Izzy Trazone opposed the decision of her son Andrei to become a drag queen.

In a Facebook post, Izzy who’s a former member of Sexbomb Dancers said that she couldn’t stop herself from trying to change the mind of her son and stop his current activities.

According to her, what her son was doing was against the teachings of the Lord.

“Yes, I agree, same with me, hindi mo parin naman nararanasan maging magulang. All I want is for your best. Im holding on with the TRUTH that is written in the bible, the word of God. The One who created us,” she said.

“So if my children, the 4 of them, will do something that is against the faith that I have in Christ, that will I disagree. I point them to Jesus because with that I will be secured with their future. The best I know I can give to my children, more than richness, fame and all.

“Putting my hope on what Jesus did on the cross for me, paid the consequence of my sin. Instead of me paying it. Sin will bring me to eternal death, hell. But He saved me. By believing and surrendering my life to that truth,”

Izzy argued that parents only wanted the best for their children.

“Sino ba naman magulang ang gustong mapahamak ang anak? When all your motive is to save them sa mas masakit na pwede nilang maranasan. Ang buhay na wala si Kristo. Andrei anak, I love you so much to not support you on things that will harm you. I am always here for you…your mama, mahal na mahal kita,” she stated.

Brenda Mage to increase entrance fee after receiving safety complaints from visitors

Comedian Brenda Mage decided to increase the entrance fee of her private resort in Cagayan de Oro after some of his guests complained about the lack of security.

In a Facebook post, netizen Arwillo Gepiga said that his group visited the Hinaguan Nature Park owned by the comedian.

According to Gepiga, they were supposed to celebrate the late birthday of their friend, but their vacation turned into a nightmare.

“Imbis na destressing ang late birthday celebration ng kaibigan ko, naging stress,” Gepiga said in Cebuano.

Gepiga said that they lost two phones, cash, and also their sandals during their stay at the resort.

Gepiga then asked Brenda to invest in CCTVs to enhance their security.

“Brenda Mage pls secure the safety of your clients…secure the area, invest in CCTV,”

Brenda apologized for what happened to her guests and as a response, she was planning to increase the entrance fee of her resort.

In another post, Brenda even asked her followers not to visit her resort if they were concerned with their security.

“Mahirap magpaliwanag… our Place is not safe.. wala po kaming security guard,wala po kami CCTV kaya kung ayaw nyo mapahamak… wag na po kayo pumunta lalo na pag gabi…..Mas mabuti pa yung walang customer kaysa ma Blame kami sa mga mangyayari sa inyong hindi maganda. your safety is importante so better not to come here….Maraming salamat – Mumay,” she said.

Actress Matet de Leon admitted that she sometimes felt shame when people were looking at her while lining up on the PWD lane.

In a Facebook post, Matet shared her mental health condition, saying that she had bipolar disorder, which made her eligible for persons with disabilities (PWDs) benefits.

However, despite her right to use the PWD lane in establishments, Matet shared that some people were skeptical of her usage of her privileges.

According to her, unlike other PWDs, Matet said that her appearance was normal, so she understood why some people were doubtful of her.

“I have bipolar disorder. I’m a pwd. Hindi halata? Kaya pala pinag titinginan ako kanina sa isang supermarket. Kinalabit pa ako ng isang babaeng yayamanin at pinapalipat ng lane. Hiyang hiya ako. Pati sa sarili ko,” said Matet.

“Ang hirap ng kalagayan naming may mental health issues na hindi nakikita ng iba.. Sanay sila na ang may mental illness, nagtutulo ng laway o nagsasalita mag isa. Sana sa lahat ng makakabasa nito, mag ingat. Guys, hindi madali ang malagay sa sitwasyon namin. Sana din huwag nang paabutin sa kailangan na naming isabit id namin sa leeg,” she added.

Despite being a PWD, she also asked the public to still respect the elders and let them be first on the line.

“Sa mga kagaya ko, na kaya naman magtiis ng sandali, paunahin ang matatanda at yung talagang makikita ninyong hirap nang pumila. Yun lang,” she stated.

Aside from being allowed to use the PWD lane, Matet was also rightful to receive a 20% discount and Value Added Tax (VAT) Exemption.

Motivational Speaker Rendon Labador showed his rare side to his followers after his social media pages were banned.

It can be recalled that Rendon’s Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, and Google accounts were suspended following a mass report campaign.

In a statement, Rendon said that he was online trying to stay strong because of his followers, but in reality, he was a coward and not a strong person.

“Kasi akala ninyo sobrang lakas ko, ‘di naman talaga ako malakas eh, ‘di naman talaga ako matapang eh, pero pinipilit kong tapangan, pinipilit kong bumangon, pinipilit ko lumaban,” said Rendon.

Rendon was known for his controversial statements and criticisms against celebrities like Coco Martin, Vice Ganda, Lea Salonga, Jak Roberto, Michael V, and Joey de Leon.

He was also criticized after he admitted that he was not doing any research before posting on social media.

As of writing, none of the suspended pages owned by Rendon were successfully recovered.

The current situation of Rendon put his career as an influencer in jeopardy as his social media pages were his main venue to reach his fans.

A man went viral on social media after he requested a kiss from actress Shaina Magdayao.

Shaina was present during the 11th Sangkaan Festival held in Tandag City, Surigao del Sur.

