Duterte on Robredo’s ability: “She is not capabe of running a country like the PH”

It seems that the word war between President Rodrigo Duterte and Vice President Leni Robredo has started.

On Tuesday, the Vice President and former house czar of the Duterte administration expressed her intentions to unite and lead the opposition coalition to match the PDP’s bet in 2019 elections.

In the same day, President Rodrigo Duterte who said that he’s willing to resign if the Federalism has been passed clarified that he would give the people a chance to choose their leader and he will not pass the presidency to Robredo.

He explained that passing the Presidency to Robredo might give more problem in the Philippines because of his lack of experience in governance.

“Kung siya mag-presidente? (If she will become president?) Look, I will not resign because it will make her president. My resignation is addressed to the people para makapili sila ng gusto nila,” Duterte told reporters in Clark, Pampanga.

“Siya (she), I don’t think she can ever be ready to govern a country. Reason? Incompetence. She’s not capable of running a country like this, Philippines,” said Duterte of Robredo

President Duterte repeatedly said that he could step down in 2018 if the Federal Constitution is already in effect by then.

Robredo became the representative of Camarines Sur for three years and became the chairman of Liberal Party in her hometown, several months after her husband Jesse Robredo’s death.

The lawyer from Camarines Sur won the Vice Presidential seat against former Senator Bongbong Marcos.

But now, there’s an ongoing recount between Robredo and former Senator Bongbong Marcos.

The camp of the Vice President is also facing controversy after their revisor has been caught having a vacation together with at least 20 staff of the Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET).

As of writing, the leader of the opposition is not yet giving any comment on the criticisms of President Duterte against her.

Travel vlogger Nas Daily responds to a fan from U.P who urges him to feature Duterte’s war on drugs: “I’m not visiting countries to be a political analyst”

Travel vlogger who was known as “Nas Daily” is one of the most prominent social media personality this 2018 and he got fans in every country that he visited.

Nas for the second time, visited the Philippines again which he labeled as the “most lovable country” next to Malta.

His video quickly gained 170,000 reactions and 100,000 shares from his fans.

Some of his Filipino fans didn’t waste the opportunity to thank Nas for his contribution to promoting the Philippines.

However, one Filipino fan of Nas tried to convince the prominent video blogger to feature “politics” in the Philippines.

It seems that the fan wanted to use Nas’ tremendous amount of audience to demote the Philippines by bringing up negative issues than promoting the country by spreading good vibes.

The student from University of the Philippines, in her comment, urged Nas to feature some of the issues being faced by the Philippines including the West Philippine Sea and anti-drug campaign.

“Dud, try to make a video about the politics behind alleged ‘ownership’, and claims behind some of the islands, as well as the policies being implemented. You’ll see just how much ‘love’ the leaders have for this country.” The netizen told Nas.

“Try looking up ‘Scarborough Shoal’, ‘Chinese navy seizing small-town fisherfolk catch’, ‘anti-drug campaign’, etc,”  she added.

Obviously, Nas who’s known for only spreading positive topics on Facebook refused the request of his fan.

The vlogger explained that he’s not a political analyst to talk about politics in his blog and also he was already fed up with the politics in his home country.

“Every country I go to has the same issues. I’m not visiting countries to be a political analyst. My home country has enough shit politics to last me a lifetime.” Nas told his fan.

The reply of Nas to his fan received 10,000 reactions as of writing, mostly from the Filipinos who are also tired of talking about politics.

hahaha too bad Nas is not the type who’d fall for your trap. He just said disregard politics and traffic. Don’t be a crab, join the fun!” netizen Jon Quebral said.

“You really had to bring this up.. Seriously..” Netizen Em Jay commented.

“Why on earth are you talking about politics when Nas is talking about us Filipinos being hospitable and lovable? Nas! You and Alynn should visit Cebu. Pleaaaaase!!” Netizen Angelica Marie Angus remarked

The lesson for today: Don’t ask a travel blogger to talk about politics.

Thank you, Nas for promoting the Philippines!

“She don’t need my endorsement” Kris Aquino says that Inday Sara Duterte “a sure winner” in 2019 senatorial elections

Popular talk show host Kris Aquino believes that Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte doesn’t need her endorsement if the latter wanted to run for a national position in 2019.

Aquino explained it to one of her fans on Instagram who asked her she would endorse Inday Sara Duterte in the upcoming senatorial elections.

“@krisaquino Do you like Mayor Inday Sara Duterte @indaysaraduterte to be Senator and will you endorse her?” jepot_ph asked Kris.

The talk show host said that she doesn’t know Inday Sara Duterte personally, but she was amazed by how the daughter of President Rodrigo Duterte recovered on some difficulties and issues threw against her.

