Fans of Eat Bulaga expressed concern over the rumored internal issue among officials of the longest-running noontime show in the Philippines.

After 44 years, Eat Bulaga was reportedly facing its most significant controversy because of a rumored power struggle between Television and Production Exponents (TAPE) Romeo Jalosjos and the founding producer of the noontime show Tony Tuviera.

Jalosjos, who’s now the big boss of Eat Bulaga, allegedly wanted Tuviera to be removed from the show despite the support being received by the producer from EB Dabarkads, including Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon.

Several showbiz reporters have already revealed that the iconic trio TVJ who has been Eat Bulaga’s face for 44 years, possibly leave the show due to the power struggle.

A report from Politiko.com also revealed that Jalosjos talked to Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, and Allan K to become the possible replacement for TVJ if the trio decided to quit the show.

Meanwhile, Jalosjos was allegedly not interested in letting Paolo Ballesteros and Ryan Agoncillo stay in Eat Bulaga.

However, fans of Eat Bulaga doubt that Jose, Wally, and Allan would accept the rumored offer from Jalosjos because of their close bonds with Tito, Vic, and Joey.

It can be recalled that Sotto already expressed support to Tuviera, saying that they’re not going to split.

It was also rumored that TVJ was planning to build their own show ‘Dabarkads’ to rival the new Eat Bulaga.

GMA and Jalosjos’ company still have a block time contract with GMA Network that was set to expire in 2026.

The rumored internal issue that might end the noontime show Eat Bulaga after 44 years already went viral on social media.

In the previous report, an executive of Eat Bulaga wanted to remove the show’s founding producer Tony Tuviera from the program.

Several of the show’s hosts reportedly supported Tuviera and were even ready to leave with him.

The issue became clearer after a report from Bilyonaryo revealed that the executive who wanted Tuviera to resign was former Zamboanga del Norte Rep. Romeo G. Jaloslos, who allegedly wanted complete control to Eat Bulaga.

Jalosjos is the current chairman of Television and Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE Inc.).

According to the said report, Jalosjos wanted Willie Revillame to be part of his new version of Eat Bulaga and had already reached the AllTV host about it.

Whether Revillame was ready to return as a noontime show host is unknown.

It was rumored that if ever that Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon decided to leave Eat Bulaga, they were planning to make another show titled ‘Dabarkads.’

TVJ was also reportedly planning to invite Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, Allan K, and Maine Mendoza to be part of the new show.

Tuviera and Jalolos have yet to release a statement about the issue.

 

 

Tito Sotto expresses support to Eat Bulaga producer Tony Tuviera amid rumored internal issue between the executives of the noontime show

Former Senate President and Eat Bulaga main host Tito Sotto posted a photo with him and the noontime show’s founding producer Tony Tuviera.

Sotto posted the photo amid the rumored internal issue among the executives of Eat Bulaga, who allegedly wanted Tuviera to resign.

The said issue might be one of the biggest in the 44-year history of the noontime show. It was reported that some hosts were ready to support Tuviera and leave Eat Bulaga if the other executives ever insisted on removing the founding producer.

Sotto confirmed on March 3, 2023 that he met Tuviera and willing to support him.

“Tito and Tony last night! Who says we’re splitting?” Sotto said.

Meanwhile one of Sotto’s friend made a cryptic comment that made several Eat Bulaga fans curious.

“May maiiwan ba boss sa kangkungan.” @dspyrey said.

As of writing, no one from the Eat Bulaga team confirmed the said internal issue.

Controversial actor Paolo Contis claimed that he was also a victim of a cheating girlfriend.

In an interview with GMA Sparkle claimed that he caught one of her girlfriends before having a vacation with another man.

“Nangyari sa akin iyan. Nagbakasyon yung isa sa mga girlfriend ko dati, tapos umuwi. Nagpadala ngayon ng photo album yung lalaki, parang regalo. Pagbukas ko, hindi siguro alam ng lalaki na ako yung magre-recieve ng package, pagbukas ko puro pictures nila na ano…sunset, naghahalikan.” Contis said.

He said his ex-girlfriend even made some alibis to convince him that his suspicions were wrong.

“Ang palusot sa akin, ‘Hindi, kasi photographer siya. Anong photographer? Kayong dalawa yung nasa picture, photographer siya?!” she said.

The actor even hinted that the woman he referred to worked in showbusiness, but not now because of losing popularity.

“Nag-alibi sa picture, ayun nalaos.” he said.

Contis had a relationship with LJ Reyes, Lian Paz, Isabel Oli, Nancy Castiglione, and Desiree Del Valle.

As of writing, none of Paolo’s ex-girlfriends responded to the actor’s claim.

It can be recalled that Paolo was also accused of being a womanizer because of leaving his former partners.

He’s currently in a relationship with Yen Santos.

Rendon Labador tells Coco Martin to leave Quiapo: “Tigas ng mukha mo”

Motivational speaker Rendon Labador directly addressed actor and director Coco Martin to leave Quiapo immediately after some vendors complained about the decreasing sales of their business because of the show.

It can be remembered that several vendors claimed that they were affected by the taping of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo because the production team allegedly closed some parts of the said place to ensure the security of the casts.

“Dear FPJ, Batang Quiapo! kung mag shooting kayo wag naman araw araw bumababa sales namin pag nanjan kayo eh haystttt coco hanggang kelan nanaman kaya tong palabas mo,” one of the vendor said.