Aside from Shaina, Khalil Ramos, The Juans, Silent Sanctuary, Dimes & Grind, and PGO Band were also present during the event.

However, the actress stole the show’s highlight, which was taken during the photo-op between fans and celebrities who attended the event.

In the video, it can be seen that Surigao del Sur Governor Alexander Pimentel was guiding the fans who wanted to take a photo with Shaina.

However, a man who was given a chance to greet Shaina asked for a kiss, which the actress granted.

The Governor witnessed the incident and couldn’t take his eyes off the man.

While the man was celebrating and on his way to leave the stage, Pimentel suddenly slapped the back of the guest’s head.

However, in another angle taken by a netizen, it can be seen that the governor was not serious about what he did and smiled after the incident.

A businesswoman based in Laguna went viral on social media, not because of her live selling skills but because when an unfortunate incident that happened while she was promoting her products to her followers.

The victim was identified as Agnes Serafica, 52, a resident of Sta. Rosa Laguna.

In her Facebook live stream, which was still published as of writing, Serafica could be seen doing her business normally when a group of men entered her store.

One of the suspects could be seen tipping the phone to cover the scene.

Before the live stream ended, the suspects could be heard asking Serafica several times to lie face down.

“Nakita ko po na may baril siya, so kaya po dumapa na kami. Hinihingi po niya ‘yung pera sa’min which is wala naman po talaga kaming pera. Hanggang sa ang kinukuha na lang nilang pilit is ‘yung alahas ko,” Serafica told GMA news.

The authorities quickly identified one of the suspects whom they discovered as one of the neighbors of the victim.

“Lagi niyang nakaka-kwentuhan ‘yung tatay ng biktima. Accordingly, nagkukuwento ‘yung tatay na may three million daw sa kuwarto, nakatago. ‘Yun ang pinag-interesan base doon sa conversation at chat ng dalawang suspek,” the Sta. Rosa City Police Station told the press.

Group files charges against Vice Ganda and Ion Perez

A group filed complaints against Vice Ganda and Ion Perez for allegedly violating the cybercrime law and other charges for still unknown reasons.

On September 11, 2023, the group Kapisanan ng Social Media Broadcasters ng Pilipinas (KSMBP) filed the charges against the It’s Showtime hosts before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.

Atty. Mark Tolentino who represented the group said that they would hold a press conference on September 13 to explain why they decided to file charges against Vice and Ion.

Last month, the group met with the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) chairperson Lala Sotto to discuss the proliferation of ‘immoral’ content on some television shows.

It’s not yet known if the complaints they filed were related to the alleged indecent actions performed by Vice and Ion in front of several children during one of the episodes of the Isip Bata segment.

As of writing, Vice and Ion have yet to give any statement on the new charges they were facing.

Aside from the charges, It’s Showtime was also in the process of appealing the 12-day airing suspension imposed by MTRCB on them.

Kaye Abad explained why she was spotted being guarded by several men while shopping for groceries at a mall in Cebu City.

It can be recalled that Kaye went viral on social media after she was recorded while traveling around the mall while being followed by several men wearing white uniforms.

According to her, the bodyguards were provided by the mall where she visited as she was collaborating with the said establishment.

Kaye said that she refused to be guarded, but the bodyguards told her that they were only following orders.

“I explained it on my social media na I did a collaboration with this supermarket. And then, so nagpadala silang bodyguard, the bodyguards work for the supermarket, and then I told them na hindi ko na kailangan ng bodyguards kasi ’yung mga Cebuano sanay naman na sakin na nag-iikot-ikot lang ako sa mall mag-isa,” the actress said.

“But then sabi nila, ‘sige lang ma’am’ kasi inutos daw sa kanila so sabi ko, ‘ah okay,’ so yung nag-viral, hindi po sa akin yung bodyguards na ’yun, sa supermarket po,” she added.

Actress Julia Barretto walked out of an interview after she was asked about her opinion on the encounter between her boyfriend Gerald Anderson and the actor’s ex-girlfriend Maja Salvador.

In a video taken by Jayco Manangan, Julia was seen walking out after she heard a question from one of the members of the entertainment press.

Television host Buboy Villar couldn’t hide his happiness after Television and Exponents (TAPE) Inc. successfully regained ownership of Eat Bulaga’s YouTube channel.

In his Facebook post, Buboy shared the first live stream of Eat Bulaga on YouTube using their official channel.

“FIRST LIVE SA YT CHANNEL THANKYOU LORD!” Buboy wrote.

On September 9, TAPE Inc. posted its first live stream using the YouTube channel of Eat Bulaga.

However, the regaining of TAPE’s ownership on the Eat Bulaga channel disappointed Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon who were the former hosts of the longest-running noontime show.

They revealed their plan to take legal action to recover the YouTube channel.

“The owner of the YouTube channel is the owner of the email used to register it. It is not TAPE. The content of that YouTube account are past episodes of ‘Eat Bulaga.’ The copyright of the show and its episodes belong to TVJ,” Atty. Enrique Dela Cruz Jr. the legal counsel of TVJ said in a statement.

TVJ’s camp also suspected that Tape Inc. hacked the Youtube channel of Eat Bulaga to gain access to it.

Meanwhile, the Facebook page of Eat Bulaga was still inactive as of writing.
