Internet celebrity and Carlos Yulo’s girlfriend, Chloe San Jose, boasted that she inspired her followers to fight for what they wanted.

In an interview with Luis Manzano, Chloe said that she was receiving messages from her followers who were amazed by her courage to face her critics, especially the supporters of her boyfriend’s parents.

“They’re kind of saying one thing na “Thank you Ate for being an inspiration na maging strong and maging totoo sa sarili and really fighting for what you want.” That really touches me po na may nai-inspire pala na ipaglaban ‘yung sarili nila,” she said.

It can be recalled that Chloe went viral after she answered back several times to her boyfriend’s parents.

“I’m not here to please anyone, i know what i did and didn’t. feel free to keep believing whatever you see and read online, it doesn’t matter—i know my truth and so does the people around me, most specially mahal Carlos. the universe has my back,” said Chloe.

Some of Chloe’s critics believed that she was allegedly manipulating Carlos to stay away from his family for still unknown reasons.

However, despite the issues and accusations, Carlos remained loyal to Chloe.

Supporters of the Yulo family expressed their support amid the decision of a powdered drink brand to recognize Filipino pole-vaulter EJ Obiena after his 2024 Paris Olympics campaign.

It can be recalled that netizens discussed the brand’s decision to organize a homecoming to EJ instead of one of its longest ambassadors, two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo.

However, the brand also didn’t evade criticism from some Carlos supporters, who accused it of supporting a ‘toxic family culture’ for not inviting the Filipino gymnast during the homecoming.

Some netizens who defended the brand believed that it was the right decision for them to distance themselves from Carlos amid his family issues.

They believed that the brand promotes traditional Filipino values, which Carlos was allegedly not practicing as he refused to meet his family after winning two gold medals at the last Olympics.

“Desisyon nila yon. Baka they find EJ more appropriate dahil produktong pambata to. What happened to Caloy and his mother will tarnish the image of the child-friendly product,” netizen Dato commented.

As of writing the said brand has yet to give any statement of why they didn’t invite Carlos during the homecoming.

A congresswoman faced controversy after some eagle-eyed netizens examined the bags, accessories, and watches she wore at events.

The said congresswoman, Abra Rep. Ching Bernos, was seen wearing some of the most expensive bags, watches, and accessories available in the market.

In a Facebook post shared by Tetelestai, Bernos could be seen owning a Hermes Neige Faubourge Birkin 20 White Matte Alligator Handbag worth P23.4-M and also a Hermes So Black Midnight Faubourge Birkin 20 Matte Alligator Handbag worth P19.5-M.

Some netizens questioned how a public official could display such wealth regardless of the rules set for public officials and employees which stated that “Officials and employees and their families shall lead modest and simple lives appropriate to their position and income. They shall not indulge in extravagant or ostentatious display of wealth in any form,”

As of this writing, Rep. Bernos has yet to respond about how she afforded such items.

Actress Heart Evangelista went viral on social media after she shared her preparation for the upcoming Milan Fashion Week.

Doctor Willie Ong showed the effects of the chemotherapy he was taking after being diagnosed with a rare type of cancer.

In his Threads, Juniño Padilla shared some of the screencaps taken during his conversation with Dr. Willie, who’s also his godfather.

“Surprise Morning call from Ninong Doc Willie Ong from Singapore. Laban lang ingat po kayo,” said Padilla.

In the said photo, Dr. Willie visibly lost weight, and also most of his hair was already gone.

The celebrity doctor was in Singapore to take medical procedures in an attempt to prolong his life.

Several days ago, Dr. Willie went viral on social media after he finally revealed his condition, a rare type of Sarcoma Cancer.

He said that saying that he had a 16x13x12 centimeter Sarcoma in his abdomen. Additionally, they also found a tumor behind his heart and T10 Spine.

“San ko nakuha ‘to? Tingin ko stress, na-stress ako sa mga comments. Na-stress ako sa mga bashers,” he said.

