Netizen tells critic that he agree that Duterte is the ‘dumbest’ President: “If he is the dumbest president, how come we are winning?”

Amid the issue of ABS-CBN shutdown, one of the popular social media users on Twitter and motivational speaker M.A. Buendía HD called President Rodrigo Duterte the ‘dumbest president’ of the Philippines.

“Duterte is the dumbest president of this country. You may disagree coz you’re dumb too,” Buendía said.

As a response, netizen Tio Moreno wrote a lengthy post, saying that he agrees with Buendía’s judgment to Duterte.

“I agree with you! That means, I ain’t dumb,” Moreno told Buendía.

At first, netizens thought that Moreno was also a critic of President Duterte, but after reading the next line of the latter’s post, they realized that he’s defending the chief executive from the ‘motivational speaker’.

Moreno showcased the achievements of Duterte who’s also lawyer after Buendía belittled the President’s intellect.

Here’s Moreno’s post:

Duterte is the dumbest president who’s able to topple down Oligarchs that have been abusing our Constitution without using Martial Law.

The dumbest president who’s able to provide free tuition fees for State Colleges and Universities.

The dumbest president who’s able to clean up Boracay, Pasig, and Manila Bay after being abandoned by the previous admins.

The dumbest president who’s able to end the life of the two topmost terrorists Hapilon and Maute. And signed Anti Terrorism Law for the security of the country in general.

The dumbest president who’s able to distribute the long-overdue Hacienda Luisita to the farmers.

The dumbest president who’s able to complete a total of 137,098 classrooms, 129 evacuation centers, 23,657 km of roads, 4,959 km of bridges, & 8,941 flood mitigation structures & drainage system projects as of May 2020 and there’s more to come.

The dumbest president who’s able to stop the tanim bala bullsh*t which causes fear and anxiety for our OFWs which is rampant during Pnoy’s time.

The dumbest president who’s able to distribute the agricultural equipment that were purchased by the previous admin but weren’t distributed for some political reasons.

The dumbest president who’s able to expose and jail local executives, judges, and other top officials in government like Sereno and De Lima.

I’d rather call him dumb because I am seeing actions than calling him “disente” and has done nothing.

If he is the dumbest president, how come we are winning?

As a response, Buendía blocked Moreno on Twitter.

In several speeches, President Duterte also made fun of himself by telling the audience that he’s a bad student.

“75 lang [ang grade]. Now if you give me 75 for my performance, fine. Hanggang diyan lang ako, anong magagawa ko?” he said.

However, Duterte said that the bad student is now the President and being served by his cabinet members who graduated as top students.

“Art Tugade, he was valedictorian sa College of Law sa San Beda. Ako, 75 lang. Pero sabi ko, halika, magtrabaho ka sa akin. Magtrabaho ka. Ganun ang buhay, kaya kayo diyan sa ano, dahan-dahan lang. Ang buhay, weather-weather lang. Tama talaga si ano,” Duterte said.

Isabel Rivas slams Vivian Velez after the latter supports ABS-CBN shutdown: “Walang kwentang tao talaga ito”

Veteran actress Isabel Rivas slammed Vivian Velez after the latter cheered for the decision of the Congress to junk the franchise of ABS-CBN.

A series of Facebook posts made by Velez who’s a known supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte celebrating the decision against ABS-CBN triggered Rivaz.

The actress also expressed amazement to Sagip Party-List Representative and Deputy Speaker Rodante Marcoleta who’s a known critic of ABS-CBN and led the grilling of Kapamilya Network during the 12-day congress hearing.

As a response, Rivaz called Velez a worthless and ungrateful woman.

“Walang kwentang tao talaga ito, sexy ka lang nung araw pero no brains ka talaga… nanaba na lang sana utak mo ng may natira ka pang indsutria na rerespeto sayo.. adding isult to injury ka pa dyan sa mga umiiyak na nakatrabaho mo, wala ka talagang kahihiyan… ingrata!” Rivas posted on Facebook.

“45 years kitang kilala, akala ko ako lang aapihin mo, hindi mo pala alam talaga salitang kaibigan no!!! True character on display here vivian velez, empathy man lang sana natutunan mo!” she added.

Velez then threw shade against Velez on a social media post and insinuated that the former was using drugs.

“Dating ‘ingiterang’ actress friend, putak ng putak at minumura ako dahil DDS daw ako. Tumitira ka pa rin palaka? #maTOKHANGkaSANA,” Velez said.

Velez worked at ABS-CBN in 2010-2011 and also in 2013-2014.

This is not the first time that Velez clashed with a celebrity on Facebook.

Last June, Velez received criticisms from award-winning actress Jaclyn Jose after the former posted a statement from Pinky Amador.

