Former Special Assistant to the President (SAP) and now senatorial candidate Christopher ‘Bong’ Go responded on Senator Leila De Lima after the latter questioned the former’s source of campaign funds.

According to Bong Go, he’s not like De Lima who allegedly using money from illegal activities to use as campaign funds.

“Dati ko na pong nasagot ng ilang beses ang mga paratang n’yo na pawang hindi toto. Pero dahil nandiyan kayo sa loob, baka di niyo nababasa ang mga lumalabas sa balita,” Go said.

“Hindi galing sa mga dr*g lords ang perang ginagamit ko sa pagtulong, hindi katulad ng iba dyan na hindi na nga nakakatulong, nanggugulo at nakikisawsaw pa, pinoprotektahan pa ang mga kriminal. Huwag nyo akong ihalintulad sa inyo,” he added.

He also explained that he’s not the one campaigning for himself and putting the tarpaulins, but his friends and supporters who believed that he can perform well once he becomes a Senator.

Yesterday, De Lima described Go’s alleged early campaigning as a form of ‘epal politics.’

“Bong Go is everywhere, inescapable in all sizes and all forms. There has been an ongoing invasion of public spaces by his tarpaulins and expensive billboards, and on TV, radio, print, and social media, he’s ubiquitous these past months. He has well-oiled electoral machinery. But where does he get the funds?” De Lima said in her letter.

“He does all these even ways before the start of the official campaign period, taking advantage of a gap in our election laws and jurisprudence which tolerates premature campaigning,” she added.

She also questioned why Go was still appearing in the events held by the President despite being already resigned as a special assistant.

“It’s even akin to a usurpation of authority since someone else is supposed to have taken already his previous functions as SAP. But since he continues to act as Duterte’s super alalay, it is safe to presume that public funds are also expended while he is campaigning early… and still assuming the SAP role,” De Lima said.

“Ang kitid ng utak!” Manny Piñol slams VP Robredo’s suspicions that nationwide river dredging will be full of corruption

Agriculture Secretary Manny Piñol slammed Vice President Leni Robredo for accusing the river dredging project he proposed to the President would be prone to corruption.

On January 6, Robredo said on her radio program that she was told before the river dredging project is an easy way to corrupt public funds because it’s hard to find if the project like that is finished or not.

“Iyong pagpalalim ng… Hindi mo nakikita kasi nasa ilalim siya ng tubig,” she said on her “Biserbisyong Leni” show over RMN.

However, Piñol didn’t like the short explanation of Robredo, saying that the Vice President only showed that she’s negative instead of thinking about the many benefits of the river dredging project.

He described the Vice President as narrow-minded for not willing to take the risk for the benefits of the people.

“The dredging of the rivers, I told President Duterte, would open up hundreds of thousands of rich and fertile areas to agriculture with the added benefit of excavating peat soil from the river beds which could be used to enrich the soil in the nearby farms. Vice President Robredo’s reaction, however, left me dumbfounded and wondering what other options should be considered,” Pinol said in his post.

“By giving more weight on the possibility of corruption instead of the benefits that the dredging of the rivers will bring, Vice President Robredo has exposed a narrow-minded perspective of how government should work and operate,” he added.

The Agriculture Secretary also said that the funds in the project would not be corrupted if the people that would handle it are not corrupt people.

“The fear of corruption, however, should not tie our hands and prevent us from taking risks as government servants. If this is the kind of mindset, our officials in government have, we will never be able to do anything or accomplish projects which would benefit our people.” Pinol said.

“So, the rivers should not be dredged because there could be corruption? The only other option is just to allow the floods to destroy crops and lives every year. If that is the mindset, let us just dismantle government so that there will be no corruption at all.” he added.

Kris Aquino admits giving social media funds to Falcis, explains why she instructs him not to attack Marcoses

After several days of being silent about the #PaBoost issue, Kris Aquino finally spoke about the accusations being thrown against her by some Pro-Duterte bloggers.

