Actor Paolo Contis quickly gave his reaction after his former partner, LJ Reyes announced her engagement with non-showbiz boyfriend Philip Evangelista.
In an interview with GMA News reporter Nelson Canlas, Paolo said that he was happy with his former partner whom he separated from last year.
“Of course, I’m very happy for her. She deserves to be happy,” Paolo said.
It can be remembered that Paolo has been swarmed by comments from netizens who informed him about LJ.
“May lalaki nanaman [na] matino na sasalo sa pagka tatay mo.. may babae na naman masasalba sa sakit na dinulot mo,” netizen Bellas told Paolo.
Paolo in a past interview wanted to see her child with LJ, but the actor said that he was required to talk to the lawyer of his former partner.
“I’m waiting for the right time, I’m waiting for the go signal. I’m trying to contact them through her lawyer,” Paolo said.
It was speculated that the reason behind the separation between the two was because of actress Yen Santos who’s currently the girlfriend of Paolo.
Moira dela Torre’s mother came to defend her daughter from the accusations from composer Lolito Go.
In a Facebook comment, Raquel dela Torre already made some revelations against Lolito that possibly a hint at why the composer suddenly made posts against the singer.
According to Mrs. Dela Torre, Lolito was the one insisting on Moira becoming her ghostwriter.
She also claimed that Lolito was always borrowing money from Moira.
“This breaks my heart because you know that my daughter WAS JUST BEING NICE. Ikaw ang kumukulit sa GHOSTWRITER na yan. I-release mo lahat ng screenshots. I challenge you. Are we sure it’s not edited? Because you have been borrowing MONEY from her. Lagi ka nangungutang sa kanya. And the fact remains, MY DAUGHTER never hired a GHOSTWRITER. You are borrowing money, and you are insisting na mag GHOSTWRITER ka. We have the truth. Maawain lang anak ko,” she said.
Lolito then made a lengthy reply to Mrs. Dela Torre, admitting that he’s borrowing money from her daughter, but not being granted.
However, Lolito said that he was forced to borrow from Moira because he didn’t gain any royalties from the song he allegedly ghostwritten for the singer.
He also said that he suggested just becoming a ghostwriter because he’s not taking any credit from Moira’s song.
“It breaks my heart na kailangan ko pa humiram sa kanya. Multiple times. Multiple times ding denied. Thjere was only one instance na nagrant nya. When I was about to pay, she insisted na wag ko na bayaran. Tita Raquel, hindi niya po ako nabayaran sa song na Pahinga. She used that song sa Braver tour. Pati sa concerts abroad. Malaki kinita ng Patawad Album. Pero wala man lang binigay sa akin kahit yung tinatawag na mechanical royalty.” Lolito said.
“Tapos co-composer na sya ng song just by tweaking a few lines. Kung gusto nya ako magshine or kung gusto nya ako tulungan, she could have given me proper credits,” he added.
The composer said that he was ready to bring the issue to the court.
“Kahit umabot pa tayo sa demandahan, mapaninindigan ko ang laban na to.” he stated.
Lolito also released some screen capture of his alleged conversation with Moira to prove that he’s telling the truth.
The number of public school teachers becoming an influencer on social media is increasing.
Aside from fame, teachers who were recording short videos during work time gave them extra income.
However, some teachers already gained the irk of the netizens and called them ‘unprofessional’ for allegedly prioritizing posting videos over their job as an educator.
A teacher working at the Department of Education (DepEd) received criticism on social media after posting a video of his student and praising her beauty.
Teacher Reymar Caburnay who has 10.9k followers on TikTok was known for posting dance videos and posting moments with his students.
In the said video, it can be seen that Caburnay recorded one of his students and called her ‘pretty’.

