Influencer Rendon Labador made a huge mistake during his new criticism against FPJ’s Batang Quiapo leading actor Coco Martin.

In his now-deleted Facebook post, Labador posted a video of a taping taken in Quiapo and made a message against Martin, calling him out for the inconvenience being brought by Batang Quiapo production.

“STORBO SA QUIAPO!!!! Dito ako nasasaktan kapag apektado sila. Kahit pagtulungan ninyo akong lahat, ipaglalaban ko parin ang alam kong tama!” said Labador.

“Coco Martin, huwag kang mag t*nga t*ng*han.. Maaring madaming blessings sayo pero sana may puso ka para sa mga maliit nating negosyante na apektado sa ginagawa mo. UMALIS KA NA SA QUIAPO at humanap ng sarili mong STUDIO para hindi ka nakaka storbo sa paghahanap buhay nila,” he added.

However, some netizens told Labador that the video he posted was taken during the production of GMA Network’s show ‘Lihim ni Urduja’.

They noticed that the Kapuso show cast Kylie Padilla can be seen in the video posted by the motivational speaker.

“The design is very urduja. mema talaga to si rendon no di naman yan batang quiapo e, mema say ka nalang talaga,” one netizen said.

It can be recalled that Labador was urging the Batang Quiapo production team to build their own studio after some vendors complained that their businesses were affected by the show.

But according to the people behind the Kapamilya top-rated show, they already addressed the concern of the vendors.

The return of one of the most popular shows on TV5, ‘Face to Face’ became one of the trending topics on social media in the past few days.

On May 1, the popular talk show would return with its new hosts Karla Estrada and Alex Calleja.

While many netizens were excited about the upcoming show, some of them were saddened that Amy Perez, the original host of the program would not return.

In an interview with Pep.ph, ‘Tyang Amy’ confirmed that she received an offer to host Face to Face again, but decided to refuse it because of some reasons.

According to her, she’s not planning to leave ABS-CBN yet.

“Hindi naman sa ayaw. Nakakahiya lang sa ABS-CBN kasi if aalis ako, kasi never naman ako nawalan ng show kahit nagkaroon ng pandemic at nawalan kami ng franchise.” Amy said.

“Hindi naman ako pinabayaan ng ABS-CBN kaya sobrang thankful ako sa kanila. Wala naman akong exclusive contract but I respect and value the fact na never akong nawalan ng show kaya super thankful ako.” she added.

She believed that it was already the right time to give chance to others to host the legendary talk show.

“And since nagawa ko na ang Face to Face, baka it’s time para iba naman ang gumawa at baka may offer sila na ibang flavor. Saka wala na rin si Hans. Baka hindi ko na makaya without him.” she stated.

Amy was referring to her former co-host Hans Mortel who passed away in 2021.

It can be recalled that some clips from Face to Face kept getting viral on social media, a testament that the show was still popular to the masses despite having no episodes for many years already.

Goodbye Wowowin! Willie Revillame nag-resign na diumano sa AllTV

Television host Willie Revillame reportedly resigned from AllTV several weeks after he faced controversy because of the low ratings of his program Wowowin.

The news has been revealed by veteran columnist Cristy Fermin who said that Willie was already done working with AllTV because of the recent developments happening in the said station.

Fermin understood that sometimes, even successful businessman and celebrity like Revillame was also prone to making mistakes.

“Nag-resign na po siya. Nag-resign na po siya sa AMBS 2. Marami siyang plano, marami siyang gustong mangyari pero sabi nga natin paminsan-minsan po ay sumasablay tayo sa pagde-desisyon,” she said.

“Pero sa pagkakataon ito, yung usapin po ng utang na loob na pinag-ugatan ng pag-alis niya ng GMA7 para sumama po siya sa mga Villar ng ALLTV. Wala na siyang kailangang ipaliwanag pa doon. Wala nang kailangan pa dahil ibinigay na niya lahat-lahat,” she added.

It’s not yet known if Revillame wanted to go back to GMA-7 where his show became one of the top-rated programs.

