Ricci Rivero said that he was only stopping himself from revealing the secrets of his ex-girlfriend, Andrea Brillantes.

During an interview on the radio show ‘Marites University,’ Ricci complained about being portrayed as the bad guy after being separated from Andrea.

“Kasi ayoko na and sinabi ko ‘yan sa kanya paulit-ulit. So, I am the bad person here for not telling the public that I am single? She asked me not to let people know muna kasi baka masira ang image niya tapos nung hindi ako pumayag magkabalikan, sisiraan na ako bigla?” he said.

Ricci said he was extremely disappointed after being accused of not washing his clothes due to Andrea’s statement during an interview with Vice Ganda.

“Nanahimik ako sa detalye at tiniis lahat ang gawa-gawa nilang paninira d’yan sa mga laundry na ‘yan, sa mga gamit sa bahay para lang pagbigyan ang coping mechanism nila, pero sobra na. Wala naman nang mawawala sa akin, so bakit di ako magsasalita kung gusto pala nila ng detalye at hanggang ngayon hindi sila matigil sa kahibangan nila sa buhay ko,” he said.

The newly drafted PBA player also said that he might release some personal information that may tarnish the image of the actress if she would not stop talking about him.

“Pero kung pati future ko nakadepende sa pangit na nakaraan na ‘yan, hindi na ako papayag,” he stated.

Amid the claims made by former producer Robby Tarroza against Pia Magalona, an old interview of Francis Magalona talking about marrying the latter went viral on social media.

In an interview with TV Patrol in 1992, Francis expressed his willingness to tie the knot with Pia.

Megastar Sharon Cuneta admitted that she felt a little bit uneasy during one of the rehearsals of her reunion concert with her former husband, Gabby Concepcion.

Andrea Brillantes’ friend, Bea Borres, mulls charges against Ricci Rivero for directly mentioning her name in a tweet against her.

It can be recalled that Ricci went viral on social media after he retweeted Bea’s post and challenged her to reveal the secrets they knew about each other.

“Puro tweet bea gusto mo maglabasan tayo ng labada? Tara sabihan tayo kung sino talaga kumakabit? Hingi ka lifeline para may bala ka bago ka mag reply publicly for your publicity. Sayang pakikiaalam mo kung di ka kasama sa headline,” Ricci said.

During an interview on the radio show ‘Marites University’ last October 24, DJ Jhai Ho was informed by Bea that she was already consulting her lawyer on possible legal actions against Ricci.

“Ang kuwento sa akin ni Bea Borres, sabi niya, when I asked her kung ano ang masasabi niya regarding Ricci na ni-namedrop siya dahil sa post niya without naming names, sabi nito, sa ngayon daw, she’s now consulting her lawyer…kasi puwede siyang magsampa ng case ng cyberlibel dahil siguro doon sa sinabing about pagiging kabit. At pinangalanan siya directly doon sa mismong tweet niya,” the host said.

However, Bea said her decision was not yet final, and she might change her mind if Ricci decided to stop mentioning her on X.

“Sabi niya: ‘sa totoo lang naman petty lang naman ‘yung tweet and everything’. Pero kung magpapatuloy si Ricci…na magganyan pa rin doon sa X, baka talagang ituloy na ni Bea ‘yung pagsasampa ng kaso sa kaniya,” the host added.

Basketball player Ricci Rivero claimed that he was the one who decided to end his relationship with Andrea Brillantes, even if the latter was trying to rebuild their romance.

In a radio interview with DJ Jhaiho on the ‘Marites University’ show, Ricci said that there’s no third party involved in her separation from Andrea because he was already single when he met his current girlfriend, Leren Bautista.

He explained that he met Leren last May 26, almost twenty days after he rejected Andrea’s plead to him to return.

“Nakilala ko si Leren May 26. And alam nilang mag bestfriend na wala na kami that time. We broke up a couple times na early this year kaya magulo na talaga. Nakikipagbalikan siya and nung last time na May 6 sinabi niya na wala na, end na because of the girl na alam naman niya na kasama ng friend ko yun na pumunta doon so paanong overlap doon Jai?” he said.

According to him, even during late hours, Andrea tried to visit him to ask him to resolve their relationship problems, but Ricci said it was already over for them.

Several days after returning from Facebook, motivational speaker Rendon Labador was facing another issue after the Philippine National Police (PNP) flagged his coordination with the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group (ACG).

On October 20, 2023, Rendon went viral on social media after he published a live video of the operation conducted by ACG against an online lending company in Makati City.

The faces of the employees working at the said company were seen, which prompted several family members of the accused to rush to the office of the lending company to criticize Rendon.

On Monday, PNP said that they were planning to investigate Rendon and ACG for the incident.

“We are looking into this…Definitely, we don’t encourage ‘yung ganung klaseng actions. We’ll be making some directives and we will initiate measures so as to assure we don’t repeat the same incident,” PNP chief General Benjamin Acorda Jr. said.

Acorda cited that Rendon possibly didn’t follow the Revised Media Relations Policy of PNP, where it was indicated that no one should be allowed to record the actual operations of the authorities.

Meanwhile, Rendon was not happy with the investigation launched by the PNP against him, saying that he was only promoting the good deeds of ACG.

“ANO ANG KASO KO??? Na tumulong ako sa mga biktima? Na pinakita ko lang accomplishment ng PNP ACG na hindi naman ninyo pinapansin dati??? Lahat ng haharang harang sa advocacy kong makatulong sa taumbayan hindi ko kayo uurungan,” said Rendon.
