The viral wedding on Amlan would reportedly be featured on the popular magazine television program Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho.

In several posts by local media, the couple on the viral wedding, Jove Deo Sagario and Janine Seit Suelto-Sagario, were spotted while being interviewed by the crew of GMA Network, which is possibly a sign that they will be featured on the magazine show.

The teaser received thousands of reactions from the netizens and hoped that KMJS would also interview the priest, as well as the “godmother” who reportedly caused the miscommunication between the parish and the couple.

They also expect the part two of the wedding to be featured on the show.

It can be recalled that the wedding went viral on social media after the couple complained on social media about how the priest, Rev. Fr. Jovencito Kho, rushed the wedding by starting the mass without waiting for the bride to reach the altar.

The parish already explained that they tried to rush things as the couple arrived an hour late, as the bride and groom thought that their ceremony was rescheduled.

The “godmother” who told the couple about the rescheduling already apologized to the couple and to the parish for the incident she caused.

Content creator Crissa Liaging published a cryptic post after Andi Eigenmann and Philmar Alipayo spoke about the incident involving the former and the professional surfer.

In a Facebook post, Crissa published a video showing her visibly upset expression.

“Nakakagigil sarap sabihin ‘yung totoo!!” Crissa wrote.

The post received criticism from the netizens, saying that she must take responsibility for the issue she started.

“Kahit sabihin mo pa ang totoo or hindi, kahit baliktarin mo pa ikaw parin may kasalanan. Kasi sumawsaw ka sa may asawa. The nerve na magapvictim,” netizen Julz said.

“Gurl you had it all coming for yourself in the first place because you know for a fact that it will stir drama, people will react to it, it would be hypocritical to say you didn’t upload it for attention. Focus ka nlg sa business, gurl, you’re thriving naman na what more can you ask for. You’re just adding fuel to the fire with all these shenanigans,” netizen Benjy remarked.

It can be recalled that Crissa posted a video of her meeting with Philmar in Siargao and added a romantic song, which quickly gained attention from the netizens.

Andi and Philmar said that they downplayed the issue.

The actress also said that she was confident that Philmar would never flirt with Crissa.

“Nakipag-usap lang. Siyempre kapag lasing, nakikipag-usap. Then, wala, uwi,” she said.

“I guess I know him well, I also knew what his type is,” she added.

Carlo Aquino’s former partner, Trina Candaza, confirmed that their daughter, Mithi, was not invited to the actor’s wedding.

According to talent manager Ogie Diaz, Trina clarified that Mithi didn’t attend the wedding, not because she didn’t allow her child to attend, but because Carlo didn’t reach out to her.

Trina said she would allow Mithi to attend if she was informed about the wedding.

“Sabi ni Trina, nasa kanya lang daw si Mithi at baka raw ‘yung iba ma-misinterpret na hindi niya pinayagan,” said Ogie.

“Si Carlo raw didn’t ask if puwedeng um-attend si Mithi. Pero kay Trina kung nagpaalala lang si Carlo, bakit naman hindi? E, hindi nga nag-reach out sa kanya,” he added.

Netizens couldn’t hide their disappointment in Carlo after they heard their side of Trina.

However, some fans believed that Carlo had a basis for why he didn’t invite Mithi to his wedding.

“May reason nman siguro kung bakit nde na pinapunta ni carlo ang anak nya. Syempre para hindi n masktan ang anak nya na hindi mami nya kinakasal sa daddy nya. Pero hindi naman siguro ibgsabhin nun eh balewala na sa ama ang anak nya,” netizen Royo said.

“Kung ako yung nanay kahit pa magsabi si Carlo, ako mismo hindi ko papayagan. Isipin mo sana ‘yung magiging reaction ng bata. Ikaw ang nanay, pero sa iba ikakasal ‘yung tatay, syempre maguguluhan pa ‘yan,” netizen Zayn commented.

It can be recalled that Carlo filed charges against Trina so he could gain visitation rights to their daughter.

Trina also said she would not allow Carlo to introduce Charlie to their child to avoid instilling “wrong values” in her.

Miss Toledo 2023 and Miss Universe Philippines 2024 contestant Kim Placibe expressed her grievance after the organizers of Miss Toledo 2024 reportedly canceled her farewell speech at the last minute of the event.

In his Facebook post, Kim called the incident “insulting” and even claimed that the organizers tried to control the things she must said during the event.

“I truly deserve better than that. I was already called ‘ungrateful’ by someone from the organization,” she said.

She believed that the decision of the organizers was influenced by the local politics in her area.

In a statement, Binibining Toledo admitted that Placibe was only informed about her possible speech a few hours before the show.

Because of the time constraints, the organizers decided not to push the farewell speech.

“Given her experience in the pageant arena, she understands the necessity of technical rehearsals for all stage proceedings, and it’s expected that she understands why her speech was not included in the program,” the organization wrote.

