Netizens couldn’t stop comparing Bea Alonzo’s dance during the homecoming of drag performer Marina Summers to Julia Barreto’s viral dance in 2022.
The video uploaded by a netizen, showed Bea wearing a black dress while being cheered by her friends due to her ‘Dancing Queen’ performance.
Some netizens quickly noticed the similarity between Bea and Julia’s performance and also the almost identical dress they wore.
It can be recalled that Bea and Julia met for the first time at entertainment pillar Johnny Manahan’s birthday party, several years after their well-publicized feud.
Even Bea’s ex-boyfriend, and now Julia’s current partner, Gerald Anderson was happy to see the two having fun together.
“Time heals,” he said. “Ganoon talaga, you know, time heals and… basta moving forward lahat,”
However, many netizens couldn’t forget how Julia directly addressed Bea in 2019, when she asked the Kapuso actress to stop blaming her for her failed relationship with Gerald.
“Your heartbreak should have been a private matter, but you have selfishly turned it into something of national concern. Bea, you wanted to keep your hands clean by not mentioning me in your controversial post, but with a click of your finger, in your sly way, you have charged everybody to destroy me FOR YOU,” she stated.
