Millions of netizens in the Philippines have already watched a video uploaded by a moto-vlogger working with the ride-hailing app JoyRide.
The video was about a man who’s only identified as ‘Mark’ who used the said app to fetch his girlfriend during their scheduled meeting.
However, the rider who’s tasked to pick up the girlfriend by Mark discovered that the girl was with another man.
The rider chatted with the girl and became more surprised by the latter’s answers, saying that ‘Mark’ was her brother and not her boyfriend.
“Kuya ko yun [si] Mark” the girl told the rider.
After the video reached millions of views, it was already expected that even Mark was aware of it and even made a statement thanking the rider for catching his girlfriend.
This time. Wala na tlaga it’s over. Salamat sa video mo boss Tony,” Mark said.
Because of the issue, the said app also went viral on social media.
Even the convenience store where the rider picked up the girl also became popular on social media and some netizens didn’t waste the opportunity to take a photo of the said place.
Jormiel Labador defended his brother Rendon Labador from fashion influencer Bryan Boy, who recently criticized the latter for promoting his ‘motivational rice.’
It can be remembered that the issue started when the newly-opened restaurant by Rendon received criticisms because of the pricing of their extra rice, which costs P100.
Rendon made a creative way to address the issue, giving a branding to his expensive rice and challenging the netizens to work hard to afford it.
Bryan then made a video making fun of Rendon’s videos, saying that the motivational rice was not expensive enough compared to ‘Gucci’ Rice.’
The fashion vlogger claimed that Gucci rice costs 20,000 euros or 1,212,000 pesos.
Bryan said.
And I’m talking about my present!
“Yung rice namin galing siya ng Gucci. Bale yung one kilo ng rice, this is 20,000 euros.
‘Yan po yung rice na ginagamit namin to make chicken arroz caldo… So no, hindi po ako namo-motivate ng 100 pesos, dito po tayo sa 20,000-euro Gucci rice,”
Jormiel was visibly disappointed with the statement made by Bryan, saying that the latter should not involve the poor people in his statement.
“Bakit niya dinadamay ‘yung mahihirap?
He also expressed doubts about the existence of Gucci rice and challenged Bryan to show any evidence to prove his claims.
As of writing, Bryan has yet to respond to Jormiel, who’s known for being the opposite of his brother.
The chairman of Television and Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE Inc.) Romeo Jalosjos reportedly ended the internal issue surrounding Eat Bulaga after a productive meeting between him, Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon.
According to some reports, Jalosjos gave the creative control of the longest-running noontime show, which may save the job of the current production staff of Eat Bulaga.
Part of the agreement was not to remove any current staff of Eat Bulaga that is handling the production.
It also gave the TVJ the power to decide what they really wanted to happen with the future of the noontime show.
The meeting may result at the end of the rumored rebranding of the noontime show.
It could be recalled that some showbiz columnists reported that TVJ and other hosts of Eat Bulaga might leave the show if the Jalosjos family insisted on handling the creative control of the show.
Fans are now confident that nothing will change to the format of Eat Bulaga as Tito already announced that he’s already satisfied with the current status of the show.
It can be recalled that the issue started when reports about the removal of the founding producer of Eat Bulaga, Tony Tuviera, circulated on social media.
Tuviera was close to the TVJ and other Eat Bulaga hosts.
The issue became more clear when the legendary trio started to give hints about the issue during some episodes of the noontime show.
It’s not yet known if the scheduled press conference by Tape Inc on April 15 will still continue.

In a Facebook post, John Karlo ‘JK’ Dablo criticized some content creators who featured the story of his wife, who passed away after a five-year battle with endometrial cancer.
JK was the one who broke the news to the netizens, and it quickly went viral on social media because of the lesson shared by the online seller before passing away.
However, some content creators misled the netizens and changed some of the facts about Jelyn’s passing.
