Whamos Cruz received criticism from netizens after he gave Diwata a gold bar, saying that the influencer could have helped other people who needed it.

In his vlog, Diwata showed the gift he received from Whamos and his wife, Antonette Gail — a gold bar with certification of authenticity.

Aside from the gold bar, Diwata also showed the laptop and phone he obtained from the influencer couple.

“Maraming salamat sa’yo Whamos dahil napakadaming regalo ang ibinigay mo sakin,” he said.

However, many netizens were irked by the decision of Whamos to help Diwata even if the social media sensation already received help from other content creators.

“Dapat si Lola ng nanlilimos ng Piso para sa Apo ang dapat bgyan ng tulong. Syempre c Diwata kabig nlng yan ng kabig,” netizen Pete said.

“It’s disappointing how some people are only noticed for clout when in reality, we should be helping those truly in need,” netizen Jeff remarked.

“The givers are just wanting publicity. Bakit need pa bigyan yan eh ang laki na ng kinikita nyan. Dpat yung mga needy tlaga bigyan ng tulong yung mga walang makain, walang travaho or walang bahay,” netizen Lani commented.

Last week, Diwata received a car and also a pre-fabricated house from a company and a content creator.

Senator Jinggoy Estrada and former agent Jonathan Morales had a heated exchange after they questioned each other’s credibility during the Senate hearing on the PDEA’s leaked documents.

Estrada questioned Morales’ credibility to testify as he was facing several charges in the past.

After Morales presented CCTV footage related to the PDEA leaked documents, Estrada questioned if the media presented by the agent was legitimate as he had a history of releasing alleged false statements.

“Mr. Chair, how can we be sure if the video that is going to be presented before the committee is totally unedited? Knowing this person has a lot of records,”

As a response, Morales compared himself to Estrada, saying that he was only facing charges while the lawmaker was already convicted.

“Your honor, ay parang hindi naman po maganda ‘yung sinasabi ni Senator Jinggoy Estrada patungkol sa’kin. Para namang ako talaga ang hinuhusgahan eh ako’y may kaso pa lang at hindi pa napapatunayan sa hukuman,” he stated.

“Hindi kagaya po ang ating butihing senador eh na-convict na po; ay ‘wag naman po ganun,” he added.

Estrada quickly made a response and asked Morales to mind his own business.

“Alam mo Mr. Morales huwag mo pakikialaman ‘yung kaso ko. Problema ko ‘yun. ‘Yung kaso mo ang ayusin mo, ha?” he stated.

To ease the tension, Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa who led the investigation asked Morales to respect Estrada as he was an elected senator.

Tama naman, diba? Convicted naman talaga si Jinggoy.

Some netizens who watched her entry made fun of her after noticing she didn’t shave her armpit.

On May 5, 2024, Marjorry asked the netizens to stop body shaming as it would only be normal for women to have armpit hair.

Her post received praise from the netizens who were saying that people should stop criticizing women with armpit hair.

“You Do Note Girl” became popular on social media in 2019 after her video trying to imitate some lines of ABS-CBN’s soap opera, “Kadenang Ginto” went viral.

Her name was a reference to one of the lines she delivered in the viral video.

Currently, she’s now working as an internet influencer while finishing her studies.

Internet sensation Deo Balbuena, better known as “Diwata,” was interviewed by one of the co-hosts of Ogie Diaz, Rommel Chika.

In his vlog, Rommel visited Diwata’s Pares Overload in Pasay City to personally experience the viral pares, which are being visited by thousands of customers every day.

He also didn’t waste the opportunity to talk to Diwata himself.

In the interview, Rommel asked Diwata if boys were trying to court him due to his newfound success.

Megastar Sharon Cuneta received a Mother’s Day greeting from her oldest child, KC Concepcion, just days after she revealed her issue with her daughter.

It can be recalled that Sharon discussed her issues with KC, saying that it almost arrived to the point that she had already given up attempting to gain a connection with her child again.

Sharon described her current status with KC as “estranged,” which means they decided to part ways.

Model and actress Maggie Wilson wrote a lengthy letter to express her sadness on Mother’s Day. Two years after being separated from her partner, Victor Consunji, she has yet to see her son, Connor.

In an interview with Ogie Diaz, Mosang said that Judy Ann Santos, with whom she became a co-star in a soap opera on ABS-CBN’s “Esperanza,” helped her during the lowest point of her life.

Mosang recalled how Judy Ann shouldered all her expenses when she was hospitalized and even took care of her needs for at least two months as she couldn’t work while having a recovery.

According to her, she thought that Judy Ann would only contribute P30,000 to her hospitalization, but she was surprised when the actress also paid all her hospital bills and personally took care of her.

“Sinulat sa tseke, trenta ‘yung ibinigay. Pagkatapos ng taping niya pupunta sa hospital [at] aalagaan pa ako,” said Mosang. “Tapos binayaran niya ‘yung buong bill. Pinadala ‘yung card niya. [bilin niya] ‘Ipag-grocery mo si Mosang ng 2 months,”

“Sa mga showbiz friends siya ‘yung totoo,” she added.

Currently, Mosang is already financially stable and reportedly earning six-digit figures every month due to her food business.

Aside from her business, she was also part of GMA Network’s longest-running Saturday family sitcom ‘Pepito Manaloto.’

Officials almost put a man under their custody after receiving a complaint from internet sensation Deo Balbuena, a.k.a. Diwata.

According to a video posted by a vlogger covering Diwata’s Paresan, the man is shown being restrained by the authorities after he allegedly pretended to be one of the internet celebrity’s employees.

“Pumila to ‘to, nagulat ako kasi hindi ko siya kilala. Hindi ka nagpapa-pic, wala kang dalang phone… Tinanong kita kuya kung naka-duty ka,” Diwata told the man.

“Ngayon nung nahalata siya na kumukuha ng sahod, nakipila din, tinanong ko sa mga tao ko, tapos tinanong ko rin siya ‘sasahod ka rin ba?’ ang sagot mo oo,” he added.

Diwata insisted that the man was not there to see him but to attempt to get a salary despite not working for him.

He said that he was very vigilant about his establishment, as he received many reports of his customers’ missing items.

Ultimately, Diwata decided just to forgive the man and let him leave his establishment.

Karla Estrada gave her opinion on the current status of her son, Daniel Padilla, who was facing criticism after his breakup with Kathryn Bernardo.

In an interview with Bernadette Sembrano, Karla claimed that Daniel became a topic worldwide, and she believed that the recent issues affected him.

However, Karla said that Daniel was the only one who knew his state, and what she could only do was pray for her son.
