The wedding of cosplayer Alodia Gosiengfiao with her partner Christopher Quimbo went viral on social media because of its dream-fantasy theme.

In the photos and videos posted on social media, netizens believed that Alodia’s wedding costs them millions of pesos.

However, some netizens joked that Alodia already brought back the money they spent from the wedding after they saw the principal sponsors of the internet celebrity.

In a post, Alodia thanked her principal sponsors that all came from prominent and wealthy families.

Director Darryl Yap admitted that he’s not really in good terms with his ‘hero’ and ‘idol’ veteran filmmaker Joel Lamangan.

In an interview with Pep, the 36-year-old director said that while he was receiving criticisms from Lamangan because of his beliefs, Yap said that he’s not planning to give a response because of his respect to the latter.

“I’ve loved his work for a very long time and the comment from him only confirms that I exist. And for that, I’m very thankful for that. I cannot, you know, say bad things about him, because he’s really ano, he’s really something else for me.” Yap said.

Yap also said that before he started associating himself with the Marcos family, Lamangan was still his friend on Facebook.

However, as of writing, Lamangan and Yap were no longer friends on social media after the legendary filmmaker unfriended the Maid in Malacañang director.

“We were friends in Facebook for a time. Ngayon hindi na, in-unfriend ako,” he shared.

He also revealed that he already sent a friend request to Lamangan but until now he’s not yet receiving a response.

It can be recalled that Yap became one of the top discussion during the mediacon of Lamangan’s new movie ‘Oras de Peligro’.

Yap questioned why he was being discussed by the people behind the said movie despite the fact that he’s not part of it.

He also called out Lamangan for lying after the latter claimed that Yap’s movie was trying to compete with Oras de Peligro.

Director Darryl Yap made a response to the statement of ‘Ako si Ninoy’ leading actor JK Labajo.

It can be recalled that the one-hit-wonder singer said that he was not interested in working with Yap, who’s currently promoting his new movie about Senator Ninoy Aquino Jr’s life.

“No, I definitely don’t want to be directed by Darryl Yap. I don’t want to work with him,” Labajo said.

‘Ako Si Ninoy’ was director by Yap’s rival Vince Tañada who also made ‘Katips’.

Yap then responded to Labajo’s remarks, questioning the logic of the singer’s statement.

“Kahit wala pa akong napapatunayan sa industry, never pa ako nakarinig na direktor ang nag-aaudition sa artista—kaya hindi ako ang maghahanap ng katrabaho kung sakali.” Yap said.

He also said that he didn’t offer any role for Labajo so he was wondering why the singer was refusing to work with him in the first place.

“Nauuna ang alok bago ang tanggi” he said.

It can be recalled that actress Cherry Pie Picache also refused to work with Yap despite not receiving an offer from the director.

Picache even questioned the conscience of Yap for allegedly spreading misinformation.

Yap also said that he was not interested in working with Picache despite her talent in acting.

The issue between the former actress and model Deniece Cornejo and actor Vhong Navarro has been revived after the netizens heard the story of former VJ Kat Alano in the hands of #RhymeswithWrong.

In 2014, the public talked about Cornejo and Navarro after the latter was allegedly ganged up by the group led by businessman Cedric Lee.

The public supported Navarro during those times while Cornejo became unpopular and even became the subject of memes.

Six years after the incident, the netizens discussed the said issue again and it seems that some of them expressed their support for Cornejo.

According to some of the tweets, Cornejo might be really a victim in the said incident after they read the statement from Alano.

However, some still doubt the statements of Cornejo.

Alano on June 15 revealed that a still famous celebrity destroyed her dignity despite wearing a t-shirt and jeans.

The post triggered the curiosity of the netizens and started to research and found that Alano also made a statement in 2014 amid the issue between Navarro and Cornejo.

“Vhong Navarro” has also became a trending topic on Twitter.

The info posted by Alano made the netizens to assume that Navarro was the celebrity being mentioned by the former.

Alano also said that she never filed a case against #RhymeswithWrong because he’s a relative of the right hand of a former President who assured that the celebrity would be cleared of any cases filed against him.

Navarro faced three complaints against two women and one lesbian and later on reportedly all junked by the Department of Justice (DOJ).

The case filed by Cornejo against Navarro was junked in 2017 because there was “no sufficient evidence.”

In 2018, Navarro won a case against Cornejo and Navarro.

Taguig City Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 74 Judge Bernard Pineda Bernal found Cornejo and Lee and several others guilty of grave coercion and sentenced them to serve six months and a maximum of three years and six months behind the bars.

However, Cornejo and Lee didn’t accept the ruling and asked the Office of the Court Administrator to remove the judge who handled the complaint of Navarro.

According to the camp of Navarro, he was forced to admit that he’s attempting to do something bad with Cornejo.

