It’s Showtime host Kim Chiu went viral again on social media after she repeated the same request she made to Janella Salvador.

In the Monday episode of It’s Showtime, singer and actress Alexa Ilacad, who’s promoting her single “Believing In Magic” was asked by Kim to give a sample of her newest craft.

Alexa didn’t hesitate to grant Kim’s request, but some It’s Showtime hosts couldn’t stop reacting to the latter.

“Ayan na naman si Kim,” Jhong Hilario said.

It can be recalled that Kim and Janella’s fans clashed on social media after the It’s Showtime host asked the latter if she could give a sample of her song “Headtone,”

Janella refused and even told Kim to do her own request.

“Medyo paos ako today, kayo na lang. Next time, promise,” she said.

Kim’s fans couldn’t stop taking a swipe against Janella.

“Ganyan dapat pag may ipopromote na kanta iparinig sa madlang pipol. What a beautiful song by Alexa,” netizen Kimmy said.

However, some netizens also questioned if Kim intentionally repeated the same request to ignite the issue between her and Janella.

“Nakakahiya no, hindi man lang sila nag-release ng public statement about sa nangyari kay Janella. Malalakas ang loob kasi tumaas ratings, preach ng preach about love and equality pero hindi nila magawa yung sinasabi nila. Ang yayabang,” netizen Malibu said.

“Kimmy needs to stop being so childish about the issue. Siya ang mas nauna sa showbiz, siya ang mas nakakatanda, alam niyang walang mini-mean na masama si Janella, pero until now kaladkad pa rin yung issue,” netizen Royal remarked.

BB Gandanghari, formerly Rustom Padilla, shared an untold story behind the separation between him and Carmina Villaroel.

In her vlog, BB insisted that Rustom truly loved Carmina and even wanted to build a family with her.

However, BB shared that Rustom had an inner desire at the bottom of his heart, which prevailed over continuing his marriage with Carmina.

“Marami ang nagtatanong, minahal ko raw ba talaga si Carmina? Honestly and true, oo. Ang pinakamasakit na nangyari kay Rustom, nung dumating sa panahon na kailangan na silang maghiwalay. It’s the fact na they thought they found the right love, para kay Rustom,” BB said.

“Pero hindi na rin niya ipinaglaban kasi, at that time, binibigyan nila ng pagkakataon ang sarili nila na mag-isip. Napakabait ng Diyos, I hope si Carmina, ganito rin ang pakiramdam. I don’t wanna be selfish about it, pero itinuturing kong blessing si Carmina sa buhay ni Rustom.

“Ano ba ang pangarap ni Rustom? Magkaroon ng pamilya, magkaroon ng mabuting asawa, magkaroon ng mga anak, maging mabuting asawa, maging mabuting provider.

“Yun ang pangarap ni Rustom. And Rustom thought na si Carmina din yung babae para sa kanya to fulfill that dream, pero sa paglipas ng panahon, nagkakaroon ng mga natutuklas mo kung ano ba yung katotohanan sa kaibuturan ng puso mo.”

The model said that if there would be a chance for her to return as Rustom, she would court Carmina again.

“Kung ako magiging lalake ulit, babalik, siya pa rin liligawan. Hindi ko naman naiisip noon na bilang Rustom, magpapatawag ako na BB after 21 years or 31 years? I really don’t know. Sabi ko nga, it may be the right love, but hindi lang wrong time, but wrong body,” she stated.

According to her, she was deeply affected by Carmina’s decision to leave.

“Dumating sa punto na nagdesisyon si Carmina to move on. Isa sa mga pinakamasakit na panahon, you can just imagine, isang tao na pinaka-importante sa iyo, nagpapaalam. So Rustom was really devastated, pero hindi na siya nag-disagree. It was a very amicable separation, walang sigawan, walang sumbatan, pero pinakamasakit,” BB said.

Carmina and Rustom got married on June 24, 1998.

Their marriage was annulled in 2002 after Carmina filed a petition due to Rustom’s over-protectiveness, jealousy, insecurity, and also inactivity in making love with her.

BB has yet to meet Carmina since her transition.

Actress Sunshine Cruz admitted she regretted her decision in the past to accept daring roles, saying that the ghost of her former self was still following her.

