Influencer Jinky Cubillan-Anderson, popularly known as Madam Kilay, criticized other ‘vloggers’ like her who promote gambling games on their social media pages.

According to her, vloggers should not promote vices to their followers, and if they keep insisting on promoting gambling, they should stop calling themselves ‘vloggers’.

“Sa mundo ng vloggers hindi ganyan, pag sinabi na vloggers ka, vlogging ka [ay] kinukwento mo ‘yung buhay mo, kung ano ‘yung mga nangyayari sa’yo, sa paligid mo, sa buhay mo, yun ang pagba-vlog.” she said.

“Pero ‘yung mag-influence ka at mag-invite ka ng tao para magsugal, hindi na vlog ‘yun, bad influence ka na. Hindi na siya vlog, hindi ko na kayo matatawag na vloggers, wag niyo ng tawagin ang sarili niyo na vloggers kayo,” she added.

However, she understood that some vloggers only wanted to earn money, but she said that promoting gambling already showed their greediness.

“Kumikita na tayo sa vlogging natin, kada post natin kada views natin, kumikita yan [at] may pera diyan. Okay na sana don, gumawa ka nalang ng content na maganda, yung nakakapagpasaya yung nakakatanggal ng negative ng tao, positive na content diba, kumikita ka na naman doon,” she stated.

Madam Kilay received thousands of positive reactions from the netizens.

It can be recalled that some popular influencers were actively promoting gambling apps to their followers.

Some netizens already urged Meta to penalize the said influencers.

Amid the rumored marriage issue between John Estrada and Priscilla Meirelles, the actor decided to dedicate a post to his wife.

It can be remembered that Priscilla made a series of posts against a woman who allegedly entertained her husband.

The said woman was rumored to be Cebu-based model Chiyo de la Vega, who even posted her conversation with Priscilla.

In his recent posts on Instagram, John called his wife since 2011 his ‘one and only queen’.

“The love of my life, my wife, my one and only Queen.” John said.

The post gained thousands of reactions from netizens.

But a few people doubt if John was really the one who posted the said photos.

John was being called ‘playboy’ by some netizens because of his relationship history.

The actor was married to television host Janice de Belen from 1992 to 2001.

It was rumored that John allegedly had a relationship with his former colleague Vanessa del Blanco.

In 2011, John then married Priscilla.

In an interview, Janice said that she’s also contributed to her failed marriage with John.

“You have to leave the bad experience. Stop the blaming. I accept that partly, I am probably to blame also [of the annulment]. Hindi ko nagawa lahat ng gusto niya. I’ve forgiven them for what happened.” Janice said.

 

 

Prankster na ‘Tukomi’ muntikan ng tuluyan ng isang pulis sa gitna ng kanilang prank

Content creator group ‘Tukomi’ almost got into trouble after one of the people they wanted to ‘prank’ almost used his firearm against them.

In a video uploaded by Edwin Dodong Corpin, it can be seen that commotion happened while filming one of the pranks performed by the Davao-based influencers.

The police officer can be seen pointing his weapon toward one of the members of Tukomi, who’s wearing a balaclava to pretend that he’s a bad element.

They tried to apologize to the man repeatedly and even tried to shake the hand of the police, but the latter suddenly panicked again and tried to distance himself from the prankster.

Before the video ended, it could be seen that the influencer entered their vehicle.

This is not the first group that faced controversy because of their pranks.

In 2018, a man accused the group of taking away a job of a security guard because of their Fountain Swimming Prank.

However, they denied that the security guard had lost their job, and they received permission from the mall management to film.

In 2022, they faced criticism again from netizens because of their prank, throwing a black bag to a barber shop while dressed as a Muslim.

Unlike in other countries, pranksters might face charges in the Philippines because of several laws, it including unjust vexation.

TV5, interesado diumanong ipalabas ang Eat Bulaga kasama ng It’s Showtime sa kanilang istasyon

TV5 reportedly wanted to dominate the noontime slot by airing two of the top-rated noontime shows in the country.

