Motivational Speaker Rendon Labador couldn’t hide his dismay after losing more than a million pesos after failing to sell tickets for the opening of his sports bar.

In his Facebook post, Labador expressed his disappointment to the netizens, saying that he spent 1.2-M pesos for the event opening of Episode Bar and Kitchen in Clark Pampanga.

He also blamed the fans of Coco Martin for his epic fail event.

“Grabe napaka sakit nito. Pinag lalaban ko lang naman ang karapatan ng mga negosyante. Parang ako pa ‘yung naging masama. Ano nangyari sa Pilipinas.” Rendon wrote.

“No ticket sales today, mamaya na ang event ng @episodebarandkitchen kahit isa wala pang bumibili. Coco, fans wala sanang personalan. Pinaglalaban ko lang naman ang vendors.

“1.2 million ang ginastos ko para sa event ngayon. Tapos umaasa ako sa ticket sales. Till now NO SALES. Pati kitchen sa fine dining na hinanda namin worth almost 800k, mapapanis lang.

“Drinks namin puro highend worth 400k, masasayang lang din. Grabe, wala naman personalan Coco fans.” 

The post reached thousands of reactions from netizens.

It can be recalled that Rendon became controversial on social media after he criticized FPJ’s Batang Quiapo production team and its leading actor Coco.

Rendon repeatedly accused the show of giving inconvenience to the businesses along Quiapo.

However, some cast of Batang Quiapo revealed that they already addressed the issue and paying the vendors affected by their taping.

Rendon Labador made a short response to Coco Martin after the latter made a statement on the criticisms he was receiving from the popular motivational speaker.

In a Facebook post, Rendon said that Coco didn’t get his point, a sign that the actor has a low intellect.

“Hindi naintindihan ni Coco ang punto ko, antagal sumagot tapos sablay pa. Mahina talaga mag isip si Coco, pang scripted lang talaga,” he said.

It can be recalled that Coco said that he was not paying attention to his critics and he understood that he couldn’t evade criticism because of his popularity.

“Kapag hitik ang bunga, may babato at babato sa’yo,” Coco said. “Sakin kasi kung sino ‘yung nakakaunawa, sinasabi ko pagpasensyahan niyo nalang, unawain niyo nalang,” the FPJ’s Batang Quiapo leading star said.

“Ako naman sabi ko nga sa lahat ba ng blessing na dumadating siguro ‘yung ano nalang pagiging mabuting tao nalang ang binabalik ko kaysa sa patulan ko. Kasi mas marami tayong bagay na pwedeng pag-ukulan,” he added.

The issue between the two started when Rendon called out the actor, saying that he should leave Quiapo because some vendors were affected by their production.

However, Coco said that their production team was well coordinated with Manila City LGU, government agencies and businessmen in Quiapo.

A netizen went viral on social media after he was accused by his former partner of not sending financial support to their child.

In a Facebook post, Roniel Cruz defended himself from the criticisms he was receiving, claiming that the reason why they got separated was because his former partner, Veronica Magpayo cheated on him.

He posted several screenshots of the conversation between Magpayo and the man who allegedly became her boyfriend.

Despite his claims, Cruz admitted that he was the one who made a mistake first, but he said that he already received forgiveness from Magpayo.

“Halos gumuho mundo ko, halos mawala ako sa sarili at halos mapabayaan ko na ang lahat ng meron sa akin. Nung makita ko ito may kachat kang iba kahit nasa loob tayo ng bahay hindi ko alam kung paano mo ginagawa yun.” he said.

“Siguro kapag nag eextra ako siguro kapag gumagawa ako ng paraan para may pangkain tayo sa pang araw araw. Ginawa ko naman lahat para maging maayos ang pamilya na meron tayo pero ganito ang ginanti mo sa lahat ng paghihirap ko para sa atin.” he added.

Netizens feasted on a post of a single mother who accused her former partner of not sending any financial support to their child.

In a Facebook post, Veronica Magpayo called out her ex-boyfriend Roniel Adrian Cruz for allegedly not sending support to them.

“Wag nyo itolerate ung lalaki tumatakbo sa resposibilidad. Nasasabi nyo yan kasi wala kayo sa sitwasyon. Matutuwa kabang pa coolkid sa fb? Buhay binata? Luho ng jowa nabibigay? Sa anak kahit zesto wala,” Magpayo said.

However, Cruz denied the accusations from his former girlfriend, showing several ‘receipts’ to prove that he did his role as a father.

