Binatikos ng isang grupo ng mga asawa ng sundalo si Patrolman Joebert Lacea na isa ring miyembro ng PNP Special Action Force dahil diumano sa pagiging madaldal nito sa kanyang mga nagiging ka-chat.
Sa isang Facebook post ay hindi naitago ng grupong Legal Army Wives ang kanilang pagkadismaya kay Lacea.
Ayon sa kanila ay hindi dapat ipaalam ng mga sundalo o pulis sa mga ka chat nila ang kanilang mga plano at pupuntahan dahil maaring ikapahamak ito hindi lang niya kundi ng mga kasama niya sa mga misyon.

Ayon din sa kanila ay tila nadamay pa ang mga sundalo sa isyu na kinaharap ni Lacea matapos itong akusahan ng pagiging babaero.
Pinaliwanag nila na ang mga maraming sundalo ang “loyal” sa kanilang mga minamahal.
Humingi naman ng tawad si Lacea sa kanyang nagawa at sinabing hindi niya balak magviral o magpasikat.
Maalala na naitampok sa KMJS ang istorya nila Lacea at Richelle Amorcilla.
Sa isang video ay makikitang sinubukang humabol ni Amorcilla sa grupo ni Lacea na papunta na sa kanilang bagong misyon.
Marami man ang kinilig ay marami rin ang tumaas ang kilay matapos nilang malaman na may mga nakarelasyon din ang nasabing pulis sa parehong taon.
Ipinagtanggol naman ni Lacea ang sarili at sinabing hindi niya kasalanan kung magmahal muli siya.
Former Senator Bam Aquino slammed the decision of President Rodrigo Duterte to grant pardon to US Marine Lance Corporal Joseph Scott Pemberton.
In a tweet, Aquino criticized the decision of the court against Pemberton and also the pardon granted to him by the President.
According to him, many Filipinos needed the same treatment.

Pemberton was convicted for ending the life of Filipina transwoman Jennifer Laude in 2014.
The American soldier was put in detention for six years after the Olongapo City Regional Trial Court (RTC) ordered the early release of Pemberton, citing his Good Conduct and Time Allowance (GCTA).
Pemberton also reportedly paid 4.5-M to the family of the victim.
The camp of Laude opposed the decision of the court.
However, President Duterte ended the debate on Pemberton’s release after he granted an absolute pardon to the US Marine.
The decision of the President received criticisms from celebrities and netizens.
Duterte defended his decision, saying that the Philippines didn’t treat Pemberton fairly.
“It is not the fault of Pemberton na hindi na na-compute because we should allow him, the good character presumption kasi wala namang nagreport na Marines na nagsabi na nagwawala siya,” said Duterte.
“So sabi ko kay Justice Secretary, Medialdea, pinatawag ko sila kanina, sabi ko it’s my decision to pardon. Correct me if I’m wrong but ito ang tingin ko sa kaso. We have not treated Pemberton fairly,” he added.
Pemberton is planning to go back to school when he leaves the country.
Buhay Party-list Representative Lito Atienza expressed disappointment over the project of the Department of Environment and National Resources in Manila Bay.
In an interview with One News, Atienza said that the “white sand” being put in Manila Bay would not change the fact that the waters in the said tourist spot were still unsafe for the people.
According to him, DENR is not addressing the problem of Manila Bay directly and wasting the money of the people.
“We are not addressing the problem correctly, lipstick nang lipstick ang ginagawa mo. Pinapaganda mo ang mukha, pero hindi mo naman inaayos ‘yung tunay na sanhi ng problema. Kaya sayang ang pera,” Atienza said.
“Either Sec. Cimatu and Usec. Antiporda, mag swimming kayo diyan. Kapag ka kayo ay nakalulon ng isang kutsarita ng tubig sa Manila Bay, palagay ko matagal kayo sa ospital,” he added.
He even cautioned the people not to eat seashells being caught in Manila Bay.
“Mali ‘yung sinasabi ng DENR na mabubuhay ulit ang mga shell fish dito… Lason pa rin ‘yan. Huwag kayong kakain ng talaba, tahong, at anumang galing sa Manila Bay until all the sewage, ‘yung dumi ng ating mga toilet, ay mapigil na ang pagdaloy diyan,” said Atienza.
On September 8, Atienza blamed the two water concessionaires operating in National Capital Region for making Manila Bay polluted.
He said that the waters of Manila Bay would remain unswimmable as long as the two companies are not cleaning the water.
Atienza became Mayor of Manila City and also Environment Secretary.
The camp of Norman Mangusin, also known as Francis Leo Marcos (FLM) denied the rumors that the self-proclaimed businessman and philanthropist was found lifeless inside his cell.
The rumors started in some Facebook groups dedicated to support Mangusin who’s currently detained at Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City because of multiple charges.
According to the rumor, the social media sensation was found lifeless because of having a nightmare.
One of the Facebook user who posted the said news even used an edited photo of GMA News to convince more people to believe the rumor.

However, Mangusin’s secretary, Yhama Dela Cruz Tan denied the reports, saying that her boss is still alive.

Mangusin became popular because of his live videos showing his philanthropic activities.
He even encouraged rich people to be like him and give away their money to the needy.
Mayor Isko Moreno said that every public official are dreaming to become the chief executive of the country.
In an online forum of the Foreign Correspondents Association of the Philippines, Moreno answered the question about his plans in the 2022 Presidential Election.
Moreno didn’t answer the question directly, however, he pointed out that every public official dreamed to be the leader of the country.
“There’s no point to lie. I have to be honest. Alam mo lalahatin ko, simula kagawad ng barangay, kagawad ng LGU o konsehal, vice mayor, mayor, governor, congressman, lahat ‘yan gusto maging Presidente,” Moreno said.

Senate President Vicente Sotto III told the critics that the decision of President Rodrigo Duterte to pardon US Marine Lance Corporal Joseph Scott Pemberton is immune to any challenge.
In a tweet, Sotto said that the 1987 constitution itself granted the President of the Philippines to pardon any convicted person.
Because of the pardon, Pemberton’s civil rights were already fully restored.
According to the Senate President, the only thing that critics could do if they wanted to stop the President from granting pardon is to change the constitution.
“Pardon of a convict is a power granted to the President by d Constitution Article VII, Sec 19. Such charity is immune from any challenge from any person, institution or other branch of government,” said Sotto.
“Any complaint about its exercise is futile. Seek to amend the Consti if u wish,” he added.

Meanwhile, Senator Panfilo Lacson said that President Duterte “ended” all the debate about Pemberton issues, including his Good Conduct and Time Allowance (GCTA) after he pardoned the US soldier.
“That settled all debates and discussion on the legality of Pemberton’s GCTA issues. Some people may question the wisdom and reasons behind the grant of absolute pardon by the President until they are black and blue,” Lacson stated.
“Since we cannot question the exercise of that power by the President under the Constitution, it will be a waste of time and effort to further deliberate on the matter,” he added.
Not all lawmakers are in favor of Duterte’s decision including Senator Risa Hontiveros.
“The Presidential pardon of Pemberton is an unbelievable affront to the LGBTQI+ community & to the Filipino people. Many Filipinos who committed lesser crimes are never afforded this privilege. Isang Amerikanong pumatay sa Pilipina pa ang inuna,” Hontiveros stated.
