Eat Bulaga host Wally Bayola went viral on social media because of a past episode of ‘Juan for All, All for Juan’.
In the said episode, it can be seen that Wally’s co-host, Jose Manalo interviewed a foreign national who expressed interest to become popular in the Philippines.
“You want to be famous here in the Philippines?” Jose asked the foreign national who was a live audience of Eat Bulaga during the episode.
“Yes,” the woman said.
Jose then turned to Wally and asked the latter to make the foreigner famous.
“Wally gusto raw maging famous,” Jose told Wally.
The joke gained laugh from other Eat Bulaga hosts and audience.
“Hayaan mo siya,” Wally said while trying to stop himself from laughing.
Many netizens understood the joke of Jose and remembered that possibly connected to the biggest controversy faced by Wally.
It can be remembered that in 2013, Wally has been caught having a relationship with a former member of EB Babes Yosh Rivera after a recorded video of him circulated on social media.
Many people thought that the said issue would end Wally’s career, however because of the support from his family and colleagues, the comedian returned to Eat Bulaga after several months of break.
“Sa ‘Eat Bulaga,’ mga manonood, sorry po. Sorry po sa mga nagawa kong kasalanan. Sana bigyan niyo pa po ako ng isa pang pagkakataon para maayos ko ang buhay ko. Patawad po sa inyong lahat. Sorry po.” he said during his return to the show.
The decision of Eat Bulaga to allow Wally’s return was considered as a good decision because, after a year, the comedian became part of AlDub’s popularity as ‘Mommy Nidora’.
