Blogger has a powerful message to the people who doubts Bong Go: “He knows the President like NO ONE DOES”

Special Assistant to President Christopher “Bong” Go has been criticized by several supporters of President Rodrigo Duterte amid the Kris Aquino vs. Mocha Uson issue because they believe that the man who’s also known as the ‘selfie king’ sided with the talk show host.

The criticisms started when Go said during the press conference on Wednesday that he was contacted by Kris Aquino and told him about the problems.

He told the media that Mocha Uson will apologize to Kris Aquino, however, the communications assistant secretary contradicted what Go told the media.

This gave speculations to some Duterte supporters and bloggers that Go threw Mocha under the bus.

Even blogger Thinking Pinoy criticized Go saying that Kris easily got his response, while his complaint about the victims of Dengvaxia is still not yet getting any attention.

“SAP Bong Go, ilang text ko na po sa inyo ang tungkol sa Dengvaxia pero wala pa ring nangyayari.” Nieto said.

On Friday, Bong Go wrote a message addressed to the people who doubt him for his recent statements.

He explained that he’s only doing what the President said and he clarified he don’t want to run for Senate.

“Ginagawa ko lang ang trabaho ko. Kapag inutos ng Pangulo, I will deliver. Wag po kayong mag alala, wala akong pangarap mag Senador.” Go said.

Several netizens were still not convinced by the explanation of Bong Go and continue to criticize him.

“Loyalty ko po eh sa bayan! Sana nmn bigyan nyo ng pansin ang dengvaxia victims. Sir isang txt lng ni kris aksyon agad kayo! Eh pano nmn yong txt ni TP para sa bayan din yun at sa mga batang buhay pa! Tabangi intawn ninyo sir.”  Netizen Kimwong Ortiz said.

In response, Go said that he’s always delivering all the important messages to the President.

“lahat po ginagawa namin. papa abot ko parati sa pangulo . alam ni tp (Thinking Pinoy) yan,”

However, Krizette Laureta Chu, didn’t joined the people who criticized Go and even tried to convince the others to trust the President’s assistant with her powerful message.

She said that only Bong Go has the most knowledge about the President’s decision and served the former Mayor of Davao City even before he became the leader of the Philippines.

Chu believes that Go is the most trusted man of Duterte and the presidential assistant  has a better knowledge about the President than all the Duterte supporter.

Sir Christopher Bong Go , you would not have had the privilege of being beside THE PRESIDENT for a long long long time if he didn’t have your trust and support.

People here should remember that and not put your expectations on Bong Go, as if we know how the President works and acts and thinks. He should do this, he shouldn’t have done that. We are not on the inside. We don’t have an intimate knowledge of what’s being said in the President’s chambers. Not even the most vocal of Duterte’s supporters know how the President chooses which issues to focus on and why.

Guess who does? Bong Go.

He serves the President we trust, the President we love. He knows the President like NO ONE DOES. No one among us knows the President like Bong Go. And the President trusts no one as well as he does Bong Go.

He is the most trustworthy of all the alter egos of the President.

That should serve us well to remember that truth whenever we feel like we know better.

Bong Go was there before Duterte was President. Let’s remember that Lang.

Several netizens agreed with what Chu wrote and they said that they would still support Go if he’s going to pursue entering politics.

“The boss has spoken!” Duterte says the he respects Mocha Uson’s right to freedom of expression

President Rodrigo Duterte said that he respects what  Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson posted on her Facebook page which offended Kris Aquino and resulted to a word war between the two ladies.

During the press conference at the inauguration of the Mactan Cebu International Airport Terminal 2, the President confirmed that he sent his apologies to Kris Aquino after the talk show host informed Duterte about what Mocha did.

He also talked to Mocha about the matter, but the latter invoked her right to freedom of expression, so he decided not to force the government official to apologize.

“Yes totoo yun, I said to Bong tell the other one (Mocha) for the incident because she works for me sa Malacañan. I asked Mocha to apologize to Kris, but there’s a verbal tussle there. She invoked freedom of speech.” Duterte said.

“Who am I now to (stop her). I do not control my (workers) she has invoked a sacred right, yan pa ang sacred, that’s guanranteed under the constitution,”

Duterte said that he was not disappointed when she got disobeyed by Uson, saying that also need to respect the people from his camp as he respects the opposition.

“Kasi ako mismo, sinasabi ko na it’s your right to criticize me. As a matter of fact, any policeman who disagrees with me, because of this drug problem… You can criticize me even the garbage collector,” Duterte said.