According to some reports, the #PaBoost issue started when Nicko Falcis, former financial manager of Kris Aquino revealed that he’s giving money to the well-known anti-government blogger Jover Laurio, the owner of Pinoy Ako Blog to promote her articles against several government officials.

The screenshots circulated on the internet showed that Nicko and Laurio spent 18,000 in just one article.

After connecting the dots, several bloggers found that Falcis is using the money of Kris Aquino to fund Jover Laurio’s social media campaigns with an alleged authorization from the host.

In an Instagram reply, Kris Aquino finally admitted that she’s aware of the social media campaigns that she’s funding by the help of Falcis. However, she clarified that she gave several instructions to Falcis not to fund articles against the Marcoses and Dutertes.

“I gave Nicko [Falcis] money to boost, with zero knowledge of my brother when my brother went to Congress to protect him from all trolls,” Kris said, referring to the incident where her brother former President Benigno Aquino III got invited by the Congress to investigate his alleged involvement on the Dengvaxia controversy.

Kris said that former President Noynoy Aquino is not aware of the mentioned social media campaigns and her brother didn’t ever meet her former financial manager.

She also bared the instructions that she gave to Nicko.

“My instructions to Nicko were always clear- kaibigan ko si Bong Go, hindi ko kaaway ang mga Duterte, never attack the Duterte family especially Kitty, wala akong issue sa Marcos children, katuwang ko si Bongbong sa kasal ni toni & paul, law firm ni liza marcos ang nag handle sa nagpapanalo ng annulment ko.” Kris said.

Aquino suspected that the money she gave to Falcis was spent wrongly.

“Now with all the issues – siempre ang hinala ko baka nabulsa din yung pondo.” Kris Aquino said.

She also urged the netizens to stop involving her on the #PaBoost issue.

“Tantanan na ko – I’m also an impossible dreamer, i dream of becoming an Oprah not a Trump,” she said.

Kris Aquino Instagram

Despite the explanation from Kris, several bloggers are not convinced, saying that Laurio wrote and promoted several articles against the Dutertes and Marcoses.

A blogger even pointed out that Kris Aquino’s post proves that even the favorite child of Ninoy Aquino don’t want to criticize the Marcoses on social media despite the fact that their two families have a bitter political rivalry.

DFA Sec. Teddy Locsin wants Tony Labrusca to be deported after cursing immigration officials

Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Secretary Teodoro ‘Teddy’ Locsin Jr. wants the actor Tony Labrusca to be deported after the infamous Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 incident.

Labrusca received criticisms on social media after he reportedly cursed several immigration officials for not giving him balikbayan stamp to extend his stay in the Philippines for more than thirty days.

In a tweet, a certain @mayoroliverdig informed the DFA Chief about the issue being faced by Labrusca who already apologized and admitted that he loses his cool during the said incident.

Unfortunately, Locsin didn’t recognize Labrusca and he even needs to ask some netizens about the identity of the actor.

“Who he?” Locsin asked the netizen?.

“Tony Labrusca who shouted at our immigration officer and cursed them,” the netizen told Locsin.

“Still have no idea who he is,” Locsin replied.

“He’s an abs-cbn tv and movie actor. recently he had a movie with actress angel aquino entitled Glorious. kahit nindi nyo po kilala yung tao pero nambastos ng immigration officer dapat may panagutan,” Another netizen told Locsin.

Later on, Locsin realized that what the actor who’s a U.S citizen acted rudely during the immigration process, and expressed his willingness to deport the actor.

“Just deport him.” Locsin said.

But another netizen reminded @mayoroliverdig, that Locsin is not the one who handled the Bureau of Immigration.

“Bureau of Immigration is under DOJ not DFA. It used to be a Commission under the office of the President. It was changed to a Bureau of DOJ but they still call the head of the agency as Commissioner.” @tweetmetomcat said.

“No need to get Philippine Visa for a US Citizen. It is the Bureau of Immigration that look into the behavior of the foreigners staying in the country. Hence they can revoke the visa granted by our Embassies & Consulates for whatever reason. Visa is a privilege, not a right.” he added.