In a report by Bilyonaryo, it was rumoured that the iconic trio of Eat Bulaga, Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon might transfer to TV5 amid the rumoured internal issue between the officials of Television and Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE Inc.).

It was also reported that TVJ was already talking to officials of TV5 as part of their plan to transfer to the station owned by Manny V. Pangilinan if ever that Tape Inc. founder Romeo Jalosjos failed to give their demands.

If the transfer happened, TV5 could air Eat Bulaga, and It’s Showtime back-to-back and dominate the ratings.

Bilyonaryo also reported that the greeting made by Joey de Leon to Vice Ganda was a hint that the two shows might join forces together in the future.

The said plan might become a big problem for GMA because if would be difficult for them to find a replacement to Eat Bulaga, especially to TVJ.

The Eat Bulaga issue has been disclosed after several showbiz columnists, including Cristy Fermin, revealed that there’s a power struggle happening between the executives of the noontime.

Jalosjos allegedly wanted Eat Bulaga founding producer Tony Tuviera, a close friend of TVJ, to retire.

It was reported that TVJ and other Eat Bulaga hosts might leave the show if ever Jalosjos insisted on his plans.

Tape Inc was set to release a statement on April 15 to address the rumours surrounding Eat Bulaga.

Priscilla Meirelles took a swipe against the alleged mistress of her husband John Estrada.

It can be recalled that model and content seller Chiyo dela Vega captured the attention of the netizens after she posted her conversation with Priscilla, who asked her about her relationship with John.

“Going to Cebu this April 6, let’s meet. Since you are so friendly. Bringing the whole family including him [John],” Priscilla told Chiyo.

Chiyo posted the said conversation on her social media page but deleted it later on.

In her recent posts, Priscilla made a message addressed to an individual believed to be Chiyo, making fun of the latter’s excessive use of face filter.

“Ganda mo sa picture. Siguro may lahi ka noh? Half Filipina, Half FILTER,” she said.

Priscilla also shared a selfie, showing her natural beauty with a caption hinting that she’s ‘ready for war’.

Some netizens expressed their support for Priscilla, who’s been married to John since 2011.

“Ung ang ganda mo tas ipapalit kalang sa p*k² na retokada,” netizen @hijara.18 said.

However, some advise her not to post about Chiyo anymore.

“Word of advice, DON’T lower yourself to the girl’s level. A student received thousands of praise from netizens after he was spotted helping his armless classmate to eat.

The 19-second clip has been uploaded by @mynewshub on their social media page, showing the kind student feeding his classmate who’s having difficulty eating because of his disability.

He was helping his classmate by using the stick so his PWD friend could eat without making so much effort.

The identity of the said students was not disclosed, but it’s already getting millions of views from Southeast Asian countries.

Netizens praised the student for being helpful to his friend and sacrificing his time to assist him.

According to some sources, the video was taken in one of the schools in Thailand and not in the Philippines.

However, some people said that it was not important where the video was taken and it’s already enough for them to see the kindness and friendship between the two students.

As of writing, the video has already reached millions of views online after being featured on several social media pages.

The upcoming movie of Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, ‘Barbie’, went viral on social media several months before its showing on July 2023.

Several netizens used the template of Barbie as their DP, and some celebrities also joined the hype, including Barbie Imperial.

Even Eat Bulaga host Joey de Leon joined the trend and reminded the netizens that he was the ‘OG’ Barbie of the Philippines.

In the said Facebook post, Joey shared a photo used in his 1989 film Barbi: Maid in the Philippines.

She even edited the photo using the template being used for the latest Barbie movie.

“Did you know that the real name of this ‘Barbie’ is Bartolome Del Rosario?” Joey said.

Barbi: Maid in the Philippines was directed by Tony Y. Reyes and is considered one of the most popular movies of Joey.

The said movie was followed by Barbie for President in 1991 and Run Barbi Run in 1995.

Joey’s character last appeared in the movie of Paolo Ballesteros Barbi: D’ Wonder Beki in 2017.

