Carlos Yulo, makakakuha pa nga ba ulit ng ikalawang condo mula sa isang property developer?

Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo won his second gold medal on August 5, 2024, after winning the vault.

His victory automatically made him eligible for an additional P10,000,000 from the government and possibly more pledges from other companies.

Most netizens were discussing the possibility of Carlo getting another condominium unit worth P24,000,000 from property developer giant Megaworld.

However, netizens should stop expecting more from the property developer because it was clear that they would only give one condominium unit per Filipino athlete who could get a gold medal.

Their statement never indicated that they would give one condominium unit per gold medal.

“Recognizing their extraordinary pursuit of excellence, property giant Megaworld is set to reward EACH FILIPINO GOLD MEDALIST at a 2024 Paris Olympic Games with a fully-furnished two-bedroom residential condominium unit valued at P24-million,”

A few netizens even forced the property developer to give Yulo the second condominium unit, saying he deserved it.

However, some netizens also defended the property developer, saying the company was not even supposed to give a posh condominium unit, but they did it voluntarily to encourage Filipino Olympians to push for gold.

MEGAWORLD UPGRADES CARLOS’ REWARD.

Megaworld decided to upgrade the property they’re giving to Carlos by making it a three-bedroom.

According to the property developer, the said property cost and a cash bonus that Carlos received would now total P35,000,000.

The condominium unit was expected to be awarded to Yulo after the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The mother of two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo’s girlfriend made a heartfelt message to her possible future son-in-law after winning an extremely rare two gold medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

In her post, Melany Pili, the mother of Carlos’ partner, Chloe San Jose, expressed her joy and support for the Filipino athlete who brought honor to the country.

She also recognized the sacrifices made by Caloy to train in preparation for his Olympic dream.

“Your Olympic journey is indeed a testament to your remarkable dedication and spirit. We have witnessed the tremendous effort and commitment you invest in this field. Spending holidays, even Holy Week and Good Friday, training instead of resting and spending time with your loved ones is just one proof of the passion and perseverance you bring to this craft, and for that, we are truly proud!” she said.

“This weekend, the quest for gold continues. Keep fighting, Kuya! You’ve worked hard and prepared well. Keep that positive mindset and give it your best shot! No matter what, you’ve already achieved so much! God be with you and Ate Chloe Anjeleigh San Jose May Padre Pio strengthen and protect you!” she added.

A video also shows the family of Carlos’ partner while celebrating the second gold of Carlos.

Some netizens couldn’t compare Chloe’s mother, which contradicted the reaction made by Carlos’s own mother, Angelica Yulo, who chose to support the opponent of her own son during the Olympics.

It can be recalled that Angelica even talked about her problems with Carlos amid the 2024 Olympics, which, to some netizens, was a bad gesture as her son was still competing for his second gold.

Angelica even accused Chloe of being the one who caused all the problems in her family.

Gerald Santos, may mensahe sa taong bumaboy sa kanya

Former Kapuso singer Gerald Santos would finally reveal his side after a decade of silence on the bad treatment he allegedly experienced from a musical director who worked at GMA Network.

In his Facebook post, Gerald shared some of the snippets of the video that he would upload tomorrow.

Gerald could be shown addressing the said individual in his video.

“Ang masasabi ko lang sayo, ang kapal ng mukha mo. Pinapasa-diyos na kita,” said Gerald.

Gerald said he would finally speak about his experience after Sparkle actor Sandro Muhlach filed a complaint against two head writers of GMA Network.

“Kaya po ako nagsasalita dahil ako po ay may sariling karanasan katulad nito na nangyari kay Mr. Sandro Muhlach. Gusto ko pong sabihin sa inyo ‘yung aking naging karanasan to raise awareness sa lahat ng baguhang artist,” he stated.

It can be recalled that Gerald shared in a past interview that someone influential from the Kapuso network attempted to take advantage of him several times.

“Early flight po kasi, first flight kami… so nag-ask siya na, dahil maaga nga po para hindi ma-late, pinatulog niya ako sa bahay niya. Tapos ‘yun na po… nasa kwarto niya po [ako], nagulat po ako kasi isa lang ang kwarto,” he stated.

“Mga chancing-chancing… ‘yun na po ‘yun. Hindi po ako pumayag, kaya hindi po natuloy.” he added.

He informed the executives of GMA Network about the incident, but Gerald believed that it only cost his career.

