According to the report published by the Manila Standard, Jaclyn was seen unconscious inside her house in Quezon City.

She played her last role as Chief Espinas on ABS-CBN drama ‘Batang Quiapo,’
The reason for Jaclyn’s passing has yet to be announced by her relatives.

Jaclyn received five Gawad Urian, two Luna Awards, a FAMAS award, and a nomination for the Asian Film Awards.
She also won the Best Actress award at the Cannes Film Festival for her role at Ma’Rosa.
