Comedian Maria Alilia Bagio, better known as ‘Mosang,’ shared one of the most unforgettable gestures made by a friend of hers.

In an interview with Ogie Diaz, Mosang said that Judy Ann Santos, with whom she became a co-star in a soap opera on ABS-CBN’s “Esperanza,” helped her during the lowest point of her life.

Mosang recalled how Judy Ann shouldered all her expenses when she was hospitalized and even took care of her needs for at least two months as she couldn’t work while having a recovery.

According to her, she thought that Judy Ann would only contribute P30,000 to her hospitalization, but she was surprised when the actress also paid all her hospital bills and personally took care of her.

“Sinulat sa tseke, trenta ‘yung ibinigay. Pagkatapos ng taping niya pupunta sa hospital [at] aalagaan pa ako,” said Mosang. “Tapos binayaran niya ‘yung buong bill. Pinadala ‘yung card niya. [bilin niya] ‘Ipag-grocery mo si Mosang ng 2 months,”

“Sa mga showbiz friends siya ‘yung totoo,” she added.

Currently, Mosang is already financially stable and reportedly earning six-digit figures every month due to her food business.

Aside from her business, she was also part of GMA Network’s longest-running Saturday family sitcom ‘Pepito Manaloto.’

Officials almost put a man under their custody after receiving a complaint from internet sensation Deo Balbuena, a.k.a. Diwata.

According to a video posted by a vlogger covering Diwata’s Paresan, the man is shown being restrained by the authorities after he allegedly pretended to be one of the internet celebrity’s employees.

“Pumila to ‘to, nagulat ako kasi hindi ko siya kilala. Hindi ka nagpapa-pic, wala kang dalang phone… Tinanong kita kuya kung naka-duty ka,” Diwata told the man.

“Ngayon nung nahalata siya na kumukuha ng sahod, nakipila din, tinanong ko sa mga tao ko, tapos tinanong ko rin siya ‘sasahod ka rin ba?’ ang sagot mo oo,” he added.

Diwata insisted that the man was not there to see him but to attempt to get a salary despite not working for him.

He said that he was very vigilant about his establishment, as he received many reports of his customers’ missing items.

Ultimately, Diwata decided just to forgive the man and let him leave his establishment.

Karla Estrada gave her opinion on the current status of her son, Daniel Padilla, who was facing criticism after his breakup with Kathryn Bernardo.

In an interview with Bernadette Sembrano, Karla claimed that Daniel became a topic worldwide, and she believed that the recent issues affected him.

However, Karla said that Daniel was the only one who knew his state, and what she could only do was pray for her son.

“Yung anak ko, pinag-usapan naman ng buong daigdig ‘yan ano. And I always pray that he will be okay. But at the end of the day, yung question na kamusta yung anak ko, kamusta si Daniel, si Daniel lang ang tanging makakasagot ng buo non.” she said.

She also talked about experiencing mistakes to learn more about life.

Karla vowed that he would never leave her son alone, and she was ready to defend him no matter what.

“Kailangan mong magkamali para may matutunan ka at maging maayos ka o maging mabuti kang tao after that,” she stated. “Andito lang ako lagi sa likod ni DJ, if ever na tawagan niya ko at gusto niya akong makausap,”

“Its an exercise for my children hindi sila nakatanghod sila sakin kapag mayroon silang problema, kasi ang tinuro ko sa mga anak pwede kayong madapa pwede kayong masaktan and you’ll just learn from it,” she added.

Xian Lim didn’t hesitate to answer a question from Dingdong Dantes during his appearance on Family Feud.

The actor became one of the players of Family Feud to promote his upcoming Teleserye on GMA Network.

Dingdong, who’s the host of the show, asked all the players what they would do if they crossed paths with their ex-partners.

Xian didn’t hesitate to answer, saying he would tell his ex-girlfriend something inspirational.

“Pag nakasalubong mo ang ex mo, you [say] should na… ‘I hope you do find happiness, that it is you are looking for. Ganun lang dapat masaya, di ba? Dapat masaya kayo para sa isat’ isa,'” he said.

It can be recalled that Xian recently broke up with Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu, which ended their nearly 12-year relationship.

Several months after their breakup, Xian was linked to film producer Iris Lee and eventually admitted their relationship.

“Yes, I’m seeing Iris,” Lim said. “Just to clear everything, to clear all the speculations. We are seeing each other and we are very happy, more happier compared to my past relationships. Nothing wrong,” he said.

Xian, who’s also working as a director, worked with Iris on several projects even before breaking up with Kim.

Megastar Sharon Cuneta admitted that she and her daughter, KC Concepcion, are already “estranged,” which means they decided to part ways.

In an interview with MJ Marfori, Sharon, who the status of her family amid her decision to file charges against Cristy Fermin, said that she was affected by the criticisms being thrown against her by the veteran columnist, especially since she had problems with KC.

“Ano man din ang problema ng panganay ko, because at this point we are estranged I’m very very hurt, pero there are things na ‘tama na ‘yon’ there are things na amin nalang,” she said.

