boyfriend, but Vice insisted that what Axel did was inappropriate.

After Vice’s statement, Christine was reportedly so affected by the comedian’s statement that she called It’s Showtime staff to express her disappointment while crying.

According to her, the statement made by Vice put her in a bad light.

Netizens noticed Axel’s quotes were about challenges, which prompted them to cheer the participant for the possible effects of Vice’s actions towards him.

Some even urged Axel to file a complaint before the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) to teach the host a lesson.
