Roderick Paulate admitted that there was a time that he thought of pursuing his now BFF Carmi Martin.

In an interview with Boy Abunda, they asked the actor and politician if he ever fell in love with his friend.

According to Roderick, while the possibility of courting Carmi slipped into his mind, he decided not to pursue it it.

“Kasi nung panahon namin nakita ko ‘yung nakaaligid, mga mestiso eh. Ako naman magaling naman makiramdam. Parang sa nakita ko parang hindi ata ako puwede pumasok diyan. Realistic. Alam ko naman kung saan ako pupwesto,” he said.

It can be recalled that Carmi and Roderick hosted a variety show, which made them closer.

Roderick also said that his priority during that time was his career.

“But okay lang. Kaya lang hindi lang siguro panahon pa—’yong panahong ‘yon, ha—especially, humility aside, nasa peak tayo ng career. Parang hindi ako naka-focus doon. Mas naka-focus sa ako career at pamilya,” he stated.

As a close friend, Carmi was one of the individuals who supported Roderick when he was convicted of graft.

She also shared Roderick’s short statement following the decision.

‘I believe in prayers,’ Martin quoted Paulate’s message to her.

Kim Atienza’s 16-year-old daughter, Emmanuelle Atienza received various comments on social media for posting revealing photos on social media.

In her Instagram, Emmanuelle, who’s also working as a model, posted some of the comments she received from the netizens.

Some netizens even questioned why Kuya Kim allowed his daughter to wear revealing outfits.

“As a father how do you allow you[r] daughter to post such revealing photos [?]. Shame on you,” one netizen said.

Emmanuelle made a short reaction to the comments.

Emmanuel was also featured on several news websites several years ago after she disclosed that she was diagnosed with a mental health condition called ‘anorexia nervosa’ which gave her urges not to eat properly to lessen her weight.

“After properly dieting and losing an increasingly high amount of weight, I became obsessive over my calories. I would sometimes eat much less than a healthy body needs to survive. it become so obsessive that others became concerned about my own health and my daily functioning was at stake,” she stated.

The said condition was common with models who were required to control their weight.

Actress Karla Estrada expressed her support for her son Daniel Padilla who was nominated as the ‘Philippine Hottest Man of the Year’ by Voter’s Choice Awards.

Katrina Halili was mourning the passing of her partner former Wao, Lanao del Sur, Vice Mayor Jeremy Guiab.

The actress confirmed the news on her Instagram post dedicated to Jeremy.

According to several reports, Jeremy faced a severe heart problem during his stay at Katrina’s house in Quezon City.

He was rushed to St. Luke’s Medical Center, but doctors failed to save him.

The cause of Jeremy’s passing was confirmed by his close friend, Quezon City Councilor Don de Leon.

“Together with his family, we ask for prayers, for his soul’s eternal rest with our Lord. A precious life gone too soon. Wake details to follow,” he stated.

In a past interview, Katrina said that Jeremy treated Katie like his own daughter.

“Yung boyfriend ko yung mas nagga-guide sa akin para alagaan yung anak ko. Siya yung mas nagtuturo sa akin kasi stubborn ako, di ba? Stubborn din ‘yung anak ko so medyo mahirap kaming dalawa. Minsan, nawawala ako ng pasensiya, siya yung mas kalmado. Tinutulungan niya ako talaga,” she said.