“Pero kahit balik-baliktarin mo ‘yung mundo, mahal mo ‘yong anak mo eh so tiis tiis nalang bilang nanay. Pero dadating din sa point na ayokong isiksik ang sarili ko,” she added.

Before Sharon filed charges against Cristy, the veteran columnist claimed that KC and her mother were not on good terms.

“Meron po kaming source na nagkwento na meron daw pong napakahalagang kagamitan si Sharon Cuneta na ipinagkatiwala kay KC Concepcion na bigla na lamang naglaho. Noong hinahanap na ni Sharon, hindi maibigay ni KC,” Cristy said.

“Ang dahilan hindi ko alam kung sadya o nagipit lang… naisanla ni KC nang walang pahintulot sa Megastar,” she added.

According to Cristy, KC returned the said item, but it took a long time before it happened.

Former actress Giselle Töngi-Walters, popularly known as G. Toengi, suggested that Cristy Fermin consider retiring as she was already facing multiple charges from different personalities.

It can be recalled that Sarah Lahbati’s mother, Bea Alonzo, Sharon Cuneta, and Kiko Pangilinan filed charges against Cristy due to her statements.

In her tweet, Giselle expressed her belief that it would be the right time for Cristy to retire from being a showbiz columnist.

Even Giselle received criticism in 2020 from Cristy after the former actress criticized Arnell Ignacio.

In her program, Cristy Ferminute, Cristy discussed the work of Giselle as a ‘waitress’ in America.

“Inilabas niya po ang kanyang diploma dahil tapos na po siya UCLA (University of California) at hindi lang po siya graduate, with honors pa,” said Cristy.

“Nagalit ang mga kababayan natin ang yabang yabang ipamahagi sa buong mundo na graduate ka sa University of California tapos with honors ka pa, pero bakit ka sawsaw ng sawsaw, pwede bang pakialaman mo nalang at asikasuhin ang pagiging waitress mo diyan sa America?” she added.

She also called Giselle a “hitad” or flirty, claiming that she received the information from the former actress’ ex-manager.

As of writing, Cristy has yet to give a response to Giselle.

Billy Crawford gave an update to his fans following the concerns they expressed due to the appearance of the television host performing in one of the videos that went viral on social media.

In his Instagram post, Billy posted a photo after traveling from another country with a caption asking his followers to relax.

Comedian Vice Ganda went viral on social media after he made a hint about filing charges against an individual.

In one of the episodes of It’s Showtime, Vice made a complaint as many of his fans had many requests to him, which also included filing a lawsuit.

“Itong mga madlang people ang daming ipinapagawa sakin. Gumawang Asoka Challenge, Piliin ang Pilipinas Challenge. Magdemanda na rin.. Dami gusto ipagawa sakin,” he said.

“Ano ba gusto n’yo pagbigyan ko? Gumawa o magdemanda?” he added.

He made the said remarks amid the charges filed by several celebrities against veteran columnist Cristy Fermin.

It can be recalled that Cristy often criticized Vice and made several claims that had already reached the comedian’s camp.

Cristy called out Vice’s attitude and even claimed that he had bad breath in the past.

“‘Yun na siya, innate na ‘yon, ipinanganak siya kakambal na ng kanyang inunan ‘yung kayabangan,” said Cristy. “Yung kayabangan niya, ‘yung pagiging hambog niya na sinasabi ng ating mga kababayan, pag-aralan po nating mabuti – may dahilan ‘yon,”

“May mga kulang po na kailangan niyang punan, may mga butas na dapat niyang takpan kaya dapat ay unawain natin siya sa pagiging mayabang,” she added.

As a response, Vice took a swipe several times against Cristy and even mentioned her name in one of It’s Showtime’s episodes.

Veteran columnist Cristy Fermin made a response to the charges filed against her by Sharon Cuneta and Kiko Pangilinan.

In her program, Cristy Ferminute, Cristy refused to make an official statement following the charges she received from the celebrity couple.

However, she believed that being charged was only part of the risks of being a “journalist.”

“Naiintindihan po natin kung saan sila nagmumula kung paanong dapat rin nilang unawain kung ano ang aming trabaho, ‘yun lamang po ‘yun. You don’t shoot the messenger,” she said.

“Basta naiintindihan natin kung saan sila nagmumula. Wala pa po akong masasabi. Wala pa kaming impormasyon na tinatanggap. Basta naiintindihan natin ito. ‘Yan ay kasama po sa ating trabaho bilang mamamahayag,” she added.

She also told her family that being charged with cyber libel was nothing to be ashamed of.

“Sabi ko nga sa mga anak ko, ‘Mahiya kayo kapag ako ay dinemanda sa pagnanakaw. ‘Yun ang dapat natin ikahiya pero ‘yung ganto cyber libel kasama po ito sa [trabaho],” she stated.

It can be recalled that Sharon said that her children were the ones affected by Cristy’s statement against her.

Aside from Sharon, Bea Alonzo, and Sarah Lahbati’s mother also filed charges against Cristy.