Yesterday, Special Assistant to President Christopher “Bong” Go said to the press that Mocha “will apologize” to Kris Aquino, however, several hours after the press conference, Uson released a video saying that she’s not going to say sorry to the talk show host.

Go informed the media that Kris texted him, asking him to take some action for what Mocha did.

He was also informed by Kris that she’s going to endorse her if he really wanted to enter politics.

In her last live video about the issue, Kris Aquino also reminded Go about his promise to her.

“Nanawagan na lang ako sa isang taong nakinig sa akin… Sir Bong Go, alam kong aabot ito sa ‘yo. Hinihingi ko sa ‘yo ‘yung sinabi ko na ikaw lang ang may kapangyarihan na gawin ‘yon. Sana gawin mo, dahil umaasa ako sa’yo. Sana po pansinin ninyo,” Kris said in a Facebook live video broadcast on Wednesday

This statement from Go has been badly interpreted by several Duterte supporters, saying that the assistant of the President threw Mocha Uson under the bus in favor of Aquino.

“Stand down. The boss has spoken. And unlike you, he’s not throwing her under the bus.” Columnist Jojo Robles said in his post after hearing the statement of the president.

Mocha Uson is one of the most loyal supporters of President Rodrigo Duterte during the campaign period.

Her blog which garnered millions of followers also helped Duterte to spread his message to the public.

Columnist told Kris to defend her niece who couldn’t graduate in UP: Pasok, Kris. Awayin ang UP dahil nilalapastangan ang pamilya nyo

Veteran journalist and columnist Jojo Robles are one of the supporters of President Rodrigo Duterte who came up to defend Presidential Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson from the criticisms that she received from the ‘queen of all media.’

Robles said in his post to Kris that if he really wanted to help or defend her family, the prominent talk show should also try to defend her niece.

Part of Jojo Robles’ post Photo: Screengrab from Robles’ Facebook page.

He claimed that the daughter of her sister is having a hard time in University of the Philippines, as the latter was not able to defend her thesis.

And because of this difficulties, the niece of Aquino might not finish college this year.

Jojo Robles also claimed that the niece of Kris tried to negotiate with the Department to reconsider her case, but the official refused, saying that their era has already done.

He said that if Kris really wanted to defend her family at all cost, she should also slam the University who turned down her niece.

You can read the whole post below:

Since defending your family seems to be your thing these days, how about helping one of your pamangkins in a thesis defense? Di ba matalino ka daw kasi alam mo lahat ng sagot sa “Game Ka Na Ba?”

Anyways, I learned that the daughter of ********** couldn’t graduate from UP Diliman this year because she was not able to defend her thesis. And she wasn’t able to do so because she didn’t do any work on it the whole term.

The kid tearfully asked the department to reconsider but was turned down. A department official was so incensed because Noynoy’s niece sounded so entitled.

“Hindi na panahon ng LP ngayon,” he said.

Pasok, Kris. Awayin ang UP dahil nilalapastangan ang pamilya nyo. Game na!

The post of Robles reached thousands of likes and shares from the netizens who were also angered by the recent move by Kris Aquino.

However, the original post has been deleted because of still not yet known reasons.

The issue between Mocha and Kris had already reached the national headlines and sparked a debate among netizens.

Some expressed their sympathy to Kris, including President Duterte itself, however, it didn’t make Mocha apologize to what she posted despite Christopher Bong Go, the President’s right hand said that the communications assistant secretary will apologize.

Writer explains why Kris Aquino commits a big political mistake by criticizing Mocha Uson

A writer from Mindanao shared his thoughts on the issue between Kris Aquino and Presidential Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson that started because of a video uploaded by the latter on her social media page.

Karlo Antonio David believed that Kris Aquino’s recent move was a “big political mistake” that might endanger her future plans if she decided to enter the world of politics.

According to his explanation, Aquino destroyed her only chance to convince that she’s supporting the current government and attain the support from the millions of the Duterte supporter.

She shifted allegiance to the Duterte camp when she picked a fight with Korina Sanchez. That received mixed reactions.

The Korean kiss was her chance to solidify her DDS cred

He believed that if Kris Aquino avoids being aggressive, the people might be convinced that she’s really now a supporter of the administration.

However, she released the wrong statement that resulted in another division and debate between the yellows and DDS.

‘There is nothing wrong with Duterte kissing consenting female supporters in a convivial and non-malicious context, just as there was nothing wrong with daddy or Noy doing so.’

That statement could have made her a crucial pro-Duterte figure: the catalyst for a pro-Duterte reading of the Aquino legacy (something which is very possible considering how Digong owes his political beginnings to EDSA). If she was trying to be a mole it would equally have worked better, as it would have worsened the already emerging divisions within the pro-Duterte camp.