It can be recalled that the television host received criticisms after he asked the netizens not to criticize his show on AllTV, reminding them that he was helping unfortunate people using his show.

He also reminded some members of the showbiz press about the help he gave to them.

As a response, Fermin decided to return the properties she received from the television host and even urged Revillame to apologize to the showbiz community for his statements.

Aljur Abrenica and Kylie Padilla met during the 1st Summer Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Parade of Stars on April 2, 2023.

In some videos posted on several social media platforms, it can be seen that Aljur tried to help Kylie to climb the stage, but it’s not certain if the latter allowed her former partner to touch her.

Some netizens even said that they didn’t see Kylie holding the hands of Aljur while climbing the stage.

Another video also showed Kylie and Aljur talking together on the stage, a sign that they’re still friends despite the outcome of their marriage.

It can be recalled that Aljur just recently admitted that he cheated on Kylie during their relationship which became the cause of their breakup.

“Yeah, totoo naman, totoo naman iyon. On my part, oo. Ina-admit ko iyon, may pagkakamali ako.” Aljur told Toni Gonzaga.

He even tried to save their marriage but he realized that it’s already too late.

Motivational speaker Rendon Labador made a different approach to address the criticisms being received by the pricing of one cup of rice in his restaurant.

It can be recalled that Rendon’s restaurant, Episode Bar + Kitchen went viral after a customer posted a photo of the menu showing that one cup of pandan rice cost P100.

Instead of taking the common approach to explaining the pricing of his rice, Rendon made a way to use his rice to ‘motivate’ the people.

He now called it ‘motivational rice’ saying that people should work hard so they could afford it.

“Ako mismo ang mag se-serve sayo sa oras ng tagumpay mo! SEE YOU AT THE TOP!!! Thank you for making THE MOTIVATIONAL RICE “The Number 1 Rice In The Philippines,” Rendon said.

“MOTIVATIONAL RICE!!! Pilitin mong umangat sa buhay hanggang sa ma afford mo. This is not to discriminate pero ito ay simbolo ng mga taong lumalaban at hindi sumusuko sa buhay. So ilang kanin ang kaya mong bilhin?” he added.

In another post, people should not complain about the pricing of their rice just because they couldn’t afford it.

“Mindset ng karamihang pinoy, kung hindi mo afford gagawa ka nalang ng mga excuses sa buhay at isisisi sa ibang tao ang failure mo.” he said.

“Gusto ninyo isinusubo nalang lahat sa inyo ang tagumpay. LUMABAN KA at pilitin mong umangat sa buhay para yung MAHAL sayo ngayon ay maging MURA balang araw. Again, this is not to discriminate but a wake up call para itaas mo ang standards mo! Gamitin mong MOTIVATION yan!!!” he added.

Comedienne Pokwang, gave her reaction after some rumors circulated that her former husband, Lee O’Brian was spotted at a Mexican restaurant Bonifacio Global City while having a sweet moment with a waitress.

In her tweet, the comedienne acknowledge the said rumors but clarified that she didn’t mind if her former husband was having a good time with other women.

According to her, Lee deserved the said waitress.

Actor and director Carlos Morales shared that he already passed the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) in America at the age of 47.

Morales, who’s known for being one of the hosts of ‘That’s Entertainment’ said that he decided to take a risk of leaving the Philippines during the pandemic.

According to him, he realized that people were struggling to find a job in the Philippines during the pandemic so he decided to travel to America where his father was a citizen.

“Everything was so chaotic, everyone was confined in their homes. That made me think to just go back to the US and pursue my nursing career. At least with health care, walang [work] hiatus. So I left everything behind not knowing what’s going to happen but my goal is to pass NCLEX at all cost!” Morales shared in an interview with Pep.ph.

“Of course, everything comes with a cost. Leaving everything behind was a hard decision on my part, but I tried to be firm with the future that I want, no turning back anymore,” he added.

While in the process of becoming a nurse in America, Morales said that he worked as a fast food restaurant crew to earn extra money.

“When I started applying for my NCLEX application and I know it’s going to take six months the least, I decided to work for the meantime, and the fastest way is to apply at McDonald’s. That was the hardest job I’ve ever had in my life so I really salute the fastfood restaurants crew.” he shared.