The issue between Toni Fowler and Jelai Andres reignited after the former declared that she was more beautiful than the latter.

LJ Satterfield admitted that she only pretended to have a relationship with popular content creator Ronnie Suan also known as ‘Boy Tapang’.

In her Facebook post, LJ said that while her relationship with Ronnie was only for drama, the influencer insisted that she did her part to convince the netizens.

LJ also said that she trusted Ronnie and even allowed him to guide her to become a content creator.

She also insisted that pretending to be in a relationship was a normal thing for influencers like them.

The content creator then claimed that she protected Ronnie and shielded him from controversies because of his real attitude.

“As content creators, this is a normal thing. At alam ng mga creators ya. Pero ikaw nag-guide sakin dahil wala akong alam sa pagyou-youtube. I trusted you. And you trusted me too. Influencer Ronnie Suan, popularly known as ‘Boy Tapang,’ hinted that he would bring his issue with former partner LJ Satterfield to Sen. Raffy Tulfo.

It can be remembered that on February 19, Suan and Satterfield exchanged accusations against each other and revealed that they were only acting as a couple for content.

The two spent the whole day trying to clean their reputation among the netizens instead of settling it privately.

Suan claimed that Satterfield was the one who suggested that they would pretend to be in a relationship to get social media engagements.

However, the influencer admitted that he fell in love with Satterfield and discovered that the latter was still in a relationship with another guy.

In his Instagram post, he wanted to level up their feud by bringing their issue to Tulfo’s show Wanted Sa Radyo.

“Chance naba makausap ko si Raffy Tulfo?” Suan said. “Idol pa naman ni mama panay nuod ng Tulfo sa wakas mapanuod muna ma sarili mong anak,”

It was expected that Suan would appear as soon as possible in the said program, especially since they’re famous people.

Freddie Aguilar admits not letting his daughter Maegan enter his home: ‘Di parin siya nagbabago’

Legendary OPM artist Freddie Aguilar admitted that he’s not yet accepting his daughter Maegan to enter his home despite the appeal from the latter.

It can be recalled that Maegan already made a public statement to reach her father and ask for help because of her condition hyperthyroidism.

Maegan narrated in the public service program Raffy Tulfo in Action that she already left her father’s custody when she was still 16 years old.

RTIA clarified that Freddie already sent his help to Maegan and paid her hospital bills. However, it seems that she was still not satisfied with the help she received.

“‘Tay, wala kasi akong ibang tatay, kayo lang, e. Hindi ko na po alam kung paano ito ayusin, unless din po willing kayo na tanggapin for who I am, what I am.” Maegan said.

In an interview with Aster Amoyo, Freddie spoke for the first time to respond to his daughter.

He admitted that Maegan was not allowed to enter his home, despite the fact that the latter’s child was living there.

“We are talking but she’s still not allowed in my house.Kasi nasa akin ‘yung anak niya si Anaya. Pinag-aaral namin pati ‘yung isang apo namin si Sky na nasa bahay din” Aguilar said.

Freddie explained that he wanted Maegan to change herself first before he allowed her to come back.

“Si Maegan, hindi siya pwede ‘don until malaman ko na talagang nagbago na siya. Kasi sinasabi niya sa’kin ‘tay nagbago na po ako. Sabi ko anak hindi mo kailangang sabihin na nagbago ka sa akin. Ako malalaman ko ‘yun anak.” he said.

‘Pagka alam ko na nagbago ka, ako mismo ang magsasabi sa’yo anak halika nagbago ka na e, pero hindi mo kailangan sabihin. May kasamang action ‘yan. With what you’re doing now, ‘di ka pa rin nagbabago,” he added.

 

Netizen naniniwala na maaring magkaroon ng snap election kung aabot ng milyon-milyon ang dadalo sa Freedom Day.

A netizen believed that a snap election that possibly overthrew the current administration was possible if only the opposition would unite on February 25.

In a tweet, Franklin Isaac revealed a study from a ‘political scientist’ claiming that if millions of people attended the ‘Freedom Day’ that will be held at EDSA Shrine, the government had no choice but to hold a snap election.

“A political scientist predicts that if millions show up in force on Freedom Day, the call for snap election shall happen!” Ysaac said.

“The call for snap election is getting louder and louder as Freedom Day nears!” he added.

Ysaac didn’t mention the name of the said political scientist who tried to predict another people power.

The netizen also believed that the result of the election last 2022 was rigged.

“Freedom Day is only the first of a series of protests until calls for new election minus automated system cancels 2022 election! Eto po Tagalog version na totoong may dayaan nung 2022 eleksyon,” he stated.

Meanwhile, a lawyer who supported the current administration couldn’t stop laughing at Ysaac’s posts.

“ahahahahahaha!!! ahahahaha! oh God. the sheer delusion.. ahahahaha!” Atty. Darwin Canete said.