But she instead chose to make it about her and her family being attacked by Mocha Uson, when Mocha was trying to say there was nothing wrong with what Duterte and Ninoy were doing (when Mocha Uson compares you to Duterte, you should be flattered). Kris Aquino could not resist playing the victim, and now she has made herself inconsistent.

She made it about her when, as Mocha’s soundbite now makes it abundantly clear, ‘this is not about her.’

This isn’t just about bad acting, this is about bad scriptwriting.

Two days ago, the word war between Uson and Aquino started when the actress posted a message on social media, saying that she got offended by what the communications assistant secretary posted.

Last week, Uson posted a video of Ninoy Aquino and President Rodrigo Duterte, receiving a kiss from their supporter to compare if there’s a difference between what the two leaders did.

However, Kris Aquino said that she was hurt by the video because the footage has been taken moments before her father was shot to death.

Despite of the pressure from the government and Aquino supporters, Uson chose not to apologize to the actress.

Kris Aquino to Bong Go: “Alam mo I will even campaign for you because I believe in you”

Kris Aquino offered her precious influence to help Special Assistant to President Christopher Bong Go if he decided to run for the senatorial elections in 2019.

Aquino sent a message to Bong Go to complain what Presidential Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson uploaded featuring her father Ninoy Aquino being kissed by her supporters before being assassinated.

When Go arrived in the Philippines, he was welcomed by the text messages from Kris Aquino.

“Bong, this is Kris Aquino. I am personally reaching out. We have been friends and my heart wants to believe you still have a soft spot for me. I will understand if you snub me because sino naman ako, pero sinaktan talaga ang puso ko sa ginawa ni Mocha.” Kris said in his text message to Bong Go.

Alam mo, never ako nagsalita o nag-post ng anything against PRRD (President Rodrigo Roa Duterte) dahil marunong ako rumespeto. Sana huwag lang ang mom at dad ko dahil nananahimik na sila sa langit.” she added.

Aquino also told Go that she’s ready to campaign for the President’s right hand because she believes in his personality.

Alam mo I will even campaign for you because I believe in you, but why leave the President? Why leave Malacañang?

However, Aquino also gave the warning to Go that if he runs for public office, some people might use it as an opportunity to destroy the President.

She believes that its possible that a traitor might occupy the post of Go that he’s going to leave once won the senatorial elections.

Why leave Malacañang? Baka ahas lang ang gustong kunin ang posisyon mo.” she said.

In response, Go insisted that he’s still not a candidate for the senatorial elections in 2019.

Please ma’am hindi naman po ako kandidato, so maraming salamat sa tiwala mo at sa paniniwala mo sa amin ni Pangulong Duterte.” Go said during the press briefing at the Presidential Guest House in Malacañang.

Go also apologized to Kris for the incident.

The assistant of the President also said that he doesn’t have any authority to give punishment or sanctions for what Mocha Uson did.

He also shared to the press that he told Mocha to avoid adding more fuel to the fire.

“Kung pwede ay wag na natin palakihin and she agreed naman na mag apologize nalang,” Go while quoting what he said to Mocha.

However, several hours after the press briefing, Mocha Uson didn’t apologize and contradicted what Go said to the media.

“This is not about Kris Aquino, tungkol ito sa paglalagay malisya sa isang halik. Itinumbas lang sa gawain ng ibang lider tulad ng tatay niya. Ms. Aquino this is not about you,” Mocha Uson said in her live video.

“With all due respect to everyone involved, I decline to apologize for the truth,” she said in another post.

Kris Aquino is saddened by the latest statement of Mocha, saying that his boss already apologize, but she still refused to do the same.

Mocha Uson to Kris Aquino: I decline to apologize for the truth, Kris quickly responds

(DEVELOPING)

Presidential Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson refused to apologize to Kris Aquino over the video that she posted comparing the kiss of President Rodrigo Duterte to an OFW in South Korea with the kiss received by Ninoy Aquino from his supporters moments before he assassinated.

Yesterday, Kris Aquino posted two social media message addressed to Uson, saying that she utterly hurt and offended by the video posted by Mocha.

Mocha said in her live video that the real issue is about the criticisms received by President Rodrigo Duterte after kissing a married OFW in South Korea.

She also told Aquino that the issue is not about her and she only compared what Duterte did to what Ninoy also committed

Meanwhile, Kris Aquino quickly responded on the live video released by Mocha.

“Sino ang humalik? Ganoon kasimple,” Kris Aquino said.