Meanwhile, Bureau of Immigration released a statement saying that they have the right to blacklist people like Labrusca and forbid him to visit the country.

“While our immigration officers have been instructed to observe maximum tolerance, it is against the law to disrespect immigration authorities, and violating aliens may be excluded and blacklisted from the Philippines,” Immigration Spokesperson Dana Krizia Sandoval said.

“Showing disrespect to symbols of authority is essentially showing disrespect to the country,” she added.

Gladys Guevarra to Tony Labrusca: “Kami pag nasa ibang bansa sumusunod kami sa batas ng bansa bilang turista!”

Tony Labrusca is receiving criticisms on social media now after being reportedly cursed immigration officers at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 this week.

Labrusca, a U.S Citizen who became famous because of the movie ‘inglorious’ received criticisms not only from netizens but also from his colleague in show business like Gladys ‘Chuchay’ Guevarra who even witnessed the ‘pa-VIP’ attitude of the actor.

One of the criticisms received by Labrusca on social media

In her post, Guevarra narrated her first impression when she met Labrusca in a Christmas Party held in a big hotel in Pasay, City, saying that even the said event was full of celebrities, only the controversial actor catches her attention.

According to her, she saw Labrusca being surrounded by many security personnel and one of them even tried to sway Guevarra from the actor.

Because of the incident, Guevarra asked her friend about Labrusca; she even raised her voice so the actor who’s passing by can hear her questions.

She even claimed that no one from the audience was hype when the event host announced the arrival of Labrusca.

Guevarra also suspected that Labrusca tried to cut in the line of the celebrities who’s going to perform during that night.

In the last part of her post, Guevarra told Labrusca that he’s arrogant for always acting like a VIP.

She also reminded the actor the Filipinos are following the laws of the countries that they’re visiting, so he must also follow the rules in the Philippines.

You can read her whole post below:

“Ayaaaaan! Kaway kaway po sa mga Security ng Okada na nag secure sa mga artista last time na may malaking Christmas Party ng company dyan at invited din ako. Share ko lang tong nakakatawang storyang ito.
Maraming artista ang imbitado, Kasama sina Jolina Magdangal, Derek Ramsay, Calla Lilly, TNT Boys, JM De Guzman, Barbie Imperial, Mr. Robin Padilla, Hallal.
Bago ko tapusin ang year na ito, i was invited by this wonderful company to be part of their christmas party celebration. (As in malaking celebration) #ButterfliesBallinOKADA
Madami ng naunang artista ang nag perform, but i was there sa Okada earlier sa sinabing call time.
Anyways, ayun nga may dalawa o tatlo pa daw performers bago ako sasalang mag show.
Eksena . . . Sinabi ko talaga to out loud . . .
Me: “oA, sino yun Chez? Para hawiin ako ng security sa dadaanan nya?”
Chez: “di mo kilala yun teh? yung sa Glorious? Tony Labrusca?”
Me: (di ulit sa pag-O-OA …)
I’M A CELEBRITY!”
Wow!
Wow!
#yunlang”

Labrusca already released a statement, apologizing for his rude behavior towards the immigration officers.

Bureau of Immigration is not yet releasing a statement on the possible punishment for Labrusca.

However, Immigration Spokesperson Dana Krizia Sandoval reminded everyone about the scope of Balikbayan Privilege.

The privilege is for former Filipinos, and their immediate family members who are traveling with them only,” clarified Sandoval. “If these family members are not traveling with the Filipino or former Filipino, they are not qualified for the one-year visa-free privilege,” she added.

Actor Tony Labrusca cursed immigration officers at NAIA: “People asking pictures w/ me and you’re giving me hard time!”

Actor Tony Labrusca, who became famous because of the movie ‘Glorious’ is currently in hot water after being accused of cursing several immigration officials who didn’t give him a ‘balikbayan’ stamp to extend his stay in the Philippines for more than 30 days.

According to the reports, the incident has been revealed by a netizen who saw Labrusca’s social media post yesterday complaining about the 30-day duration gave to him by the immigration.