Rendon then told Coco not to be a thick face and leave Quiapo immediately so the vendors could do their business normally again.

“Hindi pa ba tumitigil? Tigas ng muka mo COCO MARTIN, kailangan pa bang sabihan kita ng dalawang beses?” Labador said.

“Nakaka abala ka na sa mga NEGOSYANTENG VENDORS natin diyan sa Quiapo. Kung hindi mo babayaran lahat ng damages at losses sa pag gamit mo ng lugar, umalis alis ka na diyan. Para sa PUBLIKO at MAMAYANG PILIPINO YAN!!! Ginawa mong pansarili mo lang? Hindi ka batang Quiapo, isa kang “anak ng tokwa”.

As of writing, Coco and his production time have yet to respond to the complaint of the vendors.

Meanwhile, some netizens defended the actor from Rendon, saying that the latter was only jealous because he was not invited to join the show, unlike other influencers who were already cast to be part of Batang Quiapo.

Public Attorney’s Office chief Persida Acosta couldn’t hide her emotions while explaining why they refused to provide lawyers to the fraternity members of Tau Gamma Phi who were being accused behind the demise of Adamson University’s chemical engineering junior John Matthew Salilig.

During a press conference, Acosta said that they’re not willing to give lawyers to the suspects because they’re already providing free legal support to the victim’s family and to the witnesses who were willing to give information about what happened during the initiation rites.

“Hindi namin sila tutulunga.. Conflict of interest.. Lumapit sila sa private lawyers. Ang lakas ng loob nilang mambugbog tapos ngayon lalapit sa PAO.” Acosta said. “Nauna ‘yung biktima eh, nauna rin ‘yung state witness. Bakit natin papayagan na mag-PAO vs. PAO? Conflict ‘yan. Humanap sila [ng abogado]. Gagawa kayo ng kriment, tapos gusto niyo ipagtanggol kayo [ng PAO].

Acosta even said that the suspects deserved serious charges, especially when they decided to hide the body of John Matthew instead of informing the authorities about what happened.

She PAO chief also said that she was also a mother, so she understood the sadness being felt by John Matthew’s family.

“Sino ang matutuwa diyan? Hindi na nga ako dati nagagalit pero nakakagalit yan. Nanay din ako.. Kaya yung iba inilalagay ‘yung batas sa kanilang kamay eh.” she said.

Meanwhile, Acosta also praised PNP Imus for being fast in solving the case of John Matthew. At the same time, she criticized PNP Cebu for spending several months already without solving another case similar to the Adamson student.

She also criticized the initiation rituals being held by some fraternities in the country.

Eat Bulaga, the longest noontime variety show in the Philippines, was already being watched by Filipinos for almost 44 years.

However, the said show was reportedly facing a big challenge that might become the reason for the Dabarkads to be disbanded.

Veteran columnist Cristy Fermin revealed that there was an internal conflict between the executives of Eat Bulaga and its founding producer Tony Tuviera was rumored to have been pushed to resign from the show. 

“Mayroon pong internal na problema na nagaganap sa programang ito. Hindi po kami magbabanggit ng mga pangalan pero meron po talaga. Hindi naman kasi isang tao lang po ang nagpapatakbo o nagmamando ng Eat Bulaga. Ito po ay isang korporasyon, marami po sila dito,” Cristy said.

“Ang balita, merong isa na mahal na mahal natin, isang ehekutibo na gustong tanggalin si Paeng sa pamamahala ng programa,” she added.

Fermin claimed that because Tuviera received support from the Eat Bulaga hosts and some of them vowed to resign together with the producer if ever that the other show officials successfully removed the latter.

It was reported that even Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon, the iconic trio of Eat Bulaga, would leave if ever Tuviera got removed.

“Matinding gulo sa Eat Bulaga.. Yun pong mga existing hosts ng programing Ito kapag tinanggal ang ehekutibo na ito sasama sila lahat sa tao na ‘yun.. Paano ngayon? Ano ang magaganap ngayon?” Fermin stated.

As of writing, Tuviera has yet to confirm the reports that was first released by several showbiz reporters.

Vin Abrenica shared how he interacted with his sister-in-law Kylie Padilla during their tapings for the GMA series “Mga Lihim ni Urduja.”

Ibinahagi ni netizen @Justice4Bros, isang nagpakilalang abogado ang ilang impormasyon tungkol sa lalaki na gumagamit diumano ng mga online dating apps upang makapambiktima ng mga miyembro ng LGBTQIA+ community.

Itinago na lamang ng netizen sa pangalang “Josh” ang suspek at sinabi ng netizen na isa siya sa mga abogado ng biktima nito.

“PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS PERSON! “JOSH” NICKNAME NYA SA GRINDR AND OTHER APPS. WE ARE POSTING THIS EVERY MONTH IN HOPES THAT WE WILL BE ABLE TO TRACK AND STOP THIS PERSON. THE PHOTOS ARE WHAT HE USED TO SEND TO HIS VICTIMS IN SOCIAL MEDIA.” sabi ng abogado.

Mahigpit na ipinagbabawal sa batas ang panghahawa ng HIV kung alam ng akusado na mayroon siyang karamdaman.

Hindi naman basta basta maaring mapatunayan kung talaga bang sinadya nga bang manghawa ng akusado kaya’t mas mainam parin na maging maingat sa mga makikilala lalo na sa mga online dating apps.