“Please STOP making videos of my LATE WIFE. It is all Obvious that all of your intentions are not PURE. Pinagkakakitaan nyo sa VIEWS, like and Subscriptions SA CHANNEL NYO and PAGE. We tried to message some of these content creators and guess what, we were told that the video they posted pertaining to my wife was for pure ENTERTAINMENT purposes only!!!”JK said.
“My family and MY WIFE are not for your entertainment, were not your clowns. Please do not make a living out of our own misery.
Ginagawa nyong kasiyahan Yung kalungkutan namin sa buhay.” he added.
According to him, the said videos badly affected the image of his wife.
“You paraded my wife’s lifeless body on the cover of your videos and made her face a clickbait so you can gain fame and money.” he stated.
A man who claimed to be an illegitimate son of Richard Yap challenged the actor to a DNA test so the public would know the truth.
It can be recalled that Joshua Jensen, who’s a resident of Cavite, already asked Yap to recognize him several times and even said that he was ready to prove his claims via a DNA test.
However, Yap refused the proposal from Jensen, saying that he would let the lawyers work on the case.
“I think it is for our lawyers to talk about that. If I accept (the challenge), that means that we are guilty or we think that there is a chance, but there is really none. Why should I agree to what they want?” Yap said.
He even said that Jensen’s appearance might be related to his candidacy for the north district congressional post of Cebu City.
In 2022, Jensen personally went to Cebu City to file a case against Yap, saying that he had no choice because the actor didn’t want to talk to him.
Jensen told the actor.
“Hinintay mo pang dumating sa puntong ‘to.
In an interview with Aster Amoyo, Jensen said that he was informed about his relationship with Yap when he was 10 years old.
He believed that only a DNA test would prove his claims because Yap was not really willing to recognize him.
According to Jensen, he tried to see Yap several times personally, but the actor didn’t want to meet him.
Jensen also denied that he only wanted to have a share of the wealth of the actor.
Before becoming one of the top actors in the Philippines, Coco Martin faced several controversies, and one of the biggest might be his issue with Katherine Luna.
The issue started in 2005 when Coco and Katherine had a short-term relationship during the filming of ‘Masahista,’ and the actor was even convinced that he was the father of the baby.
However, the relationship between the two fell apart, and some people accused Coco of being an irresponsible father to the said child.
In 2011, Katherine said that she was willing to introduce their child again to Coco, who was already rising to stardom during that time.
Simula nung first month.” Katherine said.
Coco explained why he was having difficulties from support the child.
In 2014, Coco received advice from his manager not to quickly take custody of the child.
The mother of Katherine agreed to the proposal of Coco’s camp. However, the result turned out to be negative, and it was proven that Coco was not the father.
Coco admitted he felt sad because all the time, the child believed that he was his father.
“Negative.
“And may point, iniisip mo din yung bata. Siyempre on my part gusto ko akuin yung bata. Kasi wala siyang kasalanan eh. And di ko din alam anong pwedeng puntahan ngayon, paano na ngayon siya, yung pinaka inaasahan niya na hope wala pala,” he also said.

Ara Mina finally responded to her rumoured rift with her sister Christine Reyes.
In an interview with Marites University, Ara admitted that she felt sad about what her sister said.
However, she clarified that her relationship with her sister was fine.
But she was worried that Christine’s statement would reach their mother.
Fortunately, they convinced their mother to ignore the statement of her sister.
Ara then revealed that her mother has many problems that might contribute to her attitude.
She also believed that Christine only wanted to be taken care of.
“Kaya feeling mo hindi ka naalagaan kasi stress ‘yung mommy mo, iba iba kasi yung personality natin and how will you take it, eh siya [Christine] dala dala parin niya hanggang ngayon,” she said.
It can be recalled that Christine’s statement in 2021 went viral after she admitted that she was not happy living with her biological mother.
“Ever since I moved to my biological mom, I felt that I didn’t have a voice. So as much as possible, I don’t really talk,” Christine said.
“I was very neglected when I was a child, at six years old. I remember whenever there’s a problem, I would constantly hear words, ‘You never should have been born,” she added.