Amador faced controversy after she was video recorded while yelling and cursing at the staff of a condo hotel in Makati City.

Gawa gawa lang! Sen. Kiko Pangilinan says that President Duterte only invented the oligarch problem in the country

Liberal Party President and Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan said that President Rodrigo Duterte’s fight against oligarchy was only made up to curtain the real problems of the country.

In a statement, Pangilinan said that the real problem was many Filipinos were suffering from hunger and joblessness in the country.

According to Pangilinan, ABS-CBN has nothing to do with the problem of COVID-19.

Yesterday, President Rodrigo Duterte announced that he destroyed the oligarchy in the country without even declaring martial law.

“Without declaring martial law, sinira ko ‘yung mga tao na humahawak sa ekonomiya at umiipit at hindi nagbabayad. They take advantage sa kanilang political power,” the President said.

“Every election noon o sa ngayon o bukas sabihin nila sa isang kuwarto lang ‘yan, ‘O adre, sinong kandidato natin ngayon? O ikaw diyan, ikaw ang bahala sa ano ha, you raise the funds’,”  he added.

“Lima ata lang ang tao. Isang pamilya lang ang nag-uusap diyan. Ganun nilaro nila ang bayan ko. Kaya ako mamatay, mahulog ‘yung eroplano, p***** i**, I am very happy. Alam mo bakit? Sabi ko without declaring martial law, I dismantled the oligarchy that controlled the economy of the Filipino people.” he also said.

Duterte refused to name the oligarch he mentioned during his speech.

In the same speech, Duterte also discouraged his daughter Inday Sara to run for President.

Sen. Dela Rosa wants employers to give P1,000 monthy allowance to their work-from-home employees

Senators Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa and Francis Tolentino wanted the companies to give allowance to their employees working from home.

The two senators filed Senate Bill No. 1684 requiring employers to give a P1,000 allowance to their employees while they’re working from home.

It would amend the current RA 11165 or the Telecommuting Act.

“The onslaught of the COVID-19 pandemic has forced Filipinos to embrace the concepts of telecommuting and working from home,” the authors said.

“Working from home tends to increase utility consumption, particularly electricity. Residential energy use has risen due to more people staying at home. These additional expenses are out of the employee’s own pockets and for the benefit of the employer’s business,” they added.

COVID-19 pandemic raised the number of employees working from home after the government implemented community quarantine in the country.

While working from home put employees to a safer environment amid the pandemic, their expenses including utility bills increased.

“Assistance must be provided to the employees in order to cushion the impact of this new normal and make this practice sustainable,” they said.

President Duterte discourages Mayor Inday Sara to run for President: “Wala kang makuha unless gusto mong mamera”

President Rodrigo Duterte urged Davao City mayor Inday Sara Duterte not to run for the highest position in the country as she’s not going to gain anything from being a chief executive.

During his speech before soldiers in Jolo, Sulu on Tuesday, Duterte said that there’s more job in the country that has a higher salary than being the President.

“Sabi ko sa anak ko, kay Inday, ‘Day, p***** i** ‘wag mong pasukin ‘yang trabaho na ‘yan’. Puwera gaba lang, huwag naman sana masamain ninyo. Sabi ko, magtrabaho ka diyan? Wala kang makuha unless gusto mong mamera, ah kaya. Pero kung sabihin mo magtrabaho ka lang presidente? Susmaryosep,” Duterte said in his speech

“Suweldo mo 194,000. Ang ibang generals dito mas malaki pa sa suweldo ko, totoo lang. Sinabi ko kay Inday ‘wag kang mag-presidente unless you see something na kaya mo para gawain mo sa bayan. Pero if just a matter of ambition, lay off. Wala ka talagang makuha diyan, pagod lang,” he added.

However, Duterte stated that Inday may run if she felt that she wanted to serve the people without expecting anything in return.

“Unless you are driven by patriotism. O ‘yan, kung gusto mo talaga mag-service sa bayan mo. Kaya sabi ko sa kanya in English they say, ‘if you cannot stand the heat in the kitchen, get out’,” the President remarked.

In a press briefing, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque clarified that advice of Duterte to Inday Sara.

“There’s no gain to becoming a President unless you’re corrupt. It’s all public service, that’s what he’s saying,” Roque said.

Roque said that the Duterte doesn’t want his daughter to suffer due to the difficulty of being the chief executive.

“Malinaw naman po ang palaging sinasabi ni Presidente kay Mayor Sara. Talagang it’s a thankless job. It’s all sacrifice, walang return, and ayaw niya na ganyan yung buhay ng kaniyang anak,”

Inday Sara has yet to comment on her father’s advice.