They also clarified that local officials were tasked to lead the coronation of winners instead of the reigning queens, which was far from the traditional practice of international and local pageants.

“This should not be a point of contention, as it has been an annual practice. The coronation of winners is a moment for the new queens and the new Binibining Toledo, and nobody should steal this moment from them, not even the previous queens, including Miss Placibe,” they said.

The “godmother” mentioned by the Parish, believed to have caused the confusion between the bride and groom at the viral wedding, spoke for the first time.

It can be recalled that the wedding of Jove Deo Sagario and Janine Seit Suelto-Sagario went viral on social media after footage published by the couple showed how the assistant priest of St. Andrew Parish in Amlan started the mass without waiting for the bride to reach the altar.

The issue caused the parish to be criticized on social media, which prompted the Diocese of Dumaguete to release an apology to the public and to the people involved on the issue.

They explained that someone told the couple that their wedding was rescheduled to 9:30 A.M from its original schedule of 8:00 A.M, but in reality, there was no change of schedule happened according to the official records of the parish.

For the first time, the “Godmother,” Charlene Sunico, ended her silence for the first time to explain the cause of the confusion that led to the disappointing wedding.

Sunico, who’s also serving at the Parish, said that she was informed by his churchmate about the said rescheduling and told the couple about it.

She refused to name the said churchmate and decided to just take all the blame.

After the wedding, she apologized to the couple and their family, as well as to the wedding guests and to the priest herself.

Sunico asked the public to stop criticizing the priest as she was the one who caused the confusion.

Netizens defended the priest facilitating the viral wedding held at Amlan on June 8, 2024.

The wedding went viral after Jove Deo Sagario and Janine Seit Suelto-Sagario aired their complaint on social media after Rev. Fr. Jovencito Kho allegedly rushed the wedding after the couple arrived late for an hour for the ceremony.

Kho received a tremendous amount of criticism from the netizens due to his behavior, but some Catholic faithful also believed that the Parish had a good reason to rush the wedding due to its tight schedule.

Some netizens who knew Kho personally described him as one of the best priests in their province.

They even blamed one of the sponsors who informed the couple about the unverified news that their wedding was moved to another schedule.

Another netizen also narrated how Kho rushed to the hospital to visit her sick father.

“Sa tingin ko nagkamali siya pero hindi naman umabot sa punto na siya lang ‘yung walang modo,” the netizen said.

Others already asked the netizens to stop criticizing the priest as they had already released a public apology and admitted their lapses during the wedding day.

As of writing, Kho has yet to grant an interview on the issue.

Jolina Magdangal received criticism from the netizens after she posted an open letter to Carlo Aquino and Charlie Dizon.

It can be recalled that Carlo and Charlie tied the knot on June 9 during a secret wedding celebration.

One of the celebrities who congratulated Carlo and Charlie was Jolina, who said that she was really rooting for the celebrity couple to become husband and wife.

“Sabi ni April [Charlie] sa vows niya totoo daw pala ang manifesting. However, some netizens raised their eyebrows after they saw Jolina’s post and even accused her of tolerating Carlo’s actions towards his former partner, Trina Candaza.

“Grabe naman caption mo jolens na “mapagmahal sa pamilya” knowing the fact na iniwanan nya magina nya. Oyan na bash ka tuloy! Kunsinti pa more,” a netizen said.

“Maganda sana kung naging mabuting ex si Carlo sa nanay ng anak nya, pede pa maintindihan ng mga tao na baka nga nag bago sya. Kaso sa pain na kinause nya sa maraming babae kagaya natin. Hndi sya credible na maalam mag mahal or rumispeto ng isang babae. Pano pa kung hindi sincere pag susustento sa anak? Madaming factor need iconsider sa ganyang klaseng lalaki. Hindi porket nagpakasal eh nag bago or matured na lalaki na. Buti hindi sila nagka tuluyan ni Trina kasi hndi nya deserve ang isang baby boy kundi a REAL MAN.” another netizen commented.

As of now, Jolina’s post has already been deleted.

Esther Lahbati made a response to the netizen who asked her to check Annabelle Rama’s posts on Facebook.

In her Instagram comment section, a netizen asked the mother of Sarah Lahbati to look at Annabelle’s recent Facebook posts about a certain “Chuckie,” which was believed to be a swipe against her.

“Tingnan nyo po ‘yung post ni Ms Annabelle Rama sa facebook oh,” the netizen said.

“Bakit no need abala lang sa akin. Thank you,” Esther responded.

It can be recalled that Annabelle took a swipe several times at someone she called “Chuckie” and even gave a clue that the person’s name started with the letter “E” and not the letter “S.”

Many netizens believed Annabelle was referring to Esther due to her past statements against Sarah’s mother.

While Sarah and Richard didn’t take swipe against each other, netizens noticed that their parents were actively posting indirect criticisms against each other.
