The security personnel who went viral on social media after he was accused of taking advantage of Marian Rivera during an event finally ended his silence.

In a Facebook post, Earl Nerona-Pressman addressed the netizens, saying that the event happened six months ago.

The video showed Earl leaning his head from where Marian was standing, raising the eyebrows of the netizens who thought that the security personnel was trying to peek at the actress.

Earl explained that he leaned his head because his colleague was trying to whisper a message to him.

He urged the netizens to stop judging him as his work was already affected by the issue.

Netizens were now monitoring comedian Ruffa Mae Quinto and boxing legend Manny Pacquiao, who were also named endorsers of the company Neri Naig endorsed.

It can be recalled that Neri was facing multiple charges for allegedly asking people to invest in Dermacare despite having no permit to do so.

Neri was detained for violating RA 8799, or the Securities Regulation Code, and insisted that she was only an endorser of Dermacare.

Aside from Neri, other celebrities were facing complaints from the investors of Dermacare.

Netizens speculated that Ruffa Mae and Manny might also face charges as they were also labeled as brand ambassadors of the brand.

Even the talent manager and Ogie Diaz also discussed the rumors.

However, many netizens were skeptical that Manny would follow the same fate as Neri due to his influence.

As of writing, Ruffa and Manny have yet to give any statement on the rumors.

Several netizens claimed that Neri Naig directly offered them to invest in a now-defunct company.

It can be recalled that Neri was currently detained after she received complaints from the investors of the beauty company Dermacare for violating RA 8799 or the Securities Regulation Code.

A netizen shared on his Threads that Neri sent him a message asking him to invest P850,000 in exchange for P7,000 monthly interest for 10 years.

The netizen admitted that he was almost convinced to invest because of the fast return of investment.

“I didn’t have 850k to invest at that time pero I was seriously considering yung 250k investiment. They promised 7k monthly returns for 10 years, roi in 3 yrs and more than 3x your capital after 10 yrs,” the netizen said.

“Medyo too good to be true talaga. naforesee ko din ba na mababankrupt sila?” she added.

In the said email, Neri said that if Dermacare ever files for bankruptcy, their legal team was tasked to ease the worry of the investors.

Meanwhile, an official from Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) already questioned the business model of Dermacare.

Rasonable ba yung value niya? Kasi baka kapirasong sabon, Kojic soap, mga isang libo o PHP1,500 yung isa, reasonable ba yan?” SEC enforcement director Filbert Flores said.

In an interview, Nino said that Jojo and Richard’s camp have yet to appear in the arraignment for the case Sandro filed against them because the independent contractors filed a motion to review.

The review would last for sixty days.

As the review was ongoing, Jojo and Richard could still ask Sandro for a settlement, which Nino believed would be difficult.

Matuto kang magpatawad!’” he added.

On a serious note, Nino was still affected by what happened to his son.

Sa totoo lang, sana nasiyahan pa sila,” he said.

The Philippine National Police said that they received information that some attendees of a rally held at EDSA in recent days in support of Vice President Sara Duterte were paid.

During a press conference at Camp Crame, Quezon City, on November 27, PNP Spokesperson Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo said the attendees were allegedly paid to attend the EDSA shrine.

The attendees also received free transportation and food.

“There are some videos na lumalabas, if I may share again na ‘yung iba doon allegedly were transported from their barangays papunta doon sa lugar. Pinangakuan daw na babayaran sila at papakainin,” said Fajardo.

“It was documented, hindi ko alam kung sino nagpalabas nito. We just want to share it with you,” she added.

However, Fajardo even admitted that they didn’t want to judge the other attendees.

“We don’t want to pre-judge our fellow Filipinos who were promised something and were used for their own vested interests. We’re not sure if this is true. We’re just sharing it because it is circulating on social media,” she stated.

According to the official reports, 100 people attended the rally in EDSA, which some Duterte supporters described as ‘People Power 4.’

The rally happened amid the possible charges that Duterte may face for her recent statements against President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