Even his talent manager, Rommel Ramilo also claimed that Gerald was not allowed to appear on any entertainment shows of GMA until today.

Olympic Gold Medalist Carlos Yulo’s girlfriend, Chloe San Jose, made a response to her boyfriend’s mother, who made a series of posts and statements against her son.

It can be recalled that Angelica Yulo’s posts on social media went viral after her son won his first Olympic gold medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Mrs. Yulo drew flak on social media after she publicly cheered for Carlos’s Japanese opponent during the event’s all-vault finals.

Carlos’ mother also granted an interview, openly criticizing her son’s decision and even blaming Chloe for causing all the problems in their family.

She even hinted that Chloe would only cause a financial burden to her son.

As a response, Chloe said she would wait for Carlos to finish his attempt to get a second gold medal in the men’s vault finals tonight.

“Mother dear, I’m gonna hold your hand when I say this… pero wait ka lang, tapusin lang po namin yung vault finals-paki-off na your comment section po ah,” she wrote.

“Japan pa din talaga.. lakas! but malakas din naman si Carlos Edriel Yulo, GOD IS WITH HIM,” she added, while trying to imitate Mrs. Yulo’s post.

Mrs. Yulo’s post was now deleted after being seen by millions of Filipinos.

Angelica Yulo, the mother of Olympic Gold Medalist Carlos Yulo, finally speaks about her problems with her son.

It can be recalled that Angelica went viral on social media after she openly supported the opponent of her son during the All-Around finals of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

A family friend of Yulo family revealed that the problem started due to the differences of Carlos and Angelica regarding their financial decisions.

In an interview with Star FM Manila, Angelica revealed the reason for their misunderstanding and confirmed that it was really about financials.

According to Angelica, the only money she possessed was the P70,000 worth of incentives received by Carlos from the World Championships 2021.

She also hinted they didn’t trust Carlos’ girlfriend, Chloe San Jose, which was the reason why she was the one who received the money.

“Sakin binigay ni ma’am Weng kasi red flag din sa kanila ‘yung girl. So ayun sa akin ibinigay, so ang ginawa ko nararamdaman ko na bilang ina na parang ang sabi ko is baka maubos ng anak ko in the future,” said Angelica.

“So ang ginawa ko idineposit ko siya under my name sa BPI Account, tapos pina-hold ko siya at ginawa ko siyang bond for credit card,” she added.

She attempted to return the credit card after a discussion with Carlos, but she claimed that the bank already told them that they needed to wait for two years before the money could be withdrawn.

“Ang naging mitsa lang talaga is ‘yung babae, ‘yung girl, lalong lumaki kasi nagkaroon ng training camp si Caloy kasama ko ‘yung asawa ko, naghatid kami sa Terminal 3, ang sabi sakin ni Reynald, yung coach niya ‘Tita alam mo na ba ‘yung nangyari?’ sabi ko ‘No I have no idea at all’ kasi hindi naman kami nagkakausap ni Caloy eh, so wala kaming idea talaga,” she said.

Angelica said that Chloe was living at Carlos’ apartment, which was supposed to be exclusively used by athletes as the government was funding it for sports development.

Carlos’ mother started to dislike Chloe when she felt that the latter was already trying to get the athlete’s attention for herself.

As of writing, Carlos has yet to give her response to his mother.

Carlos Yulo’s father, Mark Andrew Yulo, was proud of his son’s achievements after the country won its second Olympic gold medal.

In an interview with GMA News, Mr. Yulo said that his son deserved to win the medal after he witnessed his three-year preparation for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

“Masaya, kasi matagal na panahon na ni Caloy na nire-ready simula nu’ng 2020 Japan Olympics. Four years niyang tiniis ‘yan, talagang pinagpaguran ng bata,” said Mr. Yulo.

“Deserve niya ‘yan. Dugo at pawis ‘yung pinaghirapan ni Caloy diyan, talagang gustong-gusto niya makuha ‘yan.” he added.

He was also unsurprised that his son would win the gold medal as he knew Caloy’s capability.

Meanwhile, netizens were waiting for the statement of Carlos’ mother, Angelica Yulo, who went viral recently after she openly supported the opponent of her child during the all-vault finals where the Filipino gymnast placed twelve.

Former Kapuso singer Gerald Santos’ manager, Rommel Ramilo, finally spoke after the story of his talent went viral on social media.