She also rebutted the statement of Mocha, insisting that she’s also involved in the issue.

“if it is about my father or mother, this is also about me,” she said.

Kris also pointed out that Christopher “Bong” Go already apologized to them, however, she was saddened because despite what the presidential assistant did, Mocha still refused to apologize.

“Boss niya na po ang nagsasalita, sinasabi kong boss niya kasi nag ta-trabaho siya sa Malacanang, at yung pinakamalapit at yung pinagkakatiwalaan ng Presidente, siya nagawa niyang mag sorry sakin.” she said.

“Pero si Miss Uson, galit pa, okay.” she added.

She also insisted that they’re not already members of the Liberal Party that being criticized by the supporters of President Rodrigo Duterte.

Kris is also hoping that Bong Go is going to stand by his statement that they’re also expressing their sympathy to the Aquino family.

Kris in the last part of her video said that this issue made her realize that many people still respect Ninoy and Cory Aquino.

“Mocha, you’re right this is not about Kris Aquino. This is a reminder that Filipinos still love and respect and Cory and Ninoy Aquino.” she said.

Netizen writes an open letter to Kris Aquino after criticizing Mocha: the Filipino people no longer buys your drama

Despite the mass support received by Kris Aquino after she criticized Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson, one netizen stood up and defended the latter from the criticisms of the queen of all media.

Mark Lopez, a staunch supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte wrote an open letter on Facebook addressed to Kris Aquino on Wednesday.

He believes that Kris only wanted to make a sympathy from her supporters.

Kris, according to Lopez was trying to overact again from a simple post of Uson, trying to compare the kiss received by Ninoy from his supporters and recent action of Duterte to an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) during his visit in South Korea on Monday.

Lopez also explained that Mocha didn’t insult Kris’ parents by putting Ninoy and Rody in the same video.

He told Kris that the one who started the fire are the opposition that also the loyalist of the Aquino family.

The supporter of Duterte said that Kris is trying to spin the issue and also using Mocha for her publicity.

Lopez even suspected that Kris’ sudden attack against Mocha Uson is another move by a PR machine to boost the popularity of the opposition’s senatorial bets in 2019.

Aquino even brought back the biggest issues that she faced during her showbiz career, saying that her mother is the only one who comforted her during her difficult times.

Ako nalang, hindi nila deserve ang kabastusan mo, dahil binigay nila ang buhay nila para sa mga Pilipino,” Kris said in her live video.

As of writing, Uson is still not yet responding to the message of Kris.

Duterte to the people who criticizes his kissing gimmick: Inggit lang sila, bad breath sila!

President Rodrigo Duterte downplayed the criticisms he received from the people who attacked him for kissing a married Overseas Filipino Worker during his visit in South Korea on June 3.

Duterte answered the reporter who asked the question about the kissing sarcastically.

“We enjoyed it, it was showbiz and everybody enjoyed,” Duterte said during a press conference after his arrival from his three-day official visit in South Korea.

Duterte explained that if his controversial kissing gimmick is pure of malice, he will not choose to do it in front of many people.

“Asking for malice, we do not do it in public if there’s malice. I would pull the woman down somewhere along empty halls,” he said.

He said that the critics might be only jealous on what he did to the lady.

“Ayaw ko makipagpalitan sa kanila (ng halik) kasi bad breath sila, inggit lang (sila)” he said.

Duterte explained that he has already kissed many girls in Davao when he was still a mayor.

“During my campaign in mayorship, I kiss every woman there, lips to lips. Ayaw mong maniwala? Tignan mo footage ng ABS-CBN,” he told the reporter.

He said that there’s nothing wrong with a simple kiss.

The critics have also reminded President Duterte to change their denture.

“Inggit lang sila sabihin mo sa kanila palitan nila pustiso nila,” he said.

The President also avoided answering when asked about the reaction of his common-law-wife Honeylet Avancia.

Duterte also expressed his concern about the reaction of his youngest daughter Kitty Duterte on what he did, so he might let cool the situation first before going back to Davao City.

Following the controversial kissing of President Duterte, several pro-women groups criticized the punisher for allegedly trying to show that he can dominate every woman anywhere, anytime.

The lady who kissed by President Duterte, Mrs. Bea Kim also defended the President saying that what they did has no malice and they’re just trying to make the audience happy.

However, the GABRIELA said that the Kim was not the right person to defend the President from his “misogyny” acts.

“It is also his own perverted way of getting back at his women critics, his way of proving he can dominate women at any time and any place he chooses. It is his way of publicly exhibiting his contempt for women.”
Gabriela said in their statement.

