Former EB Babe member Lian Paz couldn’t hide her admiration for her children with Kapuso actor Paolo Contis.

In her Instagram post, Lian dedicated a letter to her children, Xonia and Xalene, who their school recently recognized for their academic performance.

Lian also included photos of her and her children, together with her partner, John Cabahug.

John was the one who took the responsibility of Paolo to his children.

“Thank you for this wonderful day for Xonia and Xalene. Your gift of wisdom, knowledge and your faithfulness in shaping them all throughout their journey this school year. As they grow in their spiritual walk with you lord, They learned to value everything you gave them even more. I appreciate all the hardwork and dedication my daughters have put in academically and most of all, their willingness and commitment to be a good person and that is all because of your grace oh lord!” Lian wrote.

“Even with the setbacks and challenges they face, they learned to trust in you and nothing is ever more beautiful than that. I am confident in your promises lord that everything works for the good for those who love you! according to your purpose!” she added.

However, several netizens noticed that Xonia and Xalene were still using their father’s surname.

“Contis” really doesn’t deserve to be on their name,” netizen Hiaamemshie said.

It can be recalled that Paolo admitted in a past interview that he didn’t send child support to Xonia and Xalene, but clarified that he was saving for them.

Xian Lim talked about being played during an interview with the press for his movie “Playtime.”

The movie was about a man portrayed by Xian, who lures women into the woods, where he hunts them in a “game.”

The press asked Xian if he already experienced playing with other people, including his former partners.

“Kung ako yong nang-playtime, hindi po. If ako ba yong na-playtime niya or nila, hindi ko rin alam,” said Xian.

Yen Santos’ mother finally speaks on the rumored relationship between her daughter and controversial actor Paolo Contis.

In Jobert Sucaldito’s social online program, Mrs. Yan Santos addressed the public and clarified that her daughter was not in any romantic relationship with Paolo.

She also denied that Yen was the reason behind the separation of Paolo and LJ Reyes.

“Tinawagan ko po si mommy Lilian, si mommy Lilian is the mother of Yen Santos kasi very close sa akin ‘yang batang ‘yan more than 10 years na,” said Jobert.

“Sabi ko, ‘mommy may tanong lang ako?’ ‘Ano ‘yun ‘nay?’ Nanay din kasi ang tawag sa akin no’n, eh. Sina Yen ba at si Paolo hiwalay na? ‘Yun ang tanong ko sa kanya.

The photos show that Sarah and Barbie took a cooking lesson at the Center for Culinary Arts (CCA).

Some netizens wrote comments and alleged that Barbie tried to imitate Sarah.

GMA Network published the teaser of Tito Mars’ appearance on the show, where he would portray a character that may be similar to his internet persona.

Meanwhile, a video of Aleck Bovick while having a confrontation with Tito Mars also went viral on social media.

The PBA Motoclub ended its silence after it was tagged several times on social media due to the possible connections between businessman Gerrard Raymund Yu and the group.

It can be recalled that Yu was suspected of ending the life of a motorist during a traffic argument on May 27, 2024.

Yu, already under the authorities’ custody, was believed to be connected to PBA Motoclub, founded by former Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) player Rico Maierhofer and Jayjay Helterbrand.

Photos of Yu wearing a t-shirt of the club went viral on social media.

In a statement, the group admitted that Yu was ‘associated’ with their group, but it doesn’t mean they would defend his actions.

They also extended their condolences to the family of the victim.

“We at PBA MOTOCLUB would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family of MR. Aniceto Mateo. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time,” the club wrote.

“To all our followers and fans, we deeply appreciate your support. We understand that as a group associated with the suspect, we may be tagged in various social media platforms,” they added.

Meanwhile, Yu asked the public to stop judging him and insisted that he was a kind man.

“Mabuti po tayong tao, hindi po tayo masama… Nakikiusap lang po ako sa mga tao ng ‘wag naman po husgahan tayo,” he said.

The social media manager of the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences Awards (FAMAS) clarified that Eva Darren was not picked as a presenter during last week’s controversial awards night.

It can be recalled that the 72nd FAMAS received criticism on social media after Eva’s son claimed that his mother was replaced by the organizers at the last minute of the event.

However, Johnrey Rivas, a member of the FAMAS staff, denied that they picked Eva as the event’s presenter.

According to Johnrey, Eva was not included in the script as the veteran actress was not approved to become the presenter of FAMAS.

He revealed that FAMAS originally wanted Tirso Cruz III and Glaiza de Castro to become the presenter of the awards night, but unfortunately, the actress was not allowed by her management.

FAMAS then asked veteran actress Nova Villa to replace Glaiza, but her poor eyesight prompted the organizers to replace her at the last minute.

Johnrey said that Nova was the one who complained about her eyesight.

He blamed FAMAS’ public relations officer Renz Spangler for not informing Eva’s camp that she was no longer chosen to become the presenter.

Johnrey also said that Renz was the one who brought confusion to the event organizers.

Johnrey also said that FAMAS was wrong for saying that they searched for Eva during the Award’s night and suspected the the organization made the said statement to protect Renz.

“To Clarify the Statement ng FAMAS, ISANG DEVICE NG FAMAS NA ILIGTAS ANG PRO SA APOLOGY LETTER “CANNOT LOCATE EVA DARREN”, DAHIL HINDI TALAGA NAMIN HINAHANAP SI EVA DARREN, WALA SIYA SA PROGRAM. MAS PINILI NG FAMAS NA MAGING SACRIFICIAL LAMB ANG PRODUCTION OUTFIT NA NAGMAMANAGE TO PROTECT THE EMOTIONAL AND MENTAL CHALLENGES NI RENZ (PRO),” he stated.

As of writing, Eva’s camp has yet to give a response to Johnrey’s explanation.

Basketball star James Yap and his Italian partner, Michela Cazzola, reportedly called it quits after several years of their relationship.

Talent manager and entertainment reporter Ogie Diaz revealed that his source already confirmed the separation between the two.

According to him, James and Michela were still on good terms and actively performing their duties as parents to their children.

However, Ogie still wanted to hear James’ confirmation about the rumors.

The man who was being accused of ending the life of another motorist after a traffic argument appealed to the public to stop judging him based on the reports about him.

In an interview, the suspect, Gerrard Raymund Yu, insisted that he was a kind man.

“Mabuti po tayong tao, hindi po tayo masama… Nakikiusap lang po ako sa mga tao ng ‘wag naman po husgahan tayo,” he said.

He made the statement despite the investigators’ findings, which could strongly link Yu to what happened to the motorist Aniceto Mateo.

Even one of the witnesses positively identified Yu.

Yu, a Pasig City-based businessman, was driving a Mercedes Benz car when the confrontation between him and Mateo happened.

The suspect’s vehicle was registered under Yu’s name, and he even noticed that he had changed the car’s plate number after the incident.

When asked about the evidence against him, Yu refused to talk and referred the reporters to his lawyer.

Meanwhile, the family of the victim said that they would never accept any settlement offer from Yu.