“Naging mabuti kang Ama. Ginawa mo lahat para sa pamilya na gusto mong makasama pang habang buhay pero ito ang nangyari sa loob ng ilang taon. Di ako perpektong tao pero pinasok ko lahat ng trabaho para sa pamilya na meron ako.” Cruz said.

Cruz claimed that he already missing his son Lexus, saying that he doesn’t have a chance to visit his child.

“Bilang ama nalulungkot at nasasaktan din ako na hindi ko nakikita ang anak ko. Ayoko sanang gawin ito kaso nasasaktan ako at nadadamay na ang anak ko dito dahil sa nangyayari sa atin. Ang gusto ko lang naman mangyari makita at makasama ko din ang aking anak.” he said.

He also showed proof that he was sending financial support to their child.

Cruz then accused his former partner of using the money he was sending to her current boyfriend.

“About sa SUSTENTO ito lahat. Kulang pa yang mga screeshot baka umabot na ng ilang libo yan kakahingi mo sa akin. San ba napupunta yang sustento na yan sa anak mo or sa inyo ng lalaki mo?” he said.

“Diba gusto kong mangyari ako maghahatid ng pagkain kay lexus mga groceries at ilabas siya para mabilhan ko ng gamit. Tulad nyan sa ginagawa mo sa akin gusto kong ilabas yung anak ko di ko magawa dahil ayaw mo ibigay sa akin. Tulad nung PASKO at BAGONG TAON pinadalhan ka ng pera kasi sabi mo ihahatid mo ang anak ko dito sa akin at sa pamilya ko.” he stated.

He even posted a photo of the construction of their house to prove that he was capable of supporting his family.

Comedienne Pokwang expressed her gratefulness to a flight attendant working for Philippine Airlines.

In her tweet, the comedienne narrated her experience with the said flight attendant, saying that she received a hug from her and gave her encouraging words.

“Share ko lang, this madam FA from @flyPAL nilapitan ako sa aking upuan habang nasa kalagitnaan ng flight to SanFran niyakap ako at sinabing, laban lang mahal ka namin at naniniwala kami sa katatagan mo bilang ina, nanay din ako kaya ramdam kita, hay naiyak ako eh,” Pokwang said.

Philippine Airlines’ social media page responded to Pokwang’s story.

“We care for you, Marietta! Mothers are our strongest protectors of the household, at natutuwa kaming nakapag-iwan ng magandang impression ang aming SFO crew. We are your home in the sky. Stay strong!” PAL wrote.

It can be recalled that Pokwang revealed her problems with her former husband Lee O’Brian.

In her statement, Pokwang claimed that Lee didn’t support her emotionally and financially.

Despite the treatment she was receiving from the American actor, Pokwang said that she hoped for them to reconcile.

However, her hopes has been shattered when she discovered that Lee was already dating another woman.

Pokwang said that she’s now working to remove the surname of Lee from their child Malia O’Brian.

She’s also not planning to allow Lee to visit their daughter.

A single mom called out her former partner publicly and accused him of not giving any support to their child.

In a Facebook post, Veronica Magpayo posted a black and white photo of her former partner identified as Roniel Adrian Cruz.

Magpayo clarified that Cruz didn’t pass away and she only posted it to remind the netizens not to be like her ex.

“Unahan kona kayo di ako bitter karapatan lang ng anak ko dahil matagal akong nanahimik, “anak mo naman yan bat dikanalang mag work para dika mukang kawawa” na provide ko lahat sa anak ko.” Magpayo said.

“Wag nyo itolerate ung lalaki tumatakbo sa resposibilidad. Nasasabi nyo yan kasi wala kayo sa sitwasyon. Matutuwa kabang pa coolkid sa fb? Buhay binata? Luho ng jowa nabibigay? Sa anak kahit zesto wala,” she added.

According to the law, the father of a child should support their children or else they would face charges.

The Article 195 of the Family Code stresses that parents are legally required to support their children.

Even former Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Sec. Erwin Tulfo already warned the parents not supporting their child.

“Pwede po kayong lumapit sa amin sa DSWD, kung may mga tatay na ayaw magsustento sa mga anak nila, provided na yung tatay ay may trabaho o may kinikita.  Susulatan po namin, magdedemand kami na sustentuhan niya yung anak niya.  Otherwise, ipapasa po namin ito sa korte, bahala na po ang Public Attorney’s Office (PAO). Tutulungan din po natin na ilapit sa IBP para magsampa ng kaso,” Tulfo said.

