Jake Zyrus wows netizens after showcasing his ‘Charice Pempengco’ voice

Jake Zyrus became trending several times on social media because of his alleged failing career abroad since he decided to change his singing style to fit his identity as a transman.

It can be recalled that Jake, formerly Charice Pempengco decided to abandon his Mezzo-Soprano style of singing that made him famous worldwide and started recording songs with lower notes.

Jake’s decision to change his singing style affected his popularity rapidly, and just December last year, it was reported that his concert received poor attendance and bad reviews because people wanted to hear the singing of ‘Charice’ and not the boyish voice of the singer.

However, on February 3, several netizens were surprised by a video of Jake singing a high-noted song and proving that he can still be ‘Charice’ anytime.

Jake sang Making Love Out of Nothing at All by Air Supply in the video with his friends.

It can be heard that Jake can still reach the high notes, and netizens couldn’t stop themselves from asking if the singer had already decided to return to his old singing style.

Some netizens made their comments on the video and encouraged Jake to go back to ‘Charice’.

Yorme Isko Moreno lectures Ogie Diaz about moving on after election: “Hindi natin sila kailangang i-cancel”

A statement of former Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno has gone viral after he gave his thoughts about moving on after he lost the presidential election in 2022.

Moreno invited talent manager Ogie Diaz on the said show, and they talked about different things, including politics.

Diaz then told Moreno that he thought the latter was disappointing because he supported former Vice President Leni Robredo instead of the former Mayor, who’s a part of the showbiz industry.

However, Moreno denied that he resented Diaz, saying that he had already accepted his defeat after seeing the election result.

“Because in a competition may nananalo, may natatalo.” Moreno said. “Ang mga kaibigan mo, hindi mo sila pinupwersahing gustuhin ka. Especially kung leadership naman ang pinag-uusapan kasi kinabukasan nila ‘yun.”

“Showing those attitudes is respecting their beliefs and knowledge about a leader or ‘yung gusto nilang leader. Kaya ako wala along prejudice sa tao na.. “Ayan ang gusto niya eh.” he added.

It can be recalled that until today, some supporters of a losing candidate continued to criticize and ‘cancel’ the people who supported the winner of the election, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

Moreno said that people should stop canceling people just because they chose a different candidate.

“Hindi mo sila kailangang maging kaaway, hindi natin sila kailangang cancel-in, hindi natin sila kailangang awayin, pwersahin. You cannot get the real mandate na may suporta pa after election kung sapilitan lang ginawa.” he stated.

The video went viral on social media, and some netizens praised Moreno for accepting his defeat, unlike specific candidates’ other supporters.

Ogie Diaz made a short reaction on after being called ugly by a lawyer on Twitter.

It can be recalled that the well-known talent manager became a guest of former Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno’s online show and they talked about moving on and accepting the result of the election.

Ogie may be referring to Atty. Ferdinand Topacio’s comment says that Ogie can’t relate to their statement of Moreno because he’s ugly.

“Pa’no makaka-relate si Ogie, eh ngetpa siya. ”Ā 

In his tweet, Ogie just referred Topacio to as ‘Atty. Gasulito’ and admitted that he’s really ugly.

“Sabi ni attorney gasulito, ngetpa daw ako. Oo naman. Ubod ako nang ngetpa. Ang importante, walang nagsabing gwapo ka.”Ā Ogie said.

Netizens even shared their thoughts about Atty. Topacio.

“Nako, yang si Atty na yan, binangga kotse ko sa Lawton Ave some years back. Pagbaba ng kotse, ang sbe saken, ā€œhello! Do you know me? Iā€™m Atty Topacio.ā€ Sbe ko, ā€œNo, i dont know youā€. Kala niya ata papalamon ako ng buhay sknya. Ayon siningil ko.”Ā netizen @sml52262318 said.

“Hindi na nga siya gwapo, hindi na siya matangkad, hindi na siya matalino, hindi siya funny and all of those things can be negligible IF NOT FOR THE FACT NA HINDI RIN SIYA MABUTING TAO,” netizen @moaningdata remarked.