In an interview with Boy Abunda, Sunshine said that even her children were affected by the remarks of some people who were aware of her showbiz career.

“I get affected kasi ‘yung mga bata dapat hindi nadadamay pero ngayon naisip ko ang importante kung talaga ‘yung mga nakakakilala sa’kin at naiintindihan ako at mahal ako,” she said.

She also informed her children, Angelina, Samantha, and Angel about her past roles.

“Nung time na ready na sila at kahit papano ay maiintindihan na nila ako, dun ko sinabi sa kanila. Hangga’t maaari kasi gusto ko sa’kin manggagaling hindi sa ibang tao,” she stated.

Sunshine also revealed that her showbiz history also became a big factor in why her relationship with actor Cesar Montano failed.

“There was a time na ni-regret ko ‘yun especially naging malaking parte ‘yun ng aming separation ng aking ex-husband. But at the end of the day, mas naging stronger ako; mas natuto ako,” she stated.

Despite the challenges she faced, Sunshine proved her in showbiz without doing daring roles.

“Ang ginawa ko lang, mas pinatunayan ko sa mga tao na hindi lang ako sexy star. I can also be a singer, I can be an actress, and most especially, I am a good mom. I know that for a fact. Lahat naman tayo nagkakamali, nagkakaroon ng maling desisyon noong mga bata pa tayo. Pero ang importante ay kung ano tayo ngayon.”,” she said.

Veteran columnist Cristy Fermin and her co-hosts, Rommel Chika, and Wendell Alvarez discussed the circulating quote card, which showed the alleged statement made by Maine Mendoza on the romantic rumors between Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards.

In her program, Cristy read the said photo card, which was uploaded by an entertainment page.

“Ang sabi raw niya: ‘Ako, walang problema with Kathryn. She deserves to be happy. Pero with Alden, kung manliligaw ka panindigan mo. Totohanin mo! ‘Wag kang paasa!’ Isipin mo, sasabihin ba ni Maine Mendoza ‘yan?” said Cristy.

Social media personality and entrepreneur Deo Jarito Balbuena, popularly known as “Diwata” was reportedly not in the mood to interact with some of the vloggers who visited him in his Paresan.

A video posted by Jolevic Vlog showed how many people were lining up just to see Diwata and taste his ‘Pares Overload’ in Pasay City.

Some lucky fans, including Jolevic, were fortunate to take a picture of Diwata, but as he stayed longer, the more people swarmed him, which forced him to quickly depart.

In a past interview, Diwata asked his visitors to know their limitations when they’re visiting his establishment.

“Mayroon na tayong kitchen so kailangan na natin ng limitasyon, wag kayong magagalit kapag hindi kayo pinayagan dahil karapatan ko naman ‘yan,” he stated.

Aside from managing his business, Diwata was also doing his part in FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.

Netizens couldn’t stop comparing Bea Alonzo’s dance during the homecoming of drag performer Marina Summers to Julia Barreto’s viral dance in 2022.

Veteran columnist Cristy Fermin made another direct criticism against It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda.

In her program, “Showbiz Now Na!” Cristy said that Vice’s arrogance was inborn and no one could change his attitude anymore.

“‘Yun na siya, innate na ‘yon, ipinanganak siya kakambal na ng kanyang inunan ‘yung kayabangan,” said Cristy. “Yung kayabangan niya, ‘yung pagiging hambog niya na sinasabi ng ating mga kababayan, pag-aralan po nating mabuti – may dahilan ‘yon,” 

“May mga kulang po na kailangan niyang punan, may mga butas na dapat niyang takpan kaya dapat ay unawain natin siya sa pagiging mayabang,” she added.

She also disclosed that many homegrown talents of GMA were not happy with It’s Showtime’s transfer to the Kapuso Network.

“Tandaan niyo, walang masyadong nag-welcome sa inyo na artist ng GMA,” Cristy’s co-host, Rommel Chika said.

“Hindi man pinaramdam ng harapan at lantaran sa inyo, kumakalat po ang impormasyon na maraming artista, mga homegrown talents ng GMA 7 na hindi natuwa sa pagpasok ninyo sa GMA 7, alam natin ang katotohanan diyan,” she said.

As of writing, Vice has yet to give his response to Cristy.

