Netizens urge Kat Alano to file a case against ‘RhymesWithWrong’: “Wag mo hanapin sa kaso ni Deniece ang justice mo”

Former VJ Kat Alano has been urged by the netizens to file charges against ‘RhymesWithWrong’ after the Supreme Court made a decision in favor of television host Vhong Navarro.

It can be recalled that the Supreme Court reversed the ruling of the Court of Appeals, reviving the charges filed by model Deniece Cornejo against the television host.

After the said decision was published, Alano made another tweet that gained the attention of thousands of netizens.

“So you gotta have frieeeends… Friends in all the right places, even when you’re wrong.” Alano wrote.

Netizens then made their comments to Alano, saying that it may be the right time to file a case against the ‘celebrity’ who allegedly victimized her in the past.

“Ok, in Deniece case maraming lapses kaya natalo.

Para sa sarili mong katahimikan, go! sue him!” he added.

However, some netizens also made their comments against Alano, challenging her to stop posting on social media and prove her allegations in court.

“Find a good lawyer and file a case and stop whining in socmed.” netizen Danica commented.

“Here we go again!!!

Actor and television host Vhong Navarro expressed his joy after the Supreme Court junked the charges filed against him by model Deniece Cornejo.

Vhong’s talent manager Director Chito Rono released the actor’s statement to the public.

According to Vhong, he almost lost his faith in the justice system of the country because of what happened in the past when the Court of Appeals revived the charges against him.

However, because of the recent decision from the Supreme Court, his faith to the justice system was returned.

It can be recalled that Deniece filed several charges against Vhong in 2014 claiming that the actor victimized her.

However, many fans of Vhong didn’t believe Deniece, citing that she was seen smiling while leaving the condominium unit where she met Vhong.

Former ABS-CBN journalist Jay Sonza couldn’t hide his disappointment after ex-Kapamilya actress Liza Soberano made a huge revelation about the commissions being taken from her by her former managers including Ogie Diaz.

It can be recalled that Soberano was working as an actress since the age of 12 and her perseverance bear fruit as she became one of the most popular actresses of this generation.

However, Liza said that she only receives around 30% of her earnings because of the commissions from her managers.

“I started with him [Diaz] at 2012 and then up until year 2015 or 2016 which was when I was seventeen thirty percent po ‘yung commission niya sa akin, my Tita Joni was taking twenty percent and Star Magic was taking ten percent.” said Soberano.

Sonza said that what Soberano experienced was clearly an exploitation especially since the actress was only a child when she was being deducted by big percentage from her work.

Sonza said.

“Juskolord!

Sonza then called the attention of the government agencies to investigate Diaz.

“This young lady was a minor then when she started working in the entertainment industry. Off hand, we could already see some legal infractions on four (4) laws, a presidential decree on Child & Youth Welfare and a republic act on Violence Against Women and Children, a possible violation of the Labor Code and the Immigration Code of the Philippines.” the journalist said.

“Baka naman gustong padalhan ng LOI (letter of investigation) ng BIR iyong manager, iyong guardian (uncle) ba yon? at iyong star magic/abs-cbn. Puwede ring kumilos iyong DSWD legal department for possible violation of PD 603 at RA on VAWC.” he added.

Ogie Diaz gives an advice to talent managers before taking new talents: ‘Ipa-psychiatric evaluation niyo muna’

Ogie Diaz gave a piece of advice to talent managers like him amid the issue he was facing after Liza Soberano’s revelation against him.

In his Facebook post, Ogie said that managers should evaluate the mental health of their new recruits to ensure that they’re fit to work.

He also suggested that managers should prepare a contract to ensure that the talent was really willing to work in a project.

“Tapos, ilagay na din sa kontrata na “in the absence of the manager, the road manager will be there for the talent. And if the talent doesn’t want the presence of his road manager, his own personal assistant shall be present from start to finish for the scheduled work or commitment.

It can be recalled that Ogie received criticisms on social media after Liza revealed that she only received around 30% of her talent fee because of the commissions from her managers.

Liza Soberano reveals that she only get 30% of her talent fee because of commissions

Liza Soberano made a huge revelation on how much she was earning during her career as an actress in the Philippines.

In an interview with Boy Abunda, Liza said that she only gets around 30-40% of her salary because of the commissions and taxes she was paying.

She bared the breakdown of commissions deducted from her by her former talent manager Ogie Diaz, aunt Joni and Star Magic.

