Dominic Roque disclosed that Daniel Padilla was not invited to his wedding.

In an interview, Dominic said he only invited Daniel’s ex-girlfriend, Kathryn Bernardo, to his wedding with Bea Alonzo.

He clarified that his reason for not inviting Daniel was unrelated to his breakup with Kathryn, saying that his relationship with the Kapamilya actor was not fine.

According to him, he has yet to talk to Daniel since 2020.

“Hindi pa kami okay ni DJ/ We are not talking,” he said.

The said rift was disclosed by talent manager Ogie Diaz in 2021, saying that the close friendship between Daniel and Dominic ended.

It can be recalled that Dominic was sometimes becoming the third-wheel on Daniel and Kathryn’s dates.

“May nasabihan si Karla na isang tao na sinabi niyang si Dominic malabo na silang magkaayos ni DJ,” Ogie said.

The rumors started circulating when Daniel and his mother, Karla Estrada, unfollowed Dominic on Instagram.

Some said it was related to Dominic’s relationship with Bea, while others said Dominic allegedly ghosted Daniel’s sister.

Daniel has yet to comment on Dominic’s decision not to invite him to his wedding.

Award-winning actor Jiro Manio said he has yet to close the doors completely for his return to show business.

In his interview with ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,’ Jiro admitted that his doctors didn’t recommend him to do intensive roles as it might affect his rehabilitation.

“Baka raw po maging effect ng stress ko, magkasakit daw po ako ulit, dahil hanggang ngayon po nagta-take po ako ng medicine,” said Jiro.

Talent manager Annabelle Rama shared her birthday wish for her son, Richard Gutierrez, amid the rumored separation between the latter and Sarah Lahbati.

Xander Ford announced that he sold the iPhone 15 that Christian Merck Grey gifted to his son, Xeres.

The director who disclosed Ian Veneracion’s talent fee apologized for what he said in his previous post.

Carballo responded to Ian’s camp and insisted that he never meant to put the actor in a bad light.

He set the record straight, saying that he was allowed by his source to write and post about the transaction.

However, he still apologized for the misunderstanding and blamed the netizens for amplifying the issue.

According to a report published by Abante, Daniel lost big time after the brands removed him as an endorser but kept Kathryn with them.

“Yung apat daw ha, supposedly na endorsement nilang dalawa ni Kathryn Bernardo, diumano ha, according to our source… ay kay Kathryn na lang daw ibinigay,” Marisol University host Mildred Bacud said.

The news fueled more speculation about why Daniel sold his vehicle and put up his 600-square-meter house for sale.

Netizens also believed that the bad publicity received by Daniel due to his alleged cheating on Kathryn several times discouraged the brands from keeping him as an endorser.

The camp of Ian Veneracion was mulling charges against Director Ronaldo Carballo, who publicly complained about the actor’s talent fee, which was allegedly worth P500,000.

It can be recalled that Ronaldo said that Tarlac City Government refused to hire Ian after they discovered that the camp of the actor was allegedly asking for a half a million talent fee for the first two hours of his appearance in a parade plus another P100,000 for every exceeding hour.

“OA ang 500k for a parade kahit limang oras pa. Buti kung binabayaran si Ian ng kahit 200k per day taping magdamag, kung may teleserye sya o may pelikula sya,” he said.

“Hetong 500k na hinihingi ya, kakaway-kaway lang sya sa parada,” he added.

However, in an interview with Inquirer, Ian’s management said that they were already studying legal actions against Ronaldo for allegedly posting false information about their talent.

“Rather than verifying the information (on Veneracion’s talent fee), Mr. Carballo appears to have engaged in online behavior that undermines these principles in an attempt to publicly humiliate our client and our team,” Ian’s management wrote.

They also said that Carballo didn’t respect the confidentiality of the negotiation between their management and the Tarlac City Government.

Ian’s management also clarified that they never asked for an additional talent fee for every excess hour.

They also tried to reach Ronaldo personally, but the director blocked them.