“Just landed in Manila and the Philippine immigration only gave me 30 days here. LOL. k” Labrusca said in his now-deleted tweet.

Several hours after Labrusca’s tweet, a netizen who’s working in the immigration office of NAIA terminal 1 during the incident criticized the new actor for continuing complaining even on social media.

The netizen also revealed how Labrusca who’s a US Citizen treated the Filipino immigration officials.

In his post, the immigration official said:

“You don’t have a Philippine passport, not even born in the Philippines, and not traveling with Filipino parents, but you want the same treatment as the other former Filipinos.

You even shouted and cursed at my supervisor, bragging that you’re a celebrity.

Boo!

The funny thing is, you were so proud to brag that you work here when you’re only supposed to be a tourist here in the Philippines.

Tapos mai ganito ka pa na post. Palakpakan!

For your info, Balikbayan visa is not a working visa.

Nakakahiya ka. Period.”

Another netizen from the comment section which seems personally witnessed the infamous incident quoted what Tony Labrusca exactly told the immigration officer that he tried to intimidate.

“Can you f**king understand my situation? People are asking/taking pictures w/ me and you’re giving me a hard time!” Labrusca allegedly told the immigration officer according to the witness.

Another netizen on Instagram urged Labrusca to apologize for his actions against the immigration officers, explaining that it’s impossible for him to extend his stay in the Philippines because he’s not traveling with his Filipino parents.

He also reminded Labrusca that he’s still new in show business and he should avoid acting like a VIP.

“You should be thankful that they didn’t even bar you from entering the Philippines but don’t worry you’ll soon be rewarded by punishment,” netizen Brandon Mendoza said.

Mendoza also revealed that Labrusca has already being pacified by his alleged boyfriend, however, the actor didn’t stop ranting.

“Fix your attitude, fly high but keep your feet on the ground, again you are just a noob celebrity,” he said.

After the incident gone viral, Labrusca finally released a statement apologizing to the immigration officers he cursed.

“I was unaware of the policy that because I was not with my mother, I did not qualify for a Balikbayan stamp,” he said.

“It was very upsetting for me. And I’m sorry that somehow, I took my frustrations out on the officer. But never did I ever call anyone stupid, nor an idiot much less brag about being a celebrity. I know for a fact that the officer is merely doing her job. My biggest mistake perhaps was letting my emotion get the better of me and again, I’m sorry.” he added.

As of writing, the Bureau of Immigration (BOI) is not yet releasing a statement on the incident.

“Bato for President?” President Duterte says Dela Rosa is the only one he can trust to be his successor

President Rodrigo Duterte named another person who can potentially replace him as the leader of the country.

On Thursday (January 3), Duterte said that he could trust Dela to become his successor because of his incomparable loyalty to the former Davao City Mayor.

During the presidential elections, Dela Rosa who’s a former Davao City chief expressed his support to Duterte, saying that he would punish anyone who would try to cheat Digong, a sign that Bato is very loyal to the chief executive.

“[H]e was with me all those years until I became president and there was no one else that I could trust with my life and maybe the presidency, and it’s — si Bato,” Duterte said.

Several days ago, Duterte was shocked by the latest SWS survey results on the 2019 senatorial elections, questioning why his top bets, including Bato, was put in the lower rankings.

“I do not have to derogate others pero yung sa ano ngayon nangunguna sa survey, susmaryosep (the latest survey front-runners, oh my goodness) but if that is the way your country…” Duterte said during the birthday party of former political affairs adviser Francis Tolentino in Tagaytay City.

“And not because he is a friend, he has proven integrity, si Bato [dela Rosa]. Fundamentally honest. ‘Pag binigyan mo ng pera para sa operation, he produces results. Magbigay ng accounting. That is how he is trained,” he said.

Bato is one of the leading bets of the Duterte administration.

Aside from Bato, Duterte also named Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte and former Senator Bongbong Marcos as potential leaders who could replace him in 2022.

