Danica Sotto’s best friend, Pebbles Duque addressed the netizens following the cheating issue being faced by the former’s husband, Marc Pingris.

It can be recalled that several netizens questioned why Marc and actress Kim Rodriguez were spotted in the same place, twice; one was in Sydney, Australia, and the other was at an expressway stopover.

According to some netizens, there must be no coincidence that Marc and Kim were in the same place.

However, Pebbles insisted that there was no truth about the allegations, saying that Marc and Danica have a beautiful family.

“Ay nako. He won’t do that. Maraming priorities si Marc. They have a beautiful family,” said Pebbles.

Pebbles also said Marc posted the photo last February 16, while Kim posted hers just recently.

Some supporters of Kim and Marc also said that people should stop speculating until there was no concrete evidence to support their claim.

“Kayo naman! Kung nagkita kami ni Kim Chiu, kami na ba agad? Grabe kayo! Pero sabagay mga marites dyan alert kayo!” Dr. Richard Mata said.

As of this writing, Marc, Danica, and Kim have yet to respond to the issue.

Veteran columnist Cristy Fermin discussed the possible reasons why Xian Lim decided to end his 11-year relationship with Kim Chiu.

In their latest episode, Cristy, Rommel Chika, and Wendell Alvarez explored Xian’s relationship with Kim’s family.

According to Cristy, there were rumors that Kim’s family disliked Xian.

“Kapag isinasama pala ito ni Kim sa Cebu, hindi pala ito dumidiretso sa bahay nila Kim,” said Rommel Chika. “Nagho-hotel pala itong si Xian Lim, si Kim Chiu lang ang umuuwi,”

The veteran columnist then said that Xian should’ve done some efforts to gain the approval of Kim’s family.

“Tapos sasabihin niya hindi siya tanggap ng pamilya ni Kim, siya dapat ang naglalapit ng kanyang sarili sa mga kapatid ni Kim,” Cristy said.

“Siya dapat ang gumagawa ng paraan kasi siya ‘yung may gusto dapat niligawan niya yung mag-anak ni Kim,” Rommel responded.

Cristy believed it was Xian’s fault that Kim’s family disliked him until the end.

“Kung tunay kang nagmamahal, mamahalin mo talaga dapat ‘yung mga taong mahal ng mahal mo,” she stated.

“At tsaka kung tunay mong mahal, dapat kahit ano pa, kahit harangan man sibat mananatiling tapat,” Rommel followed.

As of writing, Xian and Kim have yet to reveal the reason for their breakup.

Meanwhile, the actor was rumored to be in a relationship with producer Iris Lee.

It’s Showtime fans couldn’t hide their excitement after several footage revealed the guesting of the said noontime show hosts on the game show Family Feud.

According to some photos uploaded on social media, It’s Showtime hosts, Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario, Amy Perez, Ogie Alcasid, Jugs Jugueta, and Teddy Corpuz would appear on the said episode.

However, several netizens asked why Karylle didn’t join her co-hosts on Family Feud.

“Sana present si Ate Karylle,” netizen Kath said.

“Si Karylle feeling bitter pa kay Dong. Pati nung nagvisit si DongYan para magpromote ng Rewind sa Showtime absend rin sya,” netizen Dia said.

“Mabuti naman na wala c Karylle selosa pa naman si Marian,” netizen Reicah said.

Karylle was the ex-girlfriend of the Family Feud host.

It can be recalled that in 2008, Karylle revealed that she already ended her relationship with Dingdong, amid the rumors that the actor was already dating his now-wife, Marian Rivera.

“Well, for me there were many reasons that can’t be summed up in just one statement. It’s hard to trivialize things na, you know, this is the only reason and it’s up to the people to figure it out, na bahala na kayong intindihin. Maraming rason kasi, eh. You know, even if we keep on explaining or making kuwento, it’s only the two of us who know everything. People won’t get the whole story,” she said.

Karylle even said that she trusted Dingdong.

“Basta ang masasabi ko lang diyan…I asked him and he said…teka, ano ba ang sinabi niya? He said he never cheated on me and I trusted him,” Karylle responded when asked if Dingdong became faithful to her.

She was also not present during Dingdong and Marian’s guesting on It’s Showtime last December 16.

Former host of ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya,’ Paolo Contis, said he didn’t see any problem if he became one of the hosts of It’s Showtime.

In an interview with 24 Oras, Paolo said he would never refuse to work with their former competitor, who just recently transferred to GMA Network.

Paolo’s ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’ ended its short tenure on GMA Network and was replaced by It’s Showtime.