Topacio has yet to respond to Ogie’s comment.

It can be remembered that Topacio commented on Ogie’s post last year after the latter complained about the price of canned sardines in the country.

“Saan ka nakatira. Padadalhan kita ng ulo ng isda.” Topacio told Ogie.

NAIA apologizes for the unprofessionalism of one of their female security staff who frisked Enhypen members

Office of Transport Security (OTS) expressed regret after one of their security personnel working at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) couldn’t stop fangirling after frisking the members of Korean band Enhypen.

It can be recalled that fans of Enhypen expressed their complaint on social media after video featuring a lady security guard was taken while giggling in the middle of a security check to the members of the band.

Some fans of Enhypen called the security guard as unprofessional because she couldn’t hide her emotions that may made the members of the band uncomfortable.

They also questioened the guard still required to frisk the members of the band despite having x-ray machines already.

“You can see RikiŹ¼s and heeseung eyes, he looks so UNCOMFORTABLE Galing pa sila ng concert tas dumiritso na sa airport tas ganito pa sila ng isang i don’t know kung filo engene siya pero subra na masyado may scanner naman sana,” a netizen said.

OTS already launched a probe on the incident and vowed to determine if there were a breach happened during the incident.

They also reminded the netizens not to record the security procedure being implemented at NAIA.

“While we understand the excitement brought about by the presence of these Korean artists, we remind not only our personnel, but all airport users, that unauthorized filming at our security screening checkpoints is not allowed as a matter of policy,”Ā they said.

“Rest assured that the OTS shall never tolerate any unprofessional behavior towards the riding public.” they added.

In a tweet, Gab took a swipe against someone who has the power to ‘persuade people through gaslighting’, saying that the time of that individual was already over.

Some netizens thought that Gab was alluding to former ABS-CBN host Willie Revillame who was struggling right now because of the possible closure of his show on AllTV.

It can be recalled that it was reported that the management of AllTV included Willie’s show Wowowin in the flagship programs that needed to stop temporarily to prevent the continuous cash drain.

Revillame had gone viral because of his statement criticizing the netizens who were celebrating what was happening in AllTV.

Netizen Paul Ollie shared a video of a store owner who almost became a victim of a modus where someone would pose as a customer who wanted to reload an e-wallet.

The said customer wanted the store owner to send the money first before she gave the money.

Fortunately, the store owner quickly felt something was wrong, so she refused the customer’s demand.

According to the store owner, the customer wanted her to reload P10,000, so she became extra careful and asked for the payment first.

However, the customer didn’t follow the store owner’s request and started talking to someone on the phone.

The customer insisted on sending the money first, but the store owner refused.

“Wala naman akong nakikitang pera sa inyo bakit ko i-process? Baka mamaya i-send ko to tapos wala pala kayong pera diyan,” the store owner asked.

After several minutes, the customer left and just thanked the store owner.

Netizens already became suspicious of the customer and praised the store owner for being smart.

In a deleted post, Donnalyn encouraged the women experiencing pregnancy to avoid being insecure about the changes in their appearance.

Lian Paz couldn’t hide her emotions after OPM band December Avenue shared their music video to her about single parents.

The music video of December Avenue’s song Saksi Ang Langit was about a single father who raised his daughter.

In her Instagram post, Lian said that she can’t stop crying after watching the music video.

“Iyak ako ng iyak kakatapos ko lang mag mass hearing a painful yet beautiful testimony and right after, God showed me a message from December Avenue. Thank you @decemberavenue for your message and your beautiful song! Praise God!” she said.

Television host Willie Revillame has gone viral on social media after his emotional appeal to the public not to celebrate the decision of the Villar-owned AllTV network to stop some of their shows.

During one of the episodes of his program Wowowin, Revillame who’s also an executive of the network expressed dismay to the people celebrating the decision of the management.

One of the celebrities who took a swipe against Revillame was talent manager Ogie Diaz referring to the said incident.