South Korean President Moon lauds Duterte: “I take my hats off to President Duterte’s leadership

President of South Korea Moon Jae-In during a joint press briefing at Cheong Wa Dae (Blue House) in Seoul lauded President Rodrigo Duterte for his effective leadership.

Moon said that the leadership of Duterte gave a boost to the economy of the Philippines which resulted in his popularity among the Filipinos.

“I take my hats off to President Duterte’s leadership which has enabled rapid economic growth and social stability, drawing great support from the people of the Philippines in the process,”

“The Philippines is currently working to realize national Vision 2040 under President Duterte’s
outstanding leadership,” he added.

He thanked President Duterte for his promise to protect the lives of the South Korean nationals in the Philippines.

Moon vowed that they would participate in the upcoming projects of the Philippines.

“In particular, I look forward to seeing the Korean companies’ participation further expanded in the fields of transportation, energy, and infrastructure through our cooperation in the new industries such as info-communications as well as science and technology. We will create the growth engine for the future together,” he said.

“President Duterte and I agreed to designate the year 2019 as the year of mutual exchanges between Korea and the Philippines to mark the 70th anniversary of the establishment of our diplomatic relations,” he added.

The South Korean leader also said that he’s hoping that more Filipinos are going to visit his country.

“I hope to see more people from the Philippines visit Korea as well,” Moon said.

1.6-M South Koreans tourists visited the Philippines last year, while 450,000 Filipinos traveled to South Korea.

“The people of our two countries will visit each other more frequently and enhance the understanding in communication among them,” Moon said.

Meanwhile, President Rodrigo Duterte praised Moon for focusing on attaining peace with North Korea.

“I commended President Moon for his vision of bringing peace, stability, and prosperity to the Korean peninsula. His selfless dedication is demonstrated by the historic Inter-Korean Summit (in April), which resulted in the (signing of the declaration),'” Duterte said

“The Philippines is hopeful that positive developments over the past several months will continue and contribute positively toward the goal of the denuclearization in [the] Korean peninsula,” he added.

In response, Moon said that the support of President Duterte would contribute to South Korea’s mission to maintain peace in the peninsula.

“His support will be of great help to us on our journey to establish peace on the Korean Peninsula. Our two countries will further strengthen our cooperation and that goes beyond the Peninsula to uphold peace in the region, he said.

According to the sources, South Korea offered $1-billion worth of official development assistance (ODA) to the Philippines.

The Philippines also sacked $5-B worth of trade deals from South Korean businessmen.

GABRIELA slams Duterte’s kissing gimmick: Hindi dapat yung babae ang nagpapaliwanag sa ginawa sa kanya ng Presidente

GABRIELA Alliance for Women slammed President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday following the kissing gimmick of the latter during his visit in South Korea.

In a statement that they released, Gabriela said that the lady who got kissed by President Rodrigo Duterte is not the right person to defend the recent action of the Filipino leader.

“It is unfortunate that the woman found it her obligation to publicly defend the act as “no malice”, when it is the President who is duty-bound to explain not only because it was upon his prodding but he is bound, as a public official, by rules of ethics to explain his unruly conduct,” GABRIELA Alliance of Women statement reads.

They also described what the President did as “disgusting theatrics of a misogynist President who feels entitled to demean, humiliate or disrespect women according to his whim.”

Gabriela believes that the recent act of the President is to show to his critics that he can control women anytime he wants.

“It is also his own perverted way of getting back at his women critics, his way of proving he can dominate women at any time, and at any place he chooses,” it said

They also claimed that the President did the gimmick to divert the public from other issues like extrajudicial killings and the rising prices of goods.

“His repeated acts of machismo is meant as entertainment to hide the reality of his rapidly slipping popularity due to the issues of extra-judicial killings, the TRAIN Law and the big-time corruption scandals now plaguing his rule.”

The statement of Gabriela has been released several hours after Philippine News Agency released a video featuring Mrs. Bea Kim, the Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) who received a kiss from President Rodrigo Duterte.

Kim said that there’s no malice involved when Duterte kissed her on the lips in public.

“Walang malisya ‘yun. Ginawa lang namin yung kiss parang twist lang ‘yun, pampakilig sa mga audience. Walang ibig sabihin ‘yun, promise,” she said.

Meanwhile, the palace said that the recent action of President Duterte was just a “playful act,”.

“Obviously there is no offended party here. The lady who was kissed has clearly expressed the view that she was honored with the kiss,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said.

“She did say there was no malice in it and I don’t think we should impute any when the woman herself found no malice in it. It was not an issue to the woman so it was not an issue to the president,” he added.