Sister of Miriam Defensor Santiago calls Duterte ‘morally bankrupt’: “Nakakasuka na!”

Paula Defensor-Knack, the sister of late Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago, slammed not only President Rodrigo Duterte but also the social media bloggers who allied with the government like her before.

Amid the issue on President Duterte’s admission about what he had done with their maid during his teenage years, Knack called the chief executive a ‘morally bankrupt’ and explained that she’s only maintaining the moral values by her sister.

After receiving a tremendous amount of criticisms from her own Facebook fans, Defensor-Knack released a statement saying as a Christian; it’s her role to criticize public officials like Duterte who’s lack of values.

“We are Christians with a conscience, and we have tried to remind, to constructively criticize, cajole and correct PUBLIC OFFICIALS WHOSE SPEECH IS MORALLY BANKRUPT, but nothing happened …. so enough is enough! We do not subscribe to rule by vulgarity.” Defensor said in her post.

Knack also challenged her followers to unfollow her on Facebook, saying that she’s not begging for likes in the first place.

She also said that unlike other bloggers, she didn’t pay to get millions of likes and followers or ‘solicit free plane tickets for trips abroad’.

“You can unfollow us and we don’t give a damn because we didn’t ask you to follow us and I am not running for public office. WE DID NOT PAY TO HAVE MILLIONS OF LIKES AND FOLLOWERS, available for a fee at a Facebook office. Who are you kidding ?! We also do not solicit free plane tickets for trips abroad. Neither do we receive money from politicians to protect them online. HINDI KAMI FOR SALE.” she said.

The Pro-Duterte blogger who turned critical against the administration also called President Duterte’s recent statement as ‘sickening’.

She also criticized some bloggers who defended the President despite his mouth, just because they’re receiving free plane tickets and sponsorships on social media.

Knack released spoke about the ‘free plane tickets’ allegedly received by some bloggers amid the revelation of blogger Tonyo Cruz that some pro-admin Facebook page owners received a free trip to Korea.

Mar Roxas’ alleged PR man to President Duterte: “Kung nandito sa harap ko yan, sasapakin ko yan,”

The alleged public relations guy of 2019 senatorial candidate Mar Roxas had a fierce message to President Rodrigo Duterte.

In his tweet on December 30, journalist and PR guy Philip Lustre Jr. who’s reading the article posted by journalist Inday Espina Verona didn’t hesitate to share what he would do to the President on social media, saying that he would hit the chief executive in the face if he got a chance to meet him personally.

“Kung nandito sa harap ko iyan (si Duterte)… sasapakin ko iyan, Inday… Wala ng maraming daldal… bibigyan ko ng isang matinding suntok sa bibig iyan…” Lustre Jr. said.

However, several netizens criticized Lustre Jr. for acting like a brave man for posting those kinds of message the President.

“antapang ni lolo.. hahaha pano kaya kung nakaharap ka na di kaya sasayaw mga paa mo? Lolo, wag na tayo magllokohan, laking squatter yan si PRRD nde tulad ng elitistang iniidolo mo na kaya mo takutin..” Netizen Cheeny Kee said.

While scrolling down, some netizens also discovered that Lustre was not only tweeting messages against the President but also against the Mindanaoans who supported the chief executive.

In his post several days ago, Lustre Jr. said that the Mindanaoans got easily tricked by President Duterte because they’re not smart.

“Hindi pa lang niya naiintindihan na naiisahan siya. Alam mo naman ang mga taga-Mindanao, mahihina ang mga kukote. Pero kapag nabuko niya, maglalaslasan sila ng lalamunan at manonood lang tayo…” he said.

Lustre has been accused during the 2016 presidential elections of spreading false rumors about Duterte’s health.

“If it is true that Philip Lustre Jr. is a PR of Roxas and he won’t stop what he is doing, then I will let the whole world know who really Mar Roxas is, don’t blame me,” Duterte said.

He’s also become infamous for allegedly setting fire an apartment he was renting at Quezon City while her girlfriend and four children were inside.