It can be recalled that GMA Network and ABS-CBN made a historic partnership to air It’s Showtime on the Kapuso Network.

However, some reports claimed that the contract between It’s Showtime and GMA Network was only limited as they’re still testing if the Kapamilya show’s ratings would perform well.

Talent manager Ogie Diaz surprised the netizens after he confirmed that Kathryn Bernardo was being courted by both Alden Richards and Jericho Rosales.

In his online program, Ogie, who’s known for his accurate showbiz news, said that two men were trying to chase Kathryn’s sweet “yes,” just months after her separation with Daniel Padilla.

“Ang sabi din ng aking source ay nanliligaw din daw itong si Jericho Rosales kay Kathryn Bernardo.” said Ogie.

Ogie said that Kathryn’s family was in favor of Alden.

“Pero kung botohan at botohan daw sa pamilya ni Kathryn, parang mas boto sila kay Alden,” he stated.

“Makikita naman daw ‘yan sa kanilang body language… at gustong-gusto raw ng pamilya ni Kathryn si Alden… kasi daw… lalo daw kay Mommy Min… si Alden ay isang negosyante, si Alden ay financial stable, responsable, kaya raw natutuwa at naaaliw kay Alden ‘yung pamilya ni Kathryn,” he added.

Aside from being an actor, Alden also owned several businesses, which made him an ideal boyfriend for Kathryn.

However several fans believed it was too early for the two men to court Kathryn since she just came from an 11-year relationship with Daniel.

Meanwhile, Kathryn has yet to give any statement if she is open already to another relationship.

Veteran columnist Cristy Fermin believed that TV5’s noontime show, Eat Bulaga was not pressured despite the transfer of It’s Showtime on GMA Network.

In her program, “Showbiz Now Na!” Cristy denied that TV5 called Eat Bulaga’s TVJ Productions for an emergency meeting due to financial problems and decreasing ratings.

According to her, it was It’s Showtime that was being pressured to surpass Eat Bulaga.

“Yong nagpapakalat po ng kuwento na nag-emergency meeting daw po ang Tito, Vic, Joey at ang Media Quest, wala pong katotohanan ‘yan. Unang-una, ano po ang kailangan nilang maging dahilan para sa isang emergency meeting?” she said.

“‘Yong opening, nagtapatan. Pero ‘yong Lunes at Martes po habang pressured na pressured po ang ‘It’s Showtime’ at talagang ‘di nila halos malaman ang gagawin, tape po ang Eat Bulaga ng Lunes at Martes.

She added: “‘Yon ba ang pressured? ‘Yong tinapat sa inyo naka-tape? Chillax na chillax. Nag-gogolf ang mga bida. Chillax na chillax ang mga Dabarkads.”

It can be recalled that several reports about the alleged emergency meeting between TV5’s MediaQuest and TVJ Productions emerged on social media.

TVJ Products didn’t confirm nor deny the said news.

It’s Showtime surpassed Eat Bulaga during their pilot episode on GMA Network, which believed one of the reasons why the rumored emergency meeting was called.

Hindi mapigilan ng mga netizens na awatin ang Kapuso host na si Cassy Legaspi matapos nitong mag-post ng iba’t ibang videos nila ni Darren Espanto.

Sa loob lamang ng 24 oras ay nagbahagi si Cassy ng mahigit siyam na video nila ni Darren sa kanyang Facebook page na agad namang napansin ng mga netizens.

Ayon sa mga netizens ay tila halata na mayroong gustong ipahiwatig si Cassy kaya naman patuloy itong nagbabahagi ng mga ala-ala nila ni Darren.

“Ano bang purpose ng mga video mo? Halos lahat ng post mo about kay darren eh sya nga dika mina my day eh wla nmn plang kayo tas panay post ka ng ganyan haha,” ani netizen John.

“Value yourself first and stop posting pics of someone who’s denying the real score to the whole world; might as well save your self-esteem and find someone who’s worth it,” sabi naman ni netizen Eleanor.

Matatandaan na pinag-usapan sa social media ang pagtanggi ni Darren sa kanilang relasyon ni Cassy at nilinaw nito na matalik lamang silang magkaibigan.

Ngunit marami ang naniniwala na may mas malalim pang relasyon ang dalawa.
