Vice Ganda and Ion Perez made a controversial gesture during their concert at the Araneta Coliseum on June 2, 2023.
In the video uploaded by a fan, it can be seen Vice and Ion show their love to each other while showing their ‘dirty finger’ to the concertgoers.
Vice clarified that they made the said gesture for the people criticizing their relationship.
“Let’s not f***ing care…What you are, what I am and what we have is just so amazingly beautiful. So let’s not be bothered by their noise. Let them drown in their own voice. Let’s just continue to love so loud and proud,” Vice said.
“Whatever happens, wherever it takes, at the end of the day, love wins,” he added.
Fans couldn’t hide their ‘kilig’ over the scene made by the two.
However, some social media users criticized Ion and Vice.
“Wala na talagang moral ang mga tao ngayon…..hindi dapat ginagawa ang ganyan dahil may mga batang nanonood,” netizen Jem said.
“Ang kinasusuklaman ng Panginoon ay hindi na pinagsisikapang iwasan ng tao bagkus ipinapangalandakan na at sinasadya ng labagin ng walang pagaatubili sa puso para lamang masunod ang pansariling kaligayahan. Di na sila nakokonsensiya. Nakakalungkot.” netizen Ricardo commented.
It can be remembered that Vice and Ion were already planning to have a child soon.
