Pokwang to file charges against Fyang’s fans for alleged threats to Malia

Comedian Pokwang didn’t hesitate to bring fans of Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 Big Winner Fyang Smith to court after she and her daughter Malia received threats from them.

In a social media post, Pokwang said that she had already taken a screenshot of the said messages they received from Fyang’s supporters.

“’Yung may mga fans na nagmamahal ng sobra to the point pati si Malia na anak ko, wish nila ng di maganda! Na-screenshot ko na para kasuhan,” said Pokwang.

It can be recalled that Pokwang asked Fyang to be humble after the latter claimed that they were the best batch in the 18-season history of the reality show.

“Alam mo, kahit ilang batch pa ’yan, walang makakatalo sa batch namin. Hello? Gen 11? Breaking… Highest… Hello?” said Fyang.

“Hindi, joke lang! Kaya walang makakatalo sa batch namin kasi lahat kami very genuine, very authentic. Akala nga namin walang nanonood, kaya lahat kami gano’n mga ugali namin,” she added.

In response, Pokwang said that Fyang must stop her arrogance.

“My God, iha, 21 years na ako sa showbiz at ang sekreto—BE HUMBLE iha. ’Yan muna ang pag-aralan. Naka-ilang PBB season na ang nasaksihan ko pero iilan na lang silang active sa showbiz. So iha please, ’wag muna magyabang. Bad ’yan.” Pokwang stated.

“Yes, kagaya ng makatrabaho ko sila Nadine, Liza Soberano, Sandara Park, Kim Chu, Melai—di ko malilimutan ’yon. Kasama sila Marian Rivera, Vilma Santos, Eddie Garcia, Tatay Dolphy, Gloria Romero… wait, John Lloyd, Aga, Claudine B., Bossing Vic pa at Juday. Sarap malaos kapag ganyan mga naka-work mo,” she added.

Sen. Robin Padilla’s security in high alert after receiving online threats

Senator Robin Padilla’s security was on full alert after an online campaign about burning him had already reached more than 30,000 participants.

The said campaign: “Sunugin si Senador Robin Padilla kung amoy Rody Duterte nga sya,” was formed after Padilla expressed his loyalty to former President Rodrigo Duterte, saying in jest that he would still smell like the former chief executive even if you burn him.

However, Padilla’s security team took the online campaign seriously because someone might use it to do actual harm to the senator.

“Nagkaroon ng paghihigpit sa aming mga pupuntahan at sa Hanggang ngayon ay naka red alert pa rin ang aking security dahil ang mga ganitong kampanya ayon sa kanila ay baka sakyan ng mga terorista,” said Padilla.

He even said that they planned to file charges against the organizer of the said event, but decided to backtrack because he believed that it would make him look like an onion-skinned politician.

“Napagkasunduan na mag file ng kaso ang aming pamilya sa mga nagpakalat at nagkampanya nito pero napagkasunduan ng pamilya na bitiwan ang pagreklamo ng cyberlibel dahil hindi mainam,” he stated.

Malacanang Net25 reporter Eden Santos, ipinagtanggol ni Sen. Marcoleta

Senator Rodante Marcoleta defended Net25 Malacanang Palace reporter Eden Santos from her possible removal from her beat after the request from the Presidential Communications Office (PCO).

In an interview, Marcoleta, who’s a member of Iglesia ni Cristo, which owns Net25, Santos would be hard to replace because of her decades of experience as a journalist.

“Ako unang-una personal, kung hihilingin nila si Eden Suarez Santos na ilipat at alisin dun [sa Malacanang], papaano natin gagawin ‘yun, eh si Eden pa naman ang pinakamatinik nating reporter? Papaano ko isa-substitute ‘yan, saan ako hahanap pa? Napakahirap namang kumuha ng reporter,” he said.

“Alam mo naman ‘yung reporter natin, taon na ang kanilang training dito. Hindi naman ganoon kadali na basta ka nalang maglipat, saka hindi naman ganoon ang patakaran,” he added.

Marcoleta also said that Malacanang was not the one that must decide whether Santos would be transferred or not.

“Bakit kayo ang magsasabi na palitan namin? Kami dapat ‘yung nagpadala, ‘yun ang merong discretion na palitan kung saan na siya gustong ilagay, hindi kayo ang magpapalit. Kahit suggestions lang, parang hindi tama,” he stated.

It can be recalled that PCO requested Santos’ removal because of the incident that happened on June 25, 2025 where the reporter allegedly violated the safety protocols to get a scoop from President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

“Sadly, this is not the first time that Santos has violated the rule. While we recognize the zeal and even the need for Santos to get a story from the President, we should also recognize the need for our reporters to observe and respect the rules specifically set to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the President,” the letter read.

The Malacanang beat reporter who went viral several times for clashing with the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Usec and press officer Claire Castro was reportedly being asked to stop covering the palace.

In a letter sent to NET25, PCO complained about the reporter Eden Santos, who violated the protocols by allegedly conducting an ambush interview with President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. during the destruction of billions of pesos worth of illegal drugs on June 25, 2025.

According to PCO, reporters like Santos were not exempt from the security measures being applied to protect the president from possible dangers.

“Sadly, this is not the first time that Santos has violated the rule. While we recognize the zeal and even the need for Santos to get a story from the President, we should also recognize the need for our reporters to observe and respect the rules specifically set to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the President,” the letter read.

As of the time of writing, NET25 or Santos has yet to respond to PCO’s request.

Santos was known for her no-filter questions during Malacañang press briefings, and some political vloggers said that they already expected the reporter to get the ire of the Palace.

Two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo said that he wanted to challenge his younger brother, Karl Eldrew Yulo, in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.

In an interview, Carlos said that he wanted him and Karl to both be qualified for the upcoming Olympics and seek a gold medal together.

“Hindi kasi kami makakapagsabay sa Thailand SEA Games so baka sa Asian Games or sa Olympics,” said Carlos.

As of writing, Karl, who was expected to win a gold medal in 2028, has yet to give a response to his brother.

Karl was currently being trained by Munehiro Kugiyama, Carlos’ former coach, who had become controversial after the two-time Olympic gold medalist left, allegedly due to his relationship with Chloe San Jose.

Carlos’ decision to leave his Japanese coach sparked a feud between him and his family.

Yulo family believed that Kugiyama was the reason why Carlos won his gold medals, but the latter didn’t receive any incentives as the athlete already changed his coach before the Olympics.

Since he won the Olympics, Carlos has yet to meet his mother and father, but has already met Karl several times and is visibly on good terms.

The woman who went viral on social media because of her stunt in one of the branches of a popular convenience store chain finally revealed herself.

In an interview, Vivian Bravo Vinuya, a resident of Arayat, Pampanga, said she didn’t mind the negative reaction she received on social media after she went inside an ice freezer of one of the branches of Alfamart.

“Bahala sila. Sanay na ako kung saan ,kung anong sinasabi nila sa akin. ‘Yung iba totoo, ‘yung iba hindi. Kaplasikan na lang,” she said.

She also insisted that she was clean and newly bathed when she entered the freezer.
