Ruffa Gutierrez warned her followers about the fake quote spreading on social media which involved her mother, Annabelle Rama.

The post was uploaded by the Facebook page, Showbiz Balita, known for posting fake statements from celebrities.

In the said posts, the creator of the page made Annabelle appear to admit that her son, Richard Gutierrez, and actress Barbie Imperial had a vacation together last Holy Week.

The other post was another fake quote about Annabelle criticizing Sarah Lahbati’s lunch with her friend in Hong Kong.

In her statement, Ruffa said there was peace between the two families right now and asked the netizens to stop spreading fake statements on social media.

“Things are peaceful at the moment. Let’s keep it that way,” she wrote.

Netizens urged Ruffa to make the people making fake quotes of her mother accountable.

“Dapat talaga mahuli yung nasa likod ng mga fake page nayan,” netizen Macky said.

It can be recalled that there was a rumored feud between Annabelle and Sarah, but the two didn’t mention each other directly.

The said posts were already deleted on Annabelle’s Facebook page.

Even the family of Sarah posted cryptic posts which some netizens speculated as the Lahbati family’s message against Annabelle.

Social media celebrity and businessman Deo Jarito Balbuena, also known as ‘Diwata’ shared his experience as he became part of Batang Quiapo.

In an interview with a vlogger, Diwata said he attended one of the tapings of the program led by action star Coco Martin.

“Yeah tapos na ang taping ko sa ‘Batang Quiapo,’ pero next taping, hindi ko pa alam kung kailan. Pero nag-taping na ako. So, waiting na lang kung kailan ipapalabas. Abangan n’yo ko dun,” he said.

According to him, he would play himself on the show and would also own a ‘Paresan’ business.

But he clarified that he was still the ‘Diwata’ people loved and vowed not to change despite his success.

He was featured on a news program in 2016 after being involved in a commotion and quickly became a meme due to his funny personality.

Comedian Pokwang shared her reaction to the deportation of her ex-partner, Lee O’Brian.

On April 11, Lee was deported by the Bureau of Immigration (BI) after his motion for reconsideration on the complaint filed by Pokwang was denied.

Last year, Pokwang asked the government to deport Lee as he worked in the country without proper documents.

In an interview with 24 Oras, Pokwang expressed relief after Lee – who reportedly dating another woman, finally left the Philippines.

“Meron tayong batas na sinusunod, syempre nagkaroon tayo ng paglabag sa batas so kailangan nating sundin kung ano [yung mga parusa],” said Pokwang. “Kasi tayo nga sa ibang bansa ‘yung mga OFW natin sumunod,” 

Pokwang said that despite the deportation order, she would still demand Lee to provide child support to their child, Malia.

“Kailangan ‘yon, bilang magulang kailangan nating suportahan… Hindi naman ginusto ng bata na isilang siya, so may responsibilidad po tayo sa mga anak natin lalo na sa ganyang edad,” she said.

“Bilang ama, responsibilidad niya rin ‘yon. Karapatan ng bata ‘yon,” she added.

Pokwang clarified that she was still willing to let Lee see Malia if her daughter asked her, despite the American actor being barred from visiting the Philippines due to his inclusion on the immigration blacklist.

As of writing, Lee has yet to give a statement on the order against him.

Pokwang posted a message amid the news that her partner, Lee O’Brian was finally deported by the Bureau of Immigration (BI).

In her Instagram story, Pokwang shared a post about the journey of a single mom after her well-publicized separation with Lee.

In the said post, her journey to have peace didn’t come easy.

“This peace I have now did not come peacefully,” Pokwang posts read. “It came from me being at rock bottom,”

On April 11, 2024, BI announced that Lee already took a flight to San Francisco last Monday and was already included on the immigration blacklist, which would bar him from reentering the country again.

Comedian Pokwang gained a major victory after her former partner, Lee O’Brian, was finally deported by the Bureau of Immigration (BI).

Lee took a flight to San Francisco on April 8, 2024, after BI cleared the American actor of any pending cases in the country.

Someone could be removed from the BI blacklist if they could present evidence that they already resolved the issues which led them to be deported.

The comedian revealed her separation from Lee after she discovered the latter dating another woman.

“Umaasa ako bilang isang ina na maaayos pa kami. Kahit ang sakit-sakit na sa akin, kailangan kong mag-sinungaling kasi umaasa ako na aayusin pa niya, magkaka-ayos pa kami.” she said.

Supporters of Lee criticized Pokwang’s move, saying that it would be harder for Malia to see her father again.

As of writing, Lee, who made very limited statements on the issue has yet to give an official statement on the deportation he faced.