Aquino believes that Inday Sara would be a sure winner in the upcoming elections, so she felt that her endorsement would not be needed.

“I don’t personally know her but I admire her resilience… I don’t think she needs my endorsement – she’s a sure winner,” Kris told her fan.

Yesterday, Pulse Asia released their newest survey results conducted from June 15-21 and it showed that Inday Sara Duterte moved to between third to fifth place with 46.2 percent voter preference in the so-called “Magic 12.”

However, despite the high popularity received by Inday Sara, the Davao City Mayor insisted that she’s not interested in running in a national position.

But she also warned her critics in her past Facebook post that if they mention her name again, she would give them a hard time in the 2022 elections, a clue that there’s a possibility that Inday Sara tried to follow the footsteps of her father.

Leave me in peace in Davao City or else you and your friends will spend more than a billion in the 2022 Presidential elections just to make me insignificant. Let me repeat, do not bother me and my slot will be available for a yellow Senator for the 2019 elections” Inday Sara Duterte said in her past Facebook post.

“Sosyal!” PET staffs caught having a vacation with VP Robredo’s revisor

Former Senator Bongbong Marcos camp has been disturbed by their discovery that at least 20 staff of Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET) employees had a vacation in a private resort in Pansol, Laguna with one of the revisors of Vice President Leni Robredo.

The information was first published by pro-Duterte blogger RJ “ThinkingPinoy” Nieto on his Facebook account.

According to his article, the evidence that would prove that the PET staff spent 22 hours with VP Robredo’s revisor was discovered from the Facebook account of PET Head Revisor Maria Katrin Rosales.

Photo shows that PET Staff is having a good time with Osmundo Abuyuan, the appointed revisor of Leni Robredo in the recount battle between the Vice President and former Senator.

To give more evidence, Nieto also showed the record of the resort where the PET staff and Robredo’s revisor had a vacation.

The alleged vacation happened on 22-23 June 2018.

According to Nieto, it’s illegal for the employees of PET to socialize with any party to a pending PET Case.

Meanwhile, the sister of Maria Katrin Rosales defended the PET revisor from the accusations of Nieto, saying that the latter was a loyalist of the Marcos family.

Wag kau gnyan mgicp…. Nde nmn dw c leni ang ngpaswimming.. Ngshare share dw cla dun..” Karla Marie Izra Zamora told Nieto.

However, Nieto insisted that what the PET staff committed was illegal.

“The Code of Conduct for Court Personnel [A.M. No. 03-06-13-SC] prohibits “any act of impropriety that immeasurably affects… the people’s confidence in [the Judiciary]”. Per Burgos v. Aquino [A.M. No. P-94-1081], this must include the behavior of court personnel as private individuals.” Nieto told the relative of PET revisor Maria Katrin Rosales.

“Assuming that what you claim is true, ignorance of the law excuses no one,” he added.

Several hours after the article was published, the camp of former Senator Bongbong Marcos filed a “Manifestation of Grave Concern with Extremely Urgent Motion to Investigate” to the Supreme Court.

According to Atty. Glenn Chong, one of the government officials who followed the PET recount said that BBM was worried that there’s already a conspiracy between the camp of VP Robredo and some PET staff that’s why they quickly urged the Supreme Court to investigate.

“Ang pakikipagbonding (fraternize) ng party revisor ni Robredo ay malinaw na IPINAGBABAWAL ng PET dahil ang gawing ito ay IPINAGBABAWAL hindi lamang ng Code of Conduct for Court Personnel pati na rin ng Canon of Judicial Ethics,” Chong while quoting what Marcos’ lawyer, Atty. Garcia said in their motion.

The camp of VP Robredo is not yet giving any comment on the accusations of the Marcos camp.

Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson addressed the church leaders in her Philippine Star Article on July 3, 2018.

Church leaders became a vocal critic of President Rodrigo Duterte after the latter criticized God and some accounts in the Bible like the book of Genesis and the original sins of the mankind.

In her article Uson, who’s a Christian, clarified that she didn’t write the article to prove that Duterte didn’t commit a sin against God.

Uson said that she doesn’t want to argue with the Church leaders about the statements of President Duterte, but she wanted to reveal some insights to those people who chose to refuse God because of what the Church Leaders committed.

“Before I digress, let me just make myself clear: I AM NOT SAYING THAT THE PRESIDENT DID NOT COMMIT A SIN AGAINST “GOD.” I am not saying what he did was right. But since they are so quick to judge, let us also get answers from what these people (and to others also practicing the Christian faith) believe in – the Bible. This is not to argue with them, but rather to hopefully shed light to those who now refuse to believe in God or Jesus mainly because of what some of these “church leaders” portray.”, Mocha said.

