A Miss Grand Philippines 2023 contestant was reportedly missing after going out with her car on October 12, 2023.

The missing woman was identified as Catherine Camilon, 26, a Batangas resident and a public school teacher.

According to her relatives, the beauty pageant contestant was known for constantly updating her family about her condition, but they started to get worried after Catherine suddenly stopped communicating with them after she left their house last Thursday.

Chin-Chin Camilon, the sister, said that until now, they couldn’t contact Catherine, who was driving her SUV when she left their house.

“Sana makabalik ka na sa atin, madami nag aalala sayo kung nasaan ka. Halos dalawang araw ka ng walang update sa amin, wala namang alis na wala kang update, sana okay ka lang kung nasan ka man. Mahal na mahal ka namin,” said Chin-Chin.

They also urged the workmates of Catherine to give them an update about the possible whereabouts of the missing beauty pageant contestant.

“Pasabi naman po baka alam niyo po kung nasaan siya, kagabi pa po siya tumawag 8 pm, kaninang umaga pa po naka off ang phone nya, hanggang ngayon at hindi din po nag oonline, palagi po sya nag aupdate sa amin, ngayon lang po talaga hindi,” she said.

Meanwhile, the mother of Catherine also appealed to the public to help them find clues about the current state of her daughter.

Mickey Ablan couldn’t hide his regrets over what happened to his daughter Yzabel Ablan, who recently passed away due to a lung condition.

Mickey Ablan shared one of the last messages of his daughter, Yzabel Ablan, who passed on October 7, 2023, after years of battling several health conditions.

In his Facebook post on October 14, 2023, Mickey shared a conversation between Yzabel and someone she called ‘Kuya,’ showing that his daughter was already complaining about her breathing.

According to Yza, she was already preparing herself for the worst-case scenario because of her condition.

“Hindi na talaga ako makahinga and I really felt na wala na like end na pero one thing I did I asked the Lord am I done?” said Yza.

“Life is really short noh. I mean when I was at that moment not being able to breathe I was scared but ready at the same time,” she also said.

It can be recalled that Pepito Manaloto star Janna Dominguez, the mother of Yzabel, said that they were not aware of the condition of her daughter.

Janna said that Yzabel was known for being secretive with her condition and they thought that she was already okay.

“She was at her condo in Manila when she suddenly had difficulty breathing. Kasama niya Yaya Ate Lyn niya that time. Ate Lyn called us kaya dumiretcho na kami agad ng Manila. Pero wala, after multiple attempts to revive her, wala na talaga. God called her back home na,” Janna wrote.