Several celebrities, including Maja Salvador, Tonipet Gaba and even Direk Tony, reacted to the post by Joey.

OPM Singer Jaya answered the criticisms she received from director John Lapus.

It can be recalled that Jaya, who’s now living in America, received criticism on social media after liking a tweet from a group against drag queens.

According to the said tweet from ‘Gays Against Groomers’ people should be careful with drag queens interacting with children.

John, who’s a member of LGBT community took a swipe against the 53-year-old singer who became popular because of her songs “Wala na bang pag-ibig” and “Laging Naro’n Ka,”

“Mga anak sino daw yung singer na panay ang like ng mga anti trans tweets dito?” said John.

Jaya then made a response to John, clarifying that she’s not an anti-LGBT.

“John I am not anti trans but if you will follow @againstgrmrs they are a group of lgbt that is against grooming young children here in America to get surgery without consulting with their parents,” Jaya told John.

“Sana you guys can ask me what is going on before assuming what I believe and am tweeting. Mas ok if magtanong muna. Wala kayo dito so you are not aware of our daily lives here.” she added.

She also addressed the netizens, saying that it was their right to unfollow her.

“Research and dig deep to form your opinions on matters that matter to you. Then have a respectful and honest conversation without making it personal. Once again, I am against children being exploited. That is it. Nothing more, nothing less. But if you like, you may also unfollow me. Love to you all,” she said.

“You are free to do, say and believe what you want – FREEDOM. Unfollow if you must. Thank you and this will be it for now. Will rest and pray for wisdom. Father in Heaven please take the wheel. Hello Kapuso! Willie Revillame nakatanggap na diumano ng alok na bumalik sa GMA Network

After deciding to end his contract with AllTV, Willie Revillame has received new offers from other major networks, including GMA Network.

In a report by Remate, someone was already trying to convince Revillame to go back to GMA Network, where his show ‘Wowowin’ was flourishing, before leaving because of the offer he received from AllTV.

AllTV’s offer was hard to resist because it included an executive post in the Villar-owned network.

However, because of the low reach being received by AllTV and uncertainties surrounding the network, Revillame reportedly decided to end his contract with the network.

According to AGB Nielsen Philippines, Wowowin’s ratings in GMA were higher compared to the 0% ratings he received when he transferred to AllTV.

The low ratings of AllTV’s Wowowin were one possible reason why the network stopped the show temporarily.

It was reported in March that Revillame was already in contact with GMA executives for his possible comeback to the Kapuso network.

When he left, the executives of GMA were generous enough to give Revillame ownership of the social media pages of Wowowin.

Revillame became a Kapuso in 2015, and the host decided not to renew his contract in February 15, 2022 because of his planned transfer to AllTV.

Aside from his possible return to GMA, the popular television host also planned to do a ‘world tour‘ to thank his fans abroad.

Kapuso journalist Arnold Clavio gave his thoughts amid Holy Week.

Clavio, who’s known for being religious, reminded the netizens about the sacrifices of Jesus Christ.

“Lord Jesus Christ died for our mistakes, and here is a day to commemorate his sacrifice. May the blessings of Jesus shine upon you this special day with his loving care. Amen.” Clavio said.

He also shared that Jesus would not be happy with cheaters, and people should be honest if they want to delight the Lord.

It can be recalled that Clavio faced controversy in 2020 after former singer Sarah Balabagan revealed her former relationship with the respected journalist.

According to Balabagan, she had a relationship with Clavio when she was still 17 years old.

Her relationship with Clavio, who was already 32 during those time, resulted in a child.

“Si Arnold Clavio. Siya ang ama ng panganay ko,” Balabagan revealed.

Balabagan thanked the wife of the journalist for forgiving her.

“Alam ko po na nagkasala po ako. Saludo po ako sa maybahay niya dahil nung malaman nya yun totoo, siya po ang nag reach out sa akin sa Messenger, ‘Sarah, I forgave you.” Balabagan said.