Despite being a nurse, Morales still wanted to go back to the Philippines and do some projects.

Actor John Regala appealed to the television networks and also to director/actor Coco Martin to help him to return to show business.

In an interview with Abante, John expressed his willingness to return to acting, saying that he was facing financial problems because of his medications.

It can be recalled that John already received help from Coco when he became one of the cast of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano from August 2016 to September 2016.

Regala portrayed Congressman Subito Randolf, a corrupt lawmaker who became an antagonist in the said program.

Four years after leaving the show, John said that he still wanted to work with Coco.

In another interview, the award-winning actor believed that he was still capable to work in show business despite his health problems.

“Pakiusap ko lang po sana sa mga television network, bigyan niyo naman ako ng trabaho. Kaya ko pa naman [umarte] dahil ito ang makapagpapasaya sa akin. Maraming salamat po.” said Regala.

“Nandito lang po ako sa aking condominium unit at naghihintay ng pagkakataong makabalik,” he added.

John even said that he was not used to asking for financial help and wanted to work for his own money.

“Gusto ko makabalik, yung makapaghanapbuhay. Hindi ako sabay na nanghihingi. Nakakahiya yung manghihingi ka. Sanay akong tumulong,” he stated.

Coco didn’t respond to the appeal of John as of writing.

Meanwhile, fans of John were hoping that Coco would give another chance for the former action star to become part of the ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’.

Kapamilya star Coco Martin has been informed about the opening of motivational speaker Rendon Labador’s restaurant in Quezon City on March 25.

It can be recalled that Labador’s first grand opening has been considered a ‘flop’ after the influencer claimed that they fail to sell tickets that resulted in him losing P1.2-M.

He even blamed Martin’s fans, saying that they couldn’t afford the entrance fee for his restaurant.

In the second reopening of his restaurant on March 31, Labador offered free entrance and drinks, especially to the fans of the actor.

Despite the criticisms he was receiving from Labador, the actor couldn’t say anything bad against the motivational speaker.

In an interview with the press during the premiere night of his entry movie for the 2023 Metro Manila Summer Film Festival, Martin said that he’s not paying attention to the negative comments made by Labador against him.

Labador said that he wanted the restaurant of Labador to be successful.

“Wala po ako kakayahan para magsalita po sa mga bagay na ‘yan. Pero ako siyempre, ang push ko sana ay maayos na, at maging okay na ang lahat dahil di maganda na nagsisiraan at may mga sinasabi kang hindi maganda sa kapwa mo.” he said.

“I wish na sana maging successful ang negosyo niya at maging okay na lahat,” he added.

Meanwhile, Labador just launched a survey a reaction to Martin’s statement.

“Bagong action star, kanino ka?” Labador asked his followers.

 

Mga holdaper na nag-viral matapos habulin ng moto vlogger, himas rehas na ngayon

A group of holduppers who went viral on social media after being chased by a moto vlogger has successfully been traced and caught by the authorities.

Currently, the suspects were being held at QCPD Station 16 and they already recovered the bag the suspect took from the victim.

On April 1, Jett Lau shared a video of the said holduppers after he saw them forcefully take a bag of a student along Fairview, Quezon City.

It can be seen that Lau tried to chase the said group so he could take a clear photo of them.

He then reported the incident to the authorities.

Lau became extra careful while chasing the suspects because according to them, one of them was armed.

“Sabi ko, anong nangyari? Hinoldap daw iyong estudyante. So hinabol ko. Malaking motor iyong dala ko eh, kaya naabutan naman natin kaya lang medyo nahirapan kami sumingit,” Lau said.

According to him, he considered trying to forcefully stop the suspects but he decided to stop his plan because of the possible risks.

“‘Di ko naman puwede gawin kasi walang helmet. ‘Pag sumemplang din iyon, siyempre inisip ko ‘yung puwedeng mangyari. Baka pwedeng maaksidente,” he explained.

The video reached 17 million views as of writing, becoming the most-watched video made by a Filipino moto vlogger on Facebook.