Former professional basketball player and actor Raul Dillo, popularly known as ‘Pinoy Frankenstein’ shared more details about the offer he received from ABS-CBN’s top-rated show ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ and its leading actor Coco Martin.

In an interview with content creator ROBATOLOGY, Dillo said that he received a call from a staff of Batang Quiapo informing him that the actor was already aware of his appeal.

According to him, the production team of Batang Quiapo was already planning his possible role in the show.

“Sabi nila ay pinaplantsa lamang po ang role ninyo,” Dillo said.

“Inaabangan ko nalang po at inaantay ‘yung kanilang confirmation,” he added.

It can be recalled that the appeal Dillo to the actor received millions of views online.

The 7’3 actor said that he lost his source of income so he wanted to return to showbusiness to support his family.

Former action star John Regala became one of the most popular actors on social media because of his sad story after his retirement.

It can be recalled that Regala faced financial and health problems after his retirement and he went viral several times because some netizens saw his current condition.

Some celebrities also extended their help to the former actor but the assistance stopped because of Regala’s attitude.

Despite his condition, Regala still wanted to return to showbusiness because he believed that despite his health problems, his acting skills didn’t fade.

In a report by Pep.ph, the action star asked television networks to give him a job.

“Pakiusap ko lang po sana sa mga television network, bigyan niyo naman ako ng trabaho. Kaya ko pa naman [umarte] dahil ito ang makapagpapasaya sa akin. Maraming salamat po.” said Regala.

He also shared that some people are still helping him, however, he still wanted to return to acting because it was his passion.

“Ang pag-arte sa mga pelikula at teleserye ang mga bagay na inaasam-asam na muling maranasan ang hiling ko lang.” he said.

The last role played by Regala was in 2016 when he became part of ABS-CBN’s show ‘Ang Probinsiyano”.

Dahil sa isyu na kinakaharap ngayon ni House Deputy Speaker Arnie Teves ay hindi maiwasan ng mga netizens na balikan ang kontrobersiya na kinaharap ng anak nito na si dating Board Member Kurt Teves.

Nangyari ang insidente noong Marso 16, 2022 kung saan ay makikita si Kurt kasama ang kanyang mga staff habang pinagtutulungan ang isang security guard na humarang sa kanila sa isang exclusive subdivision sa Paranaque City.

Maririnig din ang paghahamon ng anak ng kongresista sa security guard na wala namang magawa dahil sa armado ang grupo ni Kurt.

“S-ntukan tayo? B-rilan tayo? ‘Di ka dapat ganu’n magsalita, dapat guwardya ka eh. Ano gusto mo nga, magb-rilan tayo? May b-ril ka diyan.” hamon ni Kurt sa security guard.

Banat By slams Immigration officials for offloading Filipinos: “Sa pagkakaalam ko ang Pilipinas ay demokratikong bansa”

Talent manager and Vlogger Byron Cristobal, popularly known as ‘Banat By’ criticized the officials of the Bureau of Immigration for being too strict with traveling Filipinos.

In his social media post, Cristobal reminded the immigration officials that the Philippines is a democratic country and its citizen has the right to travel.

“Sa huling pagkakaalam ko ang Pilipinas ay demokratikong bansa at hindi tulad ng NORTH KOREA. Eh bakit ba pinipigilan ng IMMIGRATION na mamasyal ang mga Pilipino.” said Cristobal.

“Ngayon kung iniisip nyo yang HUMAN TRAFFICKING kuno nyo hindi na nyo problema yan. Hulihin nyo yung mga agency hindi yung mga walang kinalamang Pilipino.

“Kung mag TNT o may gagawing illegal ang mga Pilipino sa ibang bansa wala na sa jurisdiction nyo yan. Hayaan nyo yung bansa na yun ang humuli at parusahan mga Pinoy na gagawa ng kat*rant*duhan.”

It can be recalled that immigration officials were in hot water because of some reports of travelers who were offloaded because of alleged unnecessary questions being asked of them before allowing them to travel.

Freelance writer Cham Tateras, one of the passengers who claimed to experience convenience because of an immigration official said that the one interviewed her was asking for her yearbook to prove her story.

Because of the said immigration official, Tateras missed her flight to Israel and was even required to buy another ticket.

The said official has now transferred to another office and insisted that he didn’t ask for a yearbook from Tateras.
