Ruru Madrid couldn’t stop his emotions while talking about how his girlfriend, Bianca Umali, converted to his religion, Iglesia Ni Cristo.

In an interview with Boy Abunda, Ruru said that he was surprised when Bianca told her that she was interested in listening to the teaches of INC.

“Nagulat na lang ako one day, birthday po niya, bigla niyang sinabi sa akin na ang gusto raw niyang gift para sa sarili niya ay faith kay God. At gusto raw po niya na makinig ng aral ng Iglesia ni Cristo,” said Ruru.

“Hindi ko po talaga napigilan na maiyak noong mga panahon na iyon kasi alam ko talaga, napatunayan ko sa sarili ko, na siya na talaga,” he added.

According to him, Bianca really showed interest in his religion by not missing any sessions.

“Inaral po niya ‘yon, everyday nagpupunta po siya…sa amin po kasi may 25 sessions, may eight months pa na pagsubok na hindi ka pwedeng maka-miss kahit isang pagsamba. At tinapos po niya lahat ‘yon nang hindi ko siya pinipilit,” he said.

In a past interview, Ruru denied that he forced Bianca to join INC.

It can be recalled that INC forbids its members to have a relationship or marry someone outside their religion.

Celebrity couple James Reid and Issa Pressman were facing separation rumors after eagle-eyed netizens noticed that they were already unfollowing each other on Instagram.

Janno Gibbs couldn’t hide his emotion while interviewing controversial motivational speaker Rendon Labador.

On November 10, Rendon was invited to be a guest on “The Mens Room” with Stanley Chi and Janno, but he was surprised when the interview didn’t end well for them.

In his posts, Rendon criticized Janno’s behavior during the interview for allegedly putting him in an embarrassing situation.

“Hindi ko nagustuhan yung ginaawang interview kagabi sa TV5 “The Mens Room” with @jannolategibbs & @stanleychi pumunta ako as a professional na tao sa show ninyo, kung namamahiya lang kayo ng guest ninyo ay tigilan ninyo nalang yan,” said Rendon.

According to him, Janno badly treated him during the interview because of his statements against the latter’s friend and colleague, Michael V.

However, he suspected Janno’s resentment towards him was personal.

“Hindi ko alam na may tampo pala si @jannolategibbs dahil kaibigan niya daw si Michael V. Kung hindi mo kaya ang realtalk sana hindi ako ang inimbitahan ninyo,” he stated.

“Nasaktan ka dahil kaibigan mo? o nasaktan ka sa salitang laos? Ako nagbabago na ako, pero walang bastusan sa show,” he added.

It can be recalled that Rendon criticized Michael several times and called him ‘outdated’ after the legendary comedian addressed other content creators to be responsible with their craft.

One of Rivermaya’s original members, Perf de Castro, said that fans should stop looking for him at the upcoming reunion concert of the legendary OPM band.

In his Facebook post, Perf said that he was glad to receive so much support from his fans, who petitioned to include him at the awaited reunion concert that would be held in 2024.

However, he said that they should stop insisting the producers of the reunion concert to include him on the lineup.

“Eto seryoso… Nakakatuwa itong past couple of days at nakakataba ng puso ang lahat ng comments at support pero OKs lang ako, men. Padayon lang,” he said.

“Enjoyin nyo ang ihahain na show at huwag hanapin ang wala,” he added.

It can be recalled that Perf reacted to his absence on the promotional poster for the reunion concert.

Perf, who’s now based in Los Angeles, California, made Rivermaya popular together with his former band mates, Rico Blanco, Bamboo Mañalac, Mark Escueta, and Nathan Azarcon.

He left the band during the 90s citing artistic differences with the management.

Andrea Brillantes’ interview while admitting that she had a crush on Daniel Padilla recirculated on social media.

In an interview with Pep.ph in 2013, Andrea admitted that she was attracted to Daniel, one of the most popular Kapamilya stars.

According to him, he volunteered to the director to help Yen to release her emotions.

After he received permission from the assistant director, he quickly confronted Yen and gave her some motivational messages.

“Ano ba yan? Nakakaloka ka! Nag-arti-artista ka pa, hindi ka pala marunong umarte! Wag ka nang mag-artista, nakakaloka ka. Tingnan mo, gusto na naming umuwi, ikaw hanggang ngayon di ka pa rin makaiyak. Kaisa-isa at kahuli-hulihang eksena ito, hindi mo pa magawa. The motivational speech given by Ogie seemed successful as Yen quickly cried.

“Sorry, sorry…, iyak ng iyak talaga si Yen. Sabi ko, ‘take na to. ‘Aris, aris…’ ‘Cut, very good,’ sabi ng director. Sabi ko, o ang galing-galing mo,” he said.

Talent manager and showbiz columnist Ogie Diaz claimed that Daniel Padilla and Andrea Brillantes were seeing each other in secret.

In his online show ‘Showbiz Update,’ Ogie said that while his information was not yet verified, he still wanted to talk about it.

However, he believed that the rumor was almost near impossible as Daniel was known to be conservative.

“May nagtsika pa sa akin na nagkikita nang lihim o pasikretong nagkikita si Daniel at si Andrea… Sabi ko lumang tao si Daniel eh at medyo may pagka-conservative yon… kasi talagang grabe niyang mahal si Kathryn,” said Ogie.

“Eh siyempre hindi naman to confirmed. Kaya dapat marinig din natin ang panig nila. Kasi nili-link si Daniel kay Andrea Brillantes, hindi ba nakakaloka. Huwag muna tayong basta basta maniwala. Hayaan natin na sila ang maringgan natin kung ano ang real status na kanilang relasyon,” he added.

According to him, Andrea was known to have a crush on Daniel.

“Kung may problema man ang Kathniel, sana magkaayos sila. Sayang din. Ang tagal na din ung 11 or 12 years nilang pinagsamahan,” he stated.

As of writing, Andrea and Daniel have yet to give any clarification about their real relationship.