She lectured the church leaders who criticized President Duterte with some bible verses and reminded them that Jesus Christ went to Earth, not to judge the humanity but to save them from their sins.

“According to John 3:17, “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.” Mocha reiterated.

“It is clear that Jesus Christ took to human form not to judge the man, nor to point out that we are sinners. Rather, he came to earth to save us from sin.”, Mocha added.

Uson pointed out that if they really care about the country, they should pray for the Philippines and for the President instead of criticizing her statements, because Jesus Christ didn’t condemn the sinners, instead he convinced them to believe in God.

“I have this message to our church leaders: if you love our country, then pray for it. Pray for our President and not condemn him. The Lord Jesus Christ, whom you preach to your followers, did not come to earth to condemn mankind for his sins, so who are you to condemn sinners?”, Asec. Mocha remarked.

She challenged the Church leaders that if they want Duterte to ask forgiveness to God, they should show kindness to the President to convince him to repent.

“If you want President Duterte to repent – if you think he committed sin, then why don’t you show him compassion and kindness? It is according to Romans 2:4, “God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance.” Ms. Uson ended.

2 year-old child left in the car by his parents who went to a drinking session

A case of irresponsibility reported by netizen Jasper Pascual caused an outrage on social media on Sunday.

Pascual, who went to a drinking session in a mall located in Pasig, Metro Manila made a disturbing discovery after he found a child alone inside a vehicle parked beside his car.

The child was alone, crying and looking for his parents. The car’s engine and air conditioner were also turned off that made Pascual call the security personnel of the mall to save the child.

Because of the possibility that the child might get suffocated because of the lack of air inside the vehicle, Pascual planned to destroy the windows of the car.

Fortunately, before he made the move, the parents of the child who allegedly went to a drinking session has been successfully located by the security guards.

According to the report of Pascual, the parents of the child became angry with the security team for calling them about their child that they intendedly left inside their vehicle.

“MAGULANG NA WALWAL INIWAN ANG BABY SA LOOB NG KOTSE SA PARKING LOT”

So pauwi na ako from metrowalk and i was parked beside this toyota fortuner, ng mapansin ko na may parang umiiyak na bata. Heavily tinted yung car niya so di ko mapansin if may kasama siya or wala. But then bago ko sumakay sa car ko hinahampas ng baby yung salamin ng car and mas lalong lumakas yung pagiyak niya. It’s a cry for help! And parang he wants to come out. So kinapalan ko na mukha ko na tignan yung car if sino kasama niya. And nagulat ako kasi walang kasama yung baby. Nasusuffocate na siya. And hindi din naka start yung car so walang aircon. Imagine! She was also shocked na bata pala yung nasa loob. Kala daw niya pusa lang yung tunog since sobrang liit ng crack nung window and nasa kabilang side siya. Luckily i was parked talaga sa tabing tabi nung baby.

Naiisip niyo ba possibility na mamatay to?

President Duterte warns DPWH Mark Villar over delayed and failed gov’t projects: Siya ang responsable dito!

President Rodrigo Duterte warned Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Mark Villar over the delayed and failed projects of the government.

During his speech during the opening ceremony of the National Science and Technology week in Davao City, Duterte spoke for the first time about his discontent with the performance of the DWPH.

“So I would like to call the attention of the secretaries, especially Secretary Villar, that if there is any slippage of any work of any kind by the national government. If you delay or if I see tomorrow, beginning tomorrow, and you are all invited to see me in Malacañan,” he said

“Kaya sinasabi ko sa inyo. I’m exacting now something of like this. ‘Yang project mo pagka pumalpak, I will hold the Secretary responsible,” he added

He was disheartened after he saw no roads in the country built by the government that has been finished on time without anomalies.

“Wala akong nakitang p***** i**** daan dito sa Pilipinas na natapos on time na hindi produced ng graft and corruption.” he said.

“Every program of the government ends up in an investigation,” he added.

Duterte demanded that he don’t want to see a failed or delayed project under his administration that vowed to fight graft and corruption.

“Lahat ng bagay. Kung magtingin ako sa TV, kung lahat itong p**—walang mangyari sa gobyerno,”

He also believes that if the graft and corruption in the Philippines would still continue, the future of the country would be put in danger.

“If we do not cut on corruption, we will never, never improve,”

Duterte urged the public to sue the government if they got involved in the accident because of the delayed projects of the government.

“Pag nahulog ka diyan, nabunggo ka unlighted, uncovered, ganoon, you sue the government. Pagka — siguradong manalo kayo diyan.” he said.

“Sue the government and I will sue the supervisor and maybe ask the Secretary, ‘Kindly explain to me kung bakit ganito ang sitwasyon ‘” he added.

