Torre joined the physical activities several days after he was announced as a member of Tau Gamma Phi on September 8, 2026.

In the said event, Torre can be seen interacting with his supporters in Iriga and even entertaining selfie requests.

Before the event, Torre was captured doing a Zumba session with other marathon participants.

It can be recalled that Torre’s membership in Tau Gamma Phi was questioned, and some members doubted whether the government official underwent the normal membership process of the fraternity.

One of the members of Tau Gamma Phi, Mar Valbuena, used his social media page to criticize Torre’s membership and even insinuated that the official used his influence as a shortcut to become a member.

However, some members of the fraternity defended Torre and insisted that the official was properly oriented on the principles and obligations of being a Tau Gamma Phi member.
