Netizens questioned the intention of Eat Bulaga host Cassy Legaspi in her recent content published on her social media pages.

In her post, Cassy can be seen twerking and then suddenly, presented the bible to her fans online.

Several netizens speculated that Cassy made the said content to gain attention and promote the bible, however, some of them believed that the host’s gesture was disrespectful towards the holy book.

“Anong connect Ng bible sa content mopo? Please respect it.. the Bible is Holy po and we should use it in the right way. I’m not a basher or a fan, pero bible po Yan eh, and it is written all the scripture is Inspired by God. kung Ang nais nyo pong iparating sa public through this content na magbasa ng bible,or you have a bible, I content mopo Ng maayos sana. God bless,” a netizen said.

“Kaya pala ayaw ko sa kanya. Eto pala talaga yon. Shallow,” another netizen remarked.

As of writing, Cassy has yet to give her response to the criticisms she received from the netizens.

Veteran showbiz reporter and columnist, Jobert Sucaldito defended Vhong Navarro’s son, Yce who just recently joined the FPJ’s Batang Quiapo cast.

In his online program, “Oras ng Opinyon, Talakayan, at Diskusyo,” Jobert said that many netizens quickly judged Yce just because of his appearance on the poster published by Batang Quiapo.

While he cannot be compared to good-looking artists, like Gabby Concepcion, Jobert believed that Yce had his handsomeness.

Jobert also reminded the netizens that Vhong didn’t become famous due to his appearance.

“Nilalait nila yung bata, nilait nila yung mukha ni Yce, kamukha daw ni Vhong, hindi mukhang artista. Pero my god, tignan nyo naman yung mukha ng bata, infairness naman sa kanya. Street Boys is a boy-dancing group that became popular in the 90s.

The columnist also said that Yce waited for a long time to become an artist.

Pura Luka Vega was put under custody again by the authorities several days after she just posted a bail for a case previously filed against her.

On February 29, 2024, Pura received another warrant from the members of QCPD, which related to a complaint filed by three groups connected to the Philippines for Jesus Movement.

“This stemmed from a complaint filed against them by three churches affiliated with the Philippines for Jesus Movement,”  Drag Den Philippines director Rod Singh said.

“The recommended bail is 360,000 pesos,” he added.

Supporters of Pura recognized the financial challenges being faced by the drag artist since he also posted bail worth P720,000 just three days ago for charges filed by the Kapisanan ng mga Social Media Brodkaster ng Pilipinas.

Kathryn Bernardo indirectly told all the fans of KathNiel that her door to a reconciliation between her and Daniel Padilla had already been shut.

In an interview with MEGA Magazine, Kathryn shared her healing journey after ending her 11-year relationship.

Kathryn said that she remained professional despite the challenges she faced.

“I always make sure that when it comes to my work, nothing is affected,” said Kathryn. “I didn’t want people to see me as a victim or to feel bad for me because it happened. So, for me, the best way to cope up was, first, I needed to heal and to look at the bright side.”

She also shared that while she knew how to forgive, it didn’t mean that she would allow someone to return to her life.

“Ang lalim kasi ng word na forgiveness. For me, you can forgive people who deserve it. But when I forgive you, it doesn’t mean that I have to keep you in my life. I forgive you for my peace of mind, for clarity, and for everything,” she said.

Actor Tom Rodriguez admitted that he was ready to love again after his controversial breakup with his wife, Carla Abellana, in 2022.

In an interview with Nelson Canlas, Tom shared his realizations in life.

“Mas simple lahat ng bagay. Actress Sarah Lahbati revealed her current status with her partner Richard Guttierez.

In an interview with MJ Marfori, Sarah talked about the ‘co-parenting setup’ between her and Richard without confirming the rumors about their separation.