It can be recalled that Sandro Muhlach’s charges against two head writers of GMA Network revived the discussion about Gerald’s experience with a musical director, which started when he was still 15.

Gerald reportedly complained to the higher-ups of GMA Network during the incident, but instead of receiving support, the singer said he received few to no projects after his move.

According to Ramilo, the complaint they filed to the higher-ups of GMA Network has still not been resolved.

He also confirmed that the said director already left the network, but they still felt the consequences of their decision to open up a complaint.

“There was no clear/concrete resolution of this case until now,” panimula ni Ramilo. “Naalis yung isa, yes. But while still in the network, Gerald was treated as an outcast for bringing up his case to the top level management,” said Ramilo.

“He was given very few works after that, until wala na talagang work na binibigay. We are trying to forge a compromise with them but he was released instead,” he added.

Ramilo also confirmed that Gerald was still not allowed to appear on the entertainment programs of GMA Network.

“We had to go through the lonely battles with a giant network,” he stated.

A family friend of Yulo’s family wrote an open letter to now-Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo amid his rift with his mother and siblings.

In his article, Brian Yalung of Sports Bytes Philippines urged Carlo to remember how his mother and siblings supported him to become one of the top athletes in the country.

Yalung also hinted that the problem between the Olympic gold medalist and his family started when the Yulo family started to interfere with his finances.

“In all, I understand it is all about money. Caloy, I had my issues with my parents about relationships and money. However, I never had the guts to accuse my father or mother of stealing money from me. Of course, our paths are different. You made your millions from competing. But honestly, how did you get there?” Yalung wrote.

He also reminded Carlos about the days when they were still living in the squatter’s area, but despite their social status, Mrs. Yulo still supported his dreams.

He also said that Carlos’ family used the money of the athlete to buy properties and deposited them in a bank.

However, the journalist also hinted that the said properties were not named under Carlo.

“As sons, we still have an obligation to our families, especially our parents. They make sure that our needs are met and our futures secure. If the money that was allegedly stolen from you is invested in a house or kept securely in a bank, there is a reason,” he said.

“It is your fallback in the event your career suddenly goes downhill. If not, it is assurance that in the future, you and your own family will have a worry-free life. Even if the property’s name is not under you, who will eventually inherit it? Will it not be you?” he added.

It can be recalled that Carlos won the second medal in the country and is now set to receive millions of pesos in rewards after achieving one of the rarest achievements that a Filipino could achieve.

Carlos Yulo’s mother, Angelica Poquiz Yulo, was receiving flak after she openly supported Japan and took several swipes against her own child on social media.

On her social media page, Mrs. Yulo could be seen cheering for Japan after she shared a post showing her son only placing twelve during the ALL-AROUND finals during the 2024 Paris Olympics.

“Japan pa din talaga.. lakas!” said Mrs. Yulo.

Her post was criticized after Carlos won a gold medal for floor exercises, and some netizens even asked why a mother would do such a thing against her child.

FEUD BETWEEN CARLOS AND HIS FAMILY

According to some reports, the feud started when Carlos allegedly accused his family of pocketing his money.

An open letter written by Sports Bytes Philippines hinted at the issue of the Olympic Gold Medalist.

“As sons, we still have an obligation to our families, especially our parents. They make sure that our needs are met and our futures secure. If the money that was allegedly stolen from you is invested in a house or kept securely in a bank, there is a reason,” said Brian Yalung of Sports Bytes PH.

The rift between the family was also intensified by the negative posts made by Carlos’ mother and siblings against him.

It could be noticed that Yulo’s sister also cheered Japan during the All-Around finals instead of supporting her own brother.

Carlos’ fans urged the Olympic Gold Medalist not to reconnect with his family, especially now that he can already live on his own after receiving millions of pesos in rewards.

Philippines’ first Olympic gold medalist, Hidilyn Diaz, celebrated the victory of Carlos Yulo during the floor exercise finals at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Hidilyn made a short message in her social media post to celebrate Carlos’ victory.

“Yehey! May Olympic Gold tayo from @c_edrilzxs (Carlos Yulo),” Hidilyn wrote.

Hidilyn, a weightlifter, won the country’s first gold medal after nearly a century, while Yulo started the country’s gold medal streak.

She didn’t qualify for this year’s Olympics and already announced her retirement from her sport.

Yulo won the competition after scoring 15.000 points versus Israel’s 14.966 points.

Netizens were still waiting for the other Filipino Olympic participants to give the country medals.