“Na-stress ako kasi hindi tunay lahat ng sinasabi dahil sobra ko kayong mahal. Sobrang mahal ko ang Pilipino. Sobrang mahal ko mga mahihirap tapos sasabihin nila ginagamit ko lang,” he added.

He also revealed that he experienced Neutropenic Sepsis, which resulted in him becoming delirious from time to time.

Film Development Council of the Philippines and award-winning director Joey Javier Reyes asked his friends in the media industry to stop giving any platform to two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo’s mother.

In his Facebook post, Reyes said that Angelica’s statement against her son tarnished the people’s celebration of the honor brought by Carlos to the country.

“So please don’t give media space to a drama queen mother who wants to tarnish the moment of GLORY of HER OWN SON regardless of personal reason. She and her narrative should be collectively IGNORED,” said Joey.

In his vlog, he said that he experienced Neutropenic Sepsis, which made him delirious several times.

According to him, his experiences almost ended his battle with cancer.

Dr. Willie then expressed his disappointment as he mentioned the stress caused by the criticism he received when he ran for Vice President last presidential elections.

“I think I got all this pain from negative thoughts and negative emotions. From all the hurt from all the bashing I got from the 2022 Vice Presidential campaign,” he said

“I just ran for Vice President. What did I do wrong?” added Dr. Willie. “I did not do anything wrong. I love everyone of you,”

The celebrity doctor then talked about the corruption in this country.

“Anyway, I’m dying. I don’t care anymore; I will tell you the truth. Politicians are corrupt in the Philippines, sorry po ha? Kaibigan ko po kayo lahat. Pasensya na po. Nagkaka vision ako kagabi eh,” he stated.

“Hindi niyo alam kung gaano ko kayo kamahal,” he added.

Two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo became a topic again among netizens after they noticed that a popular powdered chocolate brand did not recognize him.

It can be recalled that Carlos was supported by the said brand since he was still a kid.

However, some netizens noticed the brand’s treatment of Carlos after he won two gold medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

In a tweet, AltA2Z posted a photo of Filipino pole vaulter EJ Obiena, who was recognized by the brand, and questioned why Carlos didn’t receive the same treatment.

The page even suspected that it might related to Carlos’ issue with his family.

Meanwhile some netizens believed that it might be related to Carlos’ lack of contract with the brand.

“Nag iingat lang Milo. Now na maraming kumukuha kay Carlos as endorser and he is currently not under contract baka magkaroon ng conflict. I don’t think dragging his family problems into it is necessary,” netizen Catrina remarked.

The brand was one of the brands that congratulated Carlos during his Paris victory.

Internet celebrity Chloe San Jose clapped back to the netizens who accused her of being a ‘retokada.’

In one of her posts, Chloe denied that she had already undergone procedures to enhance her appearance.

However, she admitted that she was planning to acquire ‘enhancements.’

Karl Eldrew Yulo asked his father to stop talking about two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo.

In a video, Eldrew and his father, Mark Andrew, were having a livestream when the latter mentioned Carlos.

Eldrew pleaded with his father not to mention Carlos because it may spark another issue.

“Batiin mo kaya ang kuya mo para mawala ‘yung mga troll,” said Mark Andrew.

“Hayaan mo na sila ‘pa, wag na natin sila pansinin lalo lang magkakagulo mga ‘yan, sabihin peke tayo,” Eldrew responded.

However, instead of stopping, Mark Andrew still mentioned Carlos’ name several times and even asked him to return home.

“Umuwi ka na sa bahay, mahal na mahal ka ni Papa,” said Mr. Yulo.

Eldrew then apologized to the viewers and explained that his father didn’t know the possible setbacks of his statements.

“Pasensya na guys pinapagalitan ko siya hindi niya maintindihan [na] ‘yung mga taong nasa paligid niya, alam niya naman maraming nagsasabing peke kami,” Eldrew stated.

Mr. Yulo then said he was confident that Carlos would return to them.

It can be recalled that last month, Carlos vowed to meet his father, but until today, the Filipino gymnast reportedly refused to respond to his family’s attempts to reach him.