“I started with him [Diaz] at 2012 and then up until year 2015 or 2016 which was when I was seventeen thirty percent po ‘yung commission niya sa akin, my Tita Joni was taking twenty percent and Star Magic was taking ten percent.” said Liza.

“I also pay US taxes alongside my Philippine taxes because I’m a US citizen and a Filipino citizen so my total take home was around thirty percent,” she added.

Because of too much deduction, Liza said that her managers decided to lessen the commissions because they saw how hardworking she is.

“My Tita Joni was started feeling bad for me that that was the situation so nag-usap po sila ni Tito Ogie na bawasan na lang ‘yung commissions nila from me because they felt that I deserve more since I was putting in a lot of work.” she stated.

“So eventually naging twenty percent na lang po si Tito Ogie, and si Tita Joni naging fifteen percent tapos ‘yung bawas niya was after Tito Ogie would take his commission and Star Magic was still at ten percent pero ang Star Magic po hindi kumukuha ng commission if it’s money coming from ABS-CBN so ang money po galing sa teleserye, sa movies, hindi po sila kumukuha ng commission its just from endorsements,” she added.

Her commissions before were too big compared to the deductions she was receiving from her new management.

“My only manager right now in the Philippines is Careless and they’re taking the same amount that Tito Ogie was taking and I have no one else taking anything from me so my total take home now is eighty percent which I think is fair,” she said.

‘Forevermore’ creative manager expresses disappointment to Liza Soberano: “Nakikipagplastikan lang pala siya.”

A former colleague of Liza Soberano couldn’t hide his disappointment after hearing the statement from his former colleague.

In his social media post, Jay Fernando, creative manager of Liza’s past television series ‘Forevermore’ expressed his sadness after realizing that what the actress showed towards them during the production of the said show was only fakery.

I like her then. I thought she liked us too nung NASA Baguio kami at nagtratrabaho. I thought she liked what she did. I wished she did.” Fernando said.

“Back then I thought we created magic, brought La Presa to life and created a beautiful moment in our lives. Hanggang ngayon nakatayo pa rin yun dun.

“I guess that’s how it is, nakikipagplastikan lang pala sya. I hope she finds success and joy in wherever she would like to go after burning the bridges. More than that I hope she finds herself and be well.”

It can be recalled that Liza made a statement against the people who worked with her during her career in the Philippines, saying that she lost her freedom and childhood because of her work as an artist.

Liza also admitted that she didn’t want to become an actress, but was forced to do because of the situation of her family.

Deniece Cornejo’s message to her ‘Kuya Vhong’ goes viral: “Ngayon panalo ka, pero matakot ka sa ikalawang buhay”

Deniece Cornejo’s message to Vhong Navarro went viral again on social media after the latter made a huge victory after the Supreme Court junked the case filed by the model against the noontime show host.

According to the decision of the Supreme Court on March 13, 2022, they decided to reverse the ruling of the Court of Appeals to revive the case filed by the Department of Justice (DOJ) against Vhong in 2014.

Because of the decision, Deniece caught the attention of the netizens again and some of them remembered her past statements.

It includes her famous interview in the now-defunct talk show Startalk where she became emotional while addressing her ‘Kuya Vhong’.

Deniece said.

She even considered businessman Cedric Lee a hero for saving her from Vhong.

Kuya Vhong, hindi ‘to pelikula, totoong buhay ‘to. May kalungkutan din na kailangan mong harapin.” she said.

Magpakalalaki ka.”  she added.

The said interview was so popular that ABS-CBN even made a parody of the said interview.

Ogie Diaz apologizes to his former talent Liza Soberano: “Nalulungkot ako bakit kailangang mangyari ito”

Ogie Diaz responded to the statements of his former talent Liza Soberano.

It can be recalled that Ogie went viral on social media after Liza revealed that she felt that her former talent manager was trying to ruin her reputation.

“It actually hurts me that he’s making up those lies about me. I feel like he’s trying to make it seem like I wasn’t profitable in the past two years we were working together when he knows the truth,” said Liza.

In his online program, Ogie addressed Liza and apologized if his former talent was disappointed by his statements.

According to Ogie, he was only explaining his side to the public.

Sorry, anak, kung in any way na-offend kita or feeling mo kinalaban kita or feeling mo kinokontra kita.” Ogie said.

The talent manager also expressed sadness over what was happening between them.

As of writing, Liza has yet to respond to the public apology made by Ogie.