“Lahat, kaibigan ko naman sila eh. Kaibigan ko karamihan sa kanila. Si Ogie [Alcasid], si Vice [Ganda], I’m very close to Vhong [Navarro],” said Paolo.

“Lahat naman ‘yan, very open tayo,” he added.

The Kapuso actor also clarified that he felt no disappointment towards his network for being replaced by another show.

“I wanna thank GMA for always supporting me, for always supporting the show. May kumalat po na may tampo ako sa GMA. Hindi po ‘yun totoo, pero pagbigyan na po natin ‘yung mga nagkakalat noon,”  he stated.

“Content po nila ‘yun, para po sa kanila ‘yun, pero it’s not true. I love GMA, and I’m very thankful to GMA. They’ve been supporting me during the time na kahit hindi ako kasupo-suporta. So walang dahilan para magtampo ako sa GMA,” he added.

As of writing, Showtime management has yet to comment on whether they will work with Paolo.

Vice Ganda couldn’t stop himself from taking a swipe to veteran columnist Cristy Fermin, following the latter’s recent criticism against him.

In his tweet, Vice posted a meme showing an odd looking creature and one of them were being called as ‘Nay’ like what Cristy was being called in the entertainment industry.

Actress Krissha Viaje warned her fans about certain individuals who were pretending to be her on other social media platforms.

In her Instagram post, Krissha shared a chat from a follower who asked her if she was really selling her used undies on messaging app Telegram.

“May photo ko nakita sa TG. Nagbebenta ka daw used undies?” the follower asked.

“Nope. Scam,” she responded.

When the follower insisted that the seller seemed legitimate, Krissha just let the fan judge it by himself.

“Edi go. Good luck kung kaninong panty yan,” she stated.

“Bago pa kayo magsayang ng pera, ako na po nagsasabi, di ako nagbebenta neto. Wag kayo paloko. Thanks,” she wrote in another Instagram post.

The post received mixed reactions from the netizens and even urged the actress to report the people who were pretending to be her to the authorities.

The composer of the viral song “Selos” admitted that he was a fan of Australian singer Lenka.

It can be recalled that Selos, which Shaira Moro performed, was removed from online platforms after they allegedly copied the melody of one of Lenka’s songs, “Trouble is a Friend.”

According to AG, the composer of Selos, he was a fan of Lenka due to her songwriting style.

He also insisted that they didn’t mean to copy the whole song.

“I’m a big fan talaga ni Lenka kasi ‘yung songs niya masyadong witty, madaling masabayan.  From the day na pag-upload pa lang namin, nag-disclaimer kami sa pag-upload namin kasi iniiwasan natin ‘yung mga infringement or something,” said AG.

AG also gave an update on their communication with Lenka’s camp.

“Nag-email sa amin ang kampo ni Idol Lenka about du’n sa claim nila ng intellectual property. Inaayos namin ‘yung pagkuha ng cover license para daw malagay na sa legal,” said AG.

“Ang nangyayari is parang settlement na lang dahil naiintindihan nila kami na talagang admire lang talaga kami sa idol namin na si Lenka,” he added.

It can be recalled that several netizens swarmed Lenka’s social media page to inform her about Selos, which sparked a discussion on copyright.

The Gutierrez family celebrated Kai’s 6th birthday without his mother, Sarah Lahbati.

In an Instagram post, Ruffa Gutierrez posted several photos taken during the Minecraft-themed birthday party of Kai, who’s the second child of Richard Gutierrez and Sarah.

“Always be a good boy and study hard, cutie Kai. Thank you for being a blessing to all of us. We love you!” she said.

However, some netizens noticed the absence of Sarah, saying that Kai’s mother should also be present during the special day.

“Medjo Nakaka sad din situation ng mga bata Hindi na cla buo na family.. Sana mabalik nila dati happy family together.. HBD Kai,” netizen @baimeah said.

Some netizens expected that the Lahbati family would organize a separate birthday party for Kai.

It can be recalled that Richard and Sarah were already separated due to still unknown reasons.

Meanwhile, Richard and Sarah’s parent gave hints on the reason why the two decided to call it quits.

Bayambang, Pangasinan Mayor and former Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition 1 contestant Nina Jose talked on the viral video where she was seen complaining about the smell of the microphone she used during an event.

In an interview with Ogie Diaz, Nina said that she was only trying to be true to herself as the microphone really smelled bad.

“Kausap ko nga si Mayora over the phone at sabi nga niya na sobra siyang bina-bash ng ilang netizens, ‘e, nagpaka-totoo lang naman ako,” Ogie said while narrating his interview with the public official.