He also repeated his willingness to remove the public bidding system and replace it with the Swiss Challenge.

Lahat gusto ko Swiss challenge na lang. Swiss challenge, you produce the bridge and I’ll pay you. If you do not publish it in accordance with the specs, as my specifications, I will not pay you,” he said.

“Kasi lahat ng highway acquisition or easements, to widen the shoulders of the road or to make it a full-length ends up in corruption… kung lahat itong p** — walang mangyari sa gobyerno,” he added.

As of writing, Sec. Mark Villar is not yet releasing a statement on the warning of President Duterte.

Agot Isidro describes the current PH situation is a nightmare: “Hindi ka magising”

Actress Agot Isidro slammed the government again via her Twitter post, saying that the current situation of the Philippines is already a “nightmare”.

Agot made the tweet after the killings of several mayors and after the alleged final draft of the proposed Federal constitution leaked on the internet.

“Parang bangungot na hindi ka magising. Yan ang Pilipinas ngayon.” Isidro tweeted.

Agot who’s being rumored to run on the senatorial election under the opposition ticket also labeled the Duterte admin as the “bloodiest” government.

“This is the bloodiest administration ever. Di pa kayo natatakot dun?” Isidro wrote.

While her fans agreed of what she said, some Duterte supporters couldn’t stop themselves from defending the President again against the criticisms of the actress.

Netizen Harry Reyes pointed out that Agot is turning a blind eye to the achievements of the Duterte administration.

Netizen Hogan Cakir meanwhile, made a sarcastic response to Agot Isidro’s latest tweet against the government.

Netizen Julius Bugayong even wondered why Isidro can’t see the good things that the Duterte administration made to destroy criminality.

Netizen Nancy Moon said that the Duterte administration is a nightmare only to the members of the opposition because they can’t do more corruption anymore.

These are the other comments made by the netizens against Isidro:

Some Duterte supporters also confronted Isidro in her own Twitter post.

Award-winning Australian journalist believes that AUS acting as they’re the victims in brawl with PH is “B*llsh*t”

Award-winning Australian journalist,  publisher and editor of New Matilda Chris Graham despite being an Aussie didn’t side with his fellow countrymen who got involved in a controversial brawl happened in the Philippine Arena against Gilas Pilipinas last week.

In latest article in newmatilda.com which all about the brawl between the basketball players of two countries, Graham said that the story of the Australian team that they were the victims during the brawl is “b*llsh*t.”

“The commentary in Australia is overwhelmingly that we were the victims in the fracas. I don’t think it’s stretching the imagination to think that the rest of the world won’t be so sympathetic, in large part because there’s these things called ‘television cameras’, ‘slow motion replay’ and ‘simple common sense’, which, when applied, will leave the viewer in no real doubt about who the bad guys are,” Graham said.

“Long story short, it’s us,” he added.

After sharing the footage of the basketball brawl between PH and AUS, he addressed the other Australians that if they were not convinced that the basketball representatives of their country were not wrong in what they did, they might be “part of a very long sporting tradition” of their country of “accepting exceptionally bad behavior”.

He noted that one of the Australian players, Daniel Kickert, quickly fled the court after unleashing his flying elbow to his Filipino opponent during the match.

“After assaulting at least two other Filipino players, and then turning and running as he’s chased across the court, Kickert manages to escape to the safety of some officials, but not before turning and dancing and gesturing at the Filipino players to come and have another go.” he said

Graham believes that what Kickert did is considered as an criminal assault.

He also noticed the Australian commentator, only focusing their eyes on the Filipino players while they’re not pointing out the bad behaviors of their basketball representatives.

“The ‘cheap’ play from the Filipino was a pretty common offensive foul on a player, Chris Goulding, who was shaping up, and who was preparing to make contact. At 5:50, even the commentators note Gouding’s reaction was exaggerated, and that what the Filipino player actually did was “chesting”. Kickert’s strike, by contrast, was a blindside elbow to the jaw of a player who wasn’t expecting it.” Graham said.

“And yet, the commentators continued: “[A Filipino] player should be fined for throwing such a soft punch anyway.” he added.

However, as a human rights advocate, Graham said that the “bad sporting behavior” of the Australians is the least of their problems.

“But then, we jail and torture children on faraway islands and demonise some of the nation’s poorest people. I guess being bad sports is the least of our problems, but maybe it’s part of the key to a more honest assessment of our real national character.” he said.

Until today, basketball fans are still debating on who’s the team who really started the brawl. Even some Filipinos sided with the Australians, saying that members of Gilas Pilipinas should became humble despite the alleged trash talk that they received from the Boomers.