The video received millions of views on social media and received criticisms from netizens urging DepEd to suspend the license of Caburnay for being unprofessional.
“Seriously?? Noong HS nga ako, na rumor lang na may something sa Math teacher & classmate ko, na terminate agad yung teacher,” netizen woyce said.
“Why is this video still up and why DepEd is not yet investigating this?? hello deped????” netizen Mikelle commented.
However, Caburnay explained that he’s not attracted to his student because he’s gay.
“Akala niyo lang yan po. Wala naman kaming malisya dahil BAKLA po ako,” Reymar said.
As of writing, the DepEd has yet to give any statement about the video made by Caburnay.
Currently, DepEd has no memo forbidding their workers to become influencers or take videos during working hours.
Influencer Xander Ford made another update about the P349,000 pesos pledge he was asking to be fulfilled by the Godfather of his son Xeres.
In a Facebook video, Xander said that Christian Merck Grey has yet to fulfill his alleged promise of shouldering all the expenses for the baptism of the controversial influencer’s son that happened on May 4.
Because of his desire to get the money, Xander already asked Sen. Raffy Tulfo to help him.
“Wala parin si Christian Merck Grey, hindi parin siya nagbabayad gustong gusto ng lumapit kay Sir Idol Raffy Tulfo sana tulungan akong mabayaran ni Christian Merck Grey kasi sobrang nakaka-stress na,” Xander said.
He’s also planning to file legal charges against Christian.
“Balak ko rin maghanap ng lawyer, sana matulungan niyo po kami. Ito na ‘yung last chance na ibibigay ko sa kanya,” he also said.
It can be recalled that Xander claimed that Christian would give him P349,000 as part of his promise and the influencer expected that the latter would fulfill his pledge so he asked for some loans to fund the celebration.
However, Christian denied the accusations, saying that he never promised anything to Xander and he was only joking when he asked the latter about shouldering the expenses of the baptism.

Moira dela Torre finally made a statement on the accusations made by composer Lolito Go against her.
In her official statement that she posted on her social media pages, Moira said that she was disheartened by the post made by Lolito who accused her of hiring ghostwriters and having a relationship with another man.
Moira said that she’s ready to provide ‘evidence’ to prove that Go’s accusations were untrue.
“I want to set things straight once and for all. Let me be clear: I have never employed a ghostwriter. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate enough to collaborate with immensely talented artists who treat each other with respect and acknowledge the contributions we all bring to the table.” she said.
“Every song I have created is a true reflection of my deepest emotions and experiences. I am fully prepared to provide evidence that supports this truth, including screenshots of conversations and recordings of my songs, which undoubtedly validate and disprove the harmful accusations made against me.
“I did not cheat on Jason. It is unfair that I find myself in a position where I have to defend my name and even explain why I did not deserve to be cheated on,” she added.
It can be recalled that Go hinted at a relationship between Moira and Zack Tabudlo that already has been discussed since last year.

An artist couldn’t hide his sadness after a teacher reportedly destroyed the painting he had created for two months.
In a Facebook post, Edmar Casinillo shared his conversation with the teacher who asked him to paint their family photo.
After two months of creating the painting, Edmar delivered the art to the teacher.
However, the teacher refused to pay, saying she had no money.
The teacher even claimed that she already destroyed the painting because they’re not satisfied with the work made by Edmar.
“Di ko maidisplay nakakahiya akala ko nga wala na e dahil sa inis ko un sinunog ko,” the teacher said.
Edmar couldn’t hide her sadness from her followers on social media.
“Ansakit lang na sinunog yung 14heads oil paint ko, sana binalik niyo nalang po ma’am kung di niyo po nagustuhan,” Edmar said.

Veteran columnist and talent manager Lolit Solis claimed that the planned ‘world tour’ of Willie Revillame that was supposed to happen after his exit from AllTV has been canceled.
In her IG post, Lolit said that the reason why Willie canceled the said project with Viva was because of the commission being taken to the controversial television host.
Lolit questioned the decision of Revillame, saying that the host should be rich enough not to mind the talent fee he was receiving.
