Jaclyn Jose’s interview with Ogie Diaz went viral on social media after her passing due to myocardial infarction.

It was reported that she passed away alone in her house in Quezon City and her state was only discovered when she stopped responding to messages.

It can be recalled that in 2022, Jaclyn admitted that she didn’t like to live alone, but she had no choice as her children had priorities already.

“Masakit at malungkot, kaso wala akong choice kasi ayokong pigilan yung mga anak ko sa gusto nilang gawin,” she said.

Jaclyn’s eldest, Andi Eigenmann was currently living in Siargao while her youngest son, Gwen Guck was living in the United States.

According to her, she respected her children’s decision to be away from her.

“Kung ano man yung gusto nilang tahakin, gusto ko silang hayaan. Kasi I want them to enjoy life, kasi life is short, it may sound cliche pero ayun ang gusto ko for them,” she stated.

She also gave her thoughts on the decision of Andi to live in Siargao.

“Nung nagdecide si Andi na lumipat sa Siargao, hindi ako nagdalawang isip at hindi ko siya pinigilan. Si Andi ay buo siya magdesisyon, hinahayaan ko siya kahit sa career niya,” she stated.

“Naintindihan ko (Andi), kasi ako nga eh, napapagod, ayoko naman yung anak ko ganun din. Pero si Andi hindi naman magrereklamo, mabilis siya magtrabaho kasi gusto niya matapos lahat. Hindi sa pagmamalaki magaling si Andi,” she added.

One of the visions of the popular fortune teller Rudy Baldwin went viral amid the news about Jaclyn Jose’s passing.

On February 26, several days before Jaclyn’s passing, Rudy shared her ‘vision’ about a certain veteran celebrity who was still active on television.

Several netizens couldn’t stop themselves from connecting Rudy’s vision to Jaclyn’s fate.

After her vision went viral, Rudy released a statement, saying her visions were only limited.

She also said that if she only knew that Jaclyn was the actress in her vision, she would quickly try to save her.

Actress Andi Eigenmann confirmed the passing of her award-winning mother, Jaclyn Jose.

During a press conference on March 3, 2024, Andi said that her mother passed away due to myocardial infarction.

“It is with great sadness that I announce the untimely passing of my nanay, Mary Jane Guck, better known as Jaclyn Jose. At the age of 60, on the morning of March 2nd, 2024, due to myocardial infarction or heart attack,” she said.

“We just like to say that her undeniable legacy will definitely forever live on through her work, through her children, godchildren, and the many lives she’s touched. As she herself, her life itself was her greatest obra maestra,” she added.

Jaclyn was considered one of the greatest artists of her time, winning several awards, including the Cannes Best Actress Award.

It can be recalled that her state was discovered when she suddenly didn’t respond to the messages she received from her colleagues, a sign that she passed away alone.

American producer Benny Blanco received criticism on social media after he made a video trying several products of a famous Filipino fast-food chain.

In his post, Blanco, who’s the boyfriend of international popstar Selena Gomez, was seen trying fried chicken, french fries, and several drinks being offered by the said fast-food chain, which also has branches in the United States.

He also tried dipping the chicken in the drink, which was not really the right way how to eat it.

However, more netizens became disappointed after Blanco decided to try the famous Filipino-style spaghetti of the said fast-food restaurant and split it.

It can be recalled that Filipino-style spaghetti was very different from the traditional spaghetti.

Netizens couldn’t hide their disappointment towards Blanco and accused him of disrespecting the Filipino culture.

“No one is forcing you/him to like jollibee. That mad disrespect on food is just evil,” netizen AltGMA said.

However, several netizens also defended Blanco, saying that the producer only disliked Filipino-style spaghetti.

“Medyo oa tayo dito na part. He seems to enjoy naman except sa spaghetti which is very expected kasi iba nakasanayan nilang spaghetti. Don’t be so snowflake. Wrong lang talaga yung pag spit mismo sa spag pero that’s him. Wala na tayong magagawa dun,” netizen Halimuyak wrote.

‘Tahanan Pinakamasaya’ reportedly bid farewell to its viewers last Saturday, amid the reports that its producer, Television and Production Exponents (TAPE) Inc. was facing financial difficulties.

According to the report published by the Philippine Entertainment Portal, TAPE was required to pay the GMA Network, almost P800-M.

They added that the said amount has been accumulated for many years, even during the time of its former hosts, Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon.

However, several fans believed that Tahanang Pinakasaya was in good financial standing due to the load of their commercial even during the rumored last day of the show.

Meanwhile, an insider from TAPE Inc. said that the company was paying a big amount of money to let their show air on GMA Network.

“Ang laki rin kasi ng gastos ng TAPE, Inc. kaya nagdesisyon na sila na tapusin na ang “Tahanang Pinakamasaya. Mutual decision ‘yon, ha! Hindi tsinugi ng GMA-7 ang noontime show ng TAPE, Inc. at malinaw naman ‘yon,” the insider told the reporters of Abante.

The insider also added that the hosts wanted to do their job until the last day of the show on March 8.

As of writing, TAPE Inc. has yet to give any official statement to respond to the rumors.

Television host Willie Revillame was being pushed by some netizens to return to television amid rumors of the possible closure of the noontime show ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’

It can be recalled, that there were rumors that ‘Tahanang Pinakasaya’ would stop producing new episodes starting next week due to unknown reasons.

The rumors were also amplified after several hosts of Tahanang Pinakasaya became emotional before ending their Saturday episode on March 2.

PEP also mentioned the possible obligations of TAPE Inc. with GMA-7 worth P800-M.

Some reports also indicated that starting March 4, the show would only air replayed episodes until its official end on March 8.

Several netizens believed that what happened on the Kapuso noontime show was a rare opportunity for Willie to return as a host.

On July 2023, Willie reportedly met with TAPE Inc. officials to discuss the possibility of noontime slot sharing.

There were also some reports last year that Willie was being considered to replace TAPE’s noontime show.

However, netizens were still waiting for the official statement from GMA Network and TAPE Inc. to know their next steps.

Netizens noticed that the Kapuso noontime show ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya,’ formerly Eat Bulaga, was already gone on Facebook.

Some fans waiting for the live stream of the noontime show on Facebook noticed that TAPE Inc’s page was already removed from the said social media platform for unknown reasons.

The speculations were also amplified when the show’s hosts, Isko Moreno, Paolo Contis, Buboy Villar, Cassy Legaspi, and others became emotional at the end of their Saturday episode.

Meanwhile, TAPE Inc’s lawyer, Atty. Maggie Abraham-Garduque said that they would release a joint statement on March 4.

It can be recalled that TAPE Inc. lost its trademark case filed by Eat Bulaga hosts, Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon.

Joey argued that he was the one who invented the Eat Bulaga title.

TVJ left Eat Bulaga due to their problems with TAPE Inc. and now producing their own show on TV5.

They’re now using the Eat Bulaga title again after several months of court hearings.

Girl group 4th Impact received criticism on social media after they launched fundraising to buy a bigger place for their 200 dogs.