Lolit Solis to Agot Isidro after criticizing Jinkee Pacquiao: “Si Agot naman kasi na lahat ng issue pinapatulan”

Talent host and showbiz writer Lolit Solis believes that actress Agot Isidro should calm herself and avoid interfering with the life of other celebrities.

Solis wrote an Instagram post about Isidro after the latter criticized Jinkee Pacquiao for showing two luxury bicycles on the internet amid the pandemic in the country.

According to Solis, the people admired Mrs. Pacquiao as she didn’t react directly to Isidro’s criticism.

“Sa mga mata ng followers ay talagang hinangaan nila ang pagiging ladylike ni Jinkee Pacquiao na hindi sumagot at sa halip mga bible verses ang posted answer,” Solis said.

Solis then questioned why Isidro seemed trying to be involved in every issue and trying to correct other celebrities who had different beliefs.

“Si Agot naman kasi na lahat ng issue pinapatulan at para bang isang aktibista na nakabantay sa mga kapwa artista niya na hindi niya katulad ang paniwala. Sobra narin politized ang mga opinyon kung minsan ni Agot na dapat siguro medyo magdahan dahan din at alamin muna ang issue,” she said.

“Regalo lang naman , gusto magpasalamat ni Jinkee, so post niya sa IG, so no problem sana, eh pinatulan ni Agot, hayan na,” she added.

Isidro on July 9, called Pacquiao a ‘Nouveau’ and urged the latter to be sensitive because of the current situation of the country.

“Alam namin na marami kayong pera. At kung ano ang gusto ninyong gawin sa pera na yun, wala kaming pakialam,” Isidro said.

“Pero marami rin ang walang trabaho at nagkukumahog humanap ng pera para may pakain sa kanilang pamilya. Puede ba, konting sensitivity man lang?” she added.

Pacquiao then clarified that she’s only thanking her friend who gifted the said bicycles.

Isidro who’s a known critic of the Duterte administration then addressed her followers after being accused of being jealous to Pacquiao’s wealth.

“Sinabi ko naman na wala akong pakialam kung saan ginastos ang kaprehan. I’m sure marami na rin ang natulungan. Ang sa akin lang, kailangan ba namin makita yan, sa gitna ng paghihirap na dinaranas ng nakararami?”Isidro said.

Former Wowowee Dancer RR Enriquez calls Raffy Tulfo show as a venue to ‘humiliate’ people: “Hindi responsibilidad ng isang tao na sumagot kay Tulfo!”

A former dancer of ‘Wowowee’ expressed her support to actress Janella Salvador who was featured in the popular radio and internet show ‘Raffy Tulfo in Action’ after her former production assistant complained about her unpaid salary.

RR Enriquez on her Instagram post also took a swipe against the show of Mr. Raffy Tulfo saying that people should not feel responsible for answering the complaints they received from the radio program.

“Yes I believe hindi responsibilidad ng isang tao na dapat sumagot kay Tulfo! Kaya may lawyer at hearing!!! May batas kaya dun tayo sa tamang proseso. Tulfo is not batas!” Enriquez said.

The former dancer also pointed out that there were people who got humiliated in every complainant being helped by Tulfo.

“It’s a show for helping and humilliating a person!!! Dahil sa kabila ng pagtulong ng isang tao, meron naman isang tao na, nahuhumilliate (nabubully sa socmed). Mali man ng isang tao yan, hindi kailangan iinvolve ang media para lang malaman at pagpyestahan at pagtawanan ng buong mundo yung taong nakagawa ng mali,” she said.

“Kahit ano pang mali ng tao hindi nya deserve to be put in that show,” she added.

According to her, no one deserved to be featured in Tulfo’s show despite the gravity of their offenses.

“Let’s say ofcourse some people deserved to be put in that show, kasi may mga abusado talaga pero again sa aking paniniwala, mali man sila hindi nila deserve to be in that show para mahumilliate,” she stated

“May mga taong they want to solve a problem na hindi involve ang camera. Privacy ang tawag dun,” she added.

Enriquez received criticisms on social media because of her comments against Tulfo, who’s being followed by millions of Filipinos.

“I just wish you never said TULFO is just a way of humiliating a person. Its program.and its host never forced anyone to be in that show. They respect if someone doesn’t want to be aired. You can air your opinion regarding Tulfo program but the word humiliating is already a judgment to one’s show,” netizen kathrynnalivio514 said.

“Anong batas sinansabi mo girl? Kaya nga lumapit ng tulfo para huminge ng tulong kc Walang Justice system sa pinas. Lets Say para lang sa may kaya tlaga,, Kung wala nman Kinakatakot why not just Give her side of the story.. dami pa alam ehhh,” marieleeyah23 commented.
